Abstract

ABSTRACT This article aims to look at the effects of modeling techniques. Model problem of the ability of tenth grade students in writing short stories at the SMAN 5 Padang . Data were taken from the score without using modeling techniques and the use of modeling techniques class X SMA Negeri 5 Padang. The results showed that; First, the average value of students without the use of modeling techniques are classified as Fair ( C) 64.32. Second, the average value of using modeling techniques students classified as Good (B) 80.05. Third, the value is greater than (9.25 > 1.70), which means that the research hypothesis is accepted. Finally, it can be concluded that the use of modeling techniques, writing teaching model have a significant impact on the ability of tenth grade students in writing short stories at the SMAN 5 Padang. Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik, pemodelan, menulis cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the effect of discovery learning method on the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. The data of this research is score of test resultof writing short story without using discovery learning method and using discovery learning method seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded the following three points. First, the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman without using discovery learning method is in qualification Enough (C). the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman using discovery learning method is in good qualification (B). Third, based on the results of t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at level siginificance 95% and degrees of freedom (dk) = n1 + n2 - 2 for tcount> ttable (5.69> 1.67). In other words, the skill of writing short story text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman using discovery learning method better than without using discovery learning method. Kata kunci: pengaruh, metode discovery learning, menulis teks cerita pendek

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis article was written to illusstrate the effect of using technic mind mapping to writing skill of biography text of X students of SMA Negeri 3 Solok Selatan. This research data is a score in the skills of writing biography text before and after using technic mind mapping. This study has three results. First, the skills of writing biography texts before using technic mind mapping stay in the qualification Medium (SD). Second, the skill of writing the biography of the students of grade X SMA Negeri 3 Solok Selatan after using the technic mind mapping is qualified good (B). Abstract

ABSTRACT     The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of cooperative learning model of jigsaw type toward writing description text skill for student at Seventh grade in 12 Junior High School Padang (SMP Negeri 12 Padang). This research is a quantitative study with experimental method. The study design is a static two groups. The population in this study is a class VII SMP Negeri 12 Padang totaling 262 people. Samples were determined using purposive sampling technique which consists of two classes, without using the model of cooperative learning type jigsaw (VII.4 class) totaling 34 students, and classes using model of cooperative learning type jigsaw (class VII.5) totaled 32 students. Instruments used in this research that tests the performance. The data of this study is score of the test result writing description text skill by using cooperative learning model of  jigsaw type. The data was collected through work showing test. Based on data analysis, the use of cooperative learning model of type jigsaw affect the description text writing skills for students at seventh grade in 12 junior high school Padang at the significance level of 95% with dk = (n1 + n2) -2.Kata kunci: pengaruh, pembelajaran kooperatif, jigsaw, teks menulis deskriptif

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to (1) describe grade ability in writing news text without using PBL model, (2) describe grade ability in writing news text with using PBL model, and (3) describe the effect of the use of PBL model, toward students’ ability in writing news text. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. There are three results of the research are (1) the students’ ability in writing news text without using PBL model is low and grades C with average 67,38, (2) the students’ ability in writing news text with using PBL model is high and grades B with average 82,26, and (3) based on t-test, alternative hypothesis (H­1) is gained at the significant phase 95% and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1+n2)-2 because tcount> ttable (5,659>1,67). Kata Kunci: pengaruh, model problem based learning, menulis berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the process of developing LKS with copy the master technique for learning to write valid exposition text, (2) practical  and (3) effective. The development mode used is 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, development . This development process produces products in the form of LKS with copy the master technique for expository, valid, and effective expository writing material.The results of this study indicate that the resulting LKS categorized as valid, effective and practical. It is seen based on the value of validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKS. The overall LKS validity score is 77.15%, the average of practicality by teachers is 85% and the student is 83.33%) and effective.Based on the calculation with Likert formula obtained 85.25% results so that the use of LKS model with copy the master technique on writing material exposition effectively. Kata kunci: pengembangan , LKS, menulis teks eksposisi, teknik copy the master, validitas, efektivitas, praktikalitas

Abstract

The purposes of study were to  (1) describe the forms of speech acts of illocution, (2) to describe the function of speech acts of illocution, and (3) to describe the narrative strategy used in the Summary Antim of Youth Teens of 2015. This type of research is qualitative by using descriptive method. The result of the research shows (1) The form of the act of speech illocution found that is representative, expressive directive, competetive declaration, convivial kolabotatif and conflict (3) strategy found that consist of speech act strategy speak frankly without without preamble tend to be used in context of utterance which is spoken by persons of equal standing and age. A straightforward, no-nonsense strategy of positive politeness tends to be used in the context of the speech that a younger character tells a younger character. The strategy of telling frankly without preamble to speak negatively tended to be told by an older figure to a younger character, already familiar in public. ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the influence techniques modeling assist media picture the skills of essay writing description class X SMK Pembina Bangsa Bukittinggi. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to (1) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas without using a strategy of inquiry assisted audiovisual media, (2) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Trunk Cotton using a strategy of inquiry assisted media audiovisual, and (3) describe the effect of the use of inquiry strategies aided audiovisual media to news writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas. This research is a quantitative study with experimental method. The results of this study there are three, namely (1) news writing skills without the use of audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Rod Cotton is the qualification More than Enough (LDC) with an average value of 68.37. (2) news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Cotton Trunk is qualifiers Good (B) with an average value of 81.63. (3) based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% significance level and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1 + n2) -2 because thitung¬> ttable (12.27> 1.67). From the results of hypothesis testing there is a significant influence on news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas.  Kata kunci: Pengaruh, strategi inkuiri, mdi audiovisual, menulis berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study to describe three things. First, the text of the report writing skills on the observation class VII SMP 2 Linggo Sari Baganti South Coastal District without using media direct object. Second, the text of the report writing skills on the observation class VII SMP 2 Linggo Sari Baganti South Coastal District using media direct object. Third, the effect of the application object media directly to the learning skills of writing text of the report on the observation of students of class VII SMP 2 Linggo Sari Baganti South Coastal District. This research is a quantitative experimental methods and research design static two groups (the experimental class and control class). Based on the results of the study concluded the following three things. First, the text of the report writing skills on the observation without using the media direct object class VII SMP 2 Linggo Sari Baganti South Coastal District are in qualification More than Just an average of 66.11. Second, the text of the report writing skills of observation results by using the media direct object class VII SMP 2 Linggo Sari Baganti South Coastal District are in the qualification Good with the average value of 78.84. Third, based on the t-test results, it was concluded that there is a direct influence of the media object to the text of the report writing skills on the observation class VII SMP 2 Linggo Sari Baganti South Coastal District for tcount> ttable (4.30> 1.68). In other words, media direct object is best applied in the process of learning the skills to write text report the observation of students of class VII SMP 2 Linggo Sari Baganti South Coastal Distric. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Media Objek Langsung, Menulis, Teks Laporan Hasil       Observasi
