Abstract

Perfume notes are a sophisticated blend of essential or fragrance oils that give perfumes a distinct scent. Melon notes are highly favored aromatic elements in perfumes. Melon (Cucumis melo L. ‘Gama Melon Parfum’), known by the local name Gama Melon Parfum (GMP), is a melon breed that has unique phenotypic characteristics: bitter taste, batik-like pattern, and fragrant aroma. GMP has a fresh and fruity melon character, typically used as a top note in the perfume pyramid concept. Our study aimed to develop a perfume derived from GMP volatile extract as a fragrance ingredient. The process included collection, identification, extraction, physicochemical characterization, volatile compound analysis, perfume optimization, preparation, and perfumery radar. GMP can serve as the top note in a perfume formulation. From the D-optimal mixture design, an ideal perfume formula could be created from a mixture of 0.95 mL GMP, 0.55 mL rose, and 0.50 mL vanilla. The composition was found to produce a perfume that met sensory standards: a transparent and uniform liquid without impurities. It also had a unique aromatic scent with a relative density of 0.8102 g/cm3 which fell within the specified range of 0.7000-1.200 g/cm3, viscosity of 0.7931 cps within the required range of 0.7830-1.4030 cps, and a hedonic level of 9.72 cm out of a maximum of 15.00 cm. The perfume radar showed fruity-floral-musk characteristics. Results from this research indicate that enhancing GMP as a fragrance ingredient enables the creation of an optimal perfume that meets the required standards, is well-received, and demonstrates an inclination toward femininity.

Abstract

Candi Sari, salah satu peninggalan Buddha di Yogyakarta, memiliki nilai sejarah dan arsitektur yang khas, namun kurang dikenal dibandingkan candi-candi lainnya di sekitarnya. Dengan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi Candi Sari sebagai destinasi wisata budaya yang dapat mendukung pelestarian warisan budaya sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan metode wawancara, survei, dan studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam konservasi serta peluang untuk pengembangan pariwisata budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Candi Sari memiliki daya tarik unik, tantangan seperti minimnya promosi, kurangnya dana, dan keterbatasan keterlibatan masyarakat lokal menjadi hambatan utama dalam pengelolaan situs. Melalui kolaborasi antara masyarakat, pemerintah, dan sektor swasta, Candi Sari memiliki peluang besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai pusat wisata budaya yang mendukung pelestarian berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Marine debris is a severe environmental problem in Indonesia. Plastic waste and other waste that pollute the oceans harm the ecosystem and endanger human health. Raising public awareness of this problem requires an effective and engaging approach. One possible solution is using augmented reality (AR) technology in interactive art exhibitions. The purpose of this study is to develop an AR-based interactive art exhibition that can increase public understanding and awareness of the impacts of marine debris. Through digital illustrations, AR animations, and even collaboration with renowned artist Red Miller Blood, exhibition visitors are directly involved in understanding the problem and finding creative solutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh konten video review terhadap perilaku konsumsi Generasi Z. Meskipun Generasi Z aktif menggunakan media sosial untuk mencari informasi produk, analisis komentar menunjukkan bahwa respons terhadap video review cenderung netral. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa konten video review tidak secara signifikan mendorong perilaku overconsumption, meskipun ada beberapa indikasi pembelian impulsif. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya memahami dinamika konsumsi Generasi Z dan implikasi konten video dalam membentuk pola konsumsi yang lebih berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang untuk studi lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh media sosial terhadap perilaku konsumen.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki lebih dari 1.700 warisan budaya yang perlu dilestarikan, namun survei menunjukkan hanya sekitar 50% generasi muda merasa bangga dengan budayanya. Fenomena ini menjadi tanda perlunya pendekatan inovatif dalam pelestarian budaya, salah satunya melalui museum metaverse seperti MUMAIN. Museum ini menawarkan pengalaman virtual yang imersif dan memungkinkan akses lintas batas geografis tanpa hambatan fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode usability testing dengan pendekatan evaluasi heuristik, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam untuk menganalisis efektivitas desain UI/UX MUMAIN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MUMAIN berhasil menyediakan antarmuka yang intuitif dan menarik, sehingga mendekati pengalaman museum fisik. Selain itu, platform ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan pengguna, terutama generasi muda yang akrab dengan teknologi digital. Namun, kendala berupa keterbatasan teknologi ditemukan pada perangkat dengan spesifikasi rendah, yang menghambat jangkauan pengguna secara maksimal. Kesimpulannya, museum metaverse seperti MUMAIN memiliki potensi besar untuk melestarikan budaya Indonesia secara digital, meskipun diperlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut pada aksesibilitas, fleksibilitas navigasi, dan kualitas pengalaman pengguna.

Abstract

This research analyzes the positive impact of visual branding on the development and market position of MSMEs through case studies on Brodo and Adorable Projects. Visual branding is a crucial element in shaping consumer perceptions and increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs amidst increasingly fierce industrial competition. This research uses semiotic analysis methods to examine the visual signs in the logo, colors, typography and other elements that are the visual characteristics of the two brands. The analysis was carried out using a semiotic qualitative approach. Effective visual branding not only strengthens brand identity in the market, but also creates a positive emotional connection with consumers. This study confirms the importance of investing in attractive, consistent and culturally relevant visual elements to build sustainable and highly competitive MSME brands.

Abstract

Rajah adalah satu warisan budaya sejenis mantra yang digunakan untuk memulai berbagai kegiatan seperti pekerjaan, menanam padi, membuka lahan baru, mengisahkan cerita pantun, sebagai permohonan izin kepada para penguasa. Namun kini jika di bandingkan dengan zaman sekarang rajah Sunda lebih terbilang sebagai do’a pembuka dan do’a penutup. Lebih dari sekedar doa rajah Sunda juga mengandung nilai etika yang tinggi. Dikenal dengan budaya yang menyiratkan nilai-nilai sopan santun. Rajah sunda juga masuk kedalam tradisi lisan yang merupakan bagian dari tujuan pemajuan kebudayaan. Namun minimnya informasi dan kuatnya pengaruh budaya populer membuat rajah dipandang kuno, tidak relevan dengan kehidupan masa kini dan sering diasosiasikan dengan hal-hal mistis, membuat rajah semakin banyak ditinggalkan. Pelestarian budaya lokal melalui media kreatif sangat penting untuk mempertahankan identitas, juga sebagai bentuk adaptasi budaya di tengah perubahan zaman. Sampai saat ini kajian mengenai rajah Sunda masih sangat terbatas, belum banyak penelitian yang mengeksplorasi rajah Sunda dalam bentuk sinematik khususnya film sebagai media edukasi dan pelestarian budaya. Maka dari itu film pendek dapat menjadi media eksplorasi dan edukasi, menjadi pendukung dalam perancangan ini agar penonton mendapatkan informasi serta edukasi dengan durasi yang pendek. Dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan apresiasi generasi muda terhadap rajah Sunda sebagai bagian dari warisan budaya lisan. Proses perancangan dari film pendek ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu: pra-prosuksi, produksi, dan post-produks. Perancangan ini membuktikan bahwa rajah berhasil dihadirkan bukan hanya sebagai warisan budaya, tetapi juga sebagai bentuk etika dan sopan santun yang relevan di kehidupan sekarang, Dengan demikian perancangan ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam Upaya pelestarian budaya Sunda. Dengan mengangkat nilai etika dan sopan santun dalam bentuk narasi dan puitis film ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media edukasi tapi juga menjadi media reflektif yang mampu perantara kepada generasi muda dengan warisan leluhur.

Abstract

Agriculture is a sector that is able to score growth during the pandemic crisis. The export performance of the agricultural sector also continues to show positive growth. For this reason, real support is needed so that agriculture can continue to grow sustainably. One of them is by building a modern agricultural commodity product storage system, one of which is by using a warehouse receipt system. The warehouse receipt system has very strategic functions, including as a stock management instrument, logistics financing instrument, and supporting food security efforts. Unfortunately, the utilization of the warehouse receipt system in Kudus Regency is still very low, as indicated by the minimal utilization of the warehouse receipt system. This research aims to analyze the reasons why the warehouse receipt system has not been optimally utilized by farmers. This research uses a qualitative method with Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that SRG has great potential to improve the welfare of farmers and advance the agricultural sector in Kudus Regency. However, to overcome various obstacles that hinder the implementation of SRG, serious efforts are needed from various parties, namely: Increase public knowledge and awareness about SRG; simplify the process and requirements for using SRG; improve SRG infrastructure, including information systems and warehouses; improve the ability of farmers to obtain financing through SRG; and improve cooperation between related agencies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and the self-confidence of class XI students at SMA N 1 Kasiman. The method used in this research is quantitative with a correlation research design. Meanwhile, the technique used in this research is saturated sampling which was used for tryouts with a total of 32 students. Based on a simple linear regression test, the result was (r) = 0.649, r calculated > from r table or 0.649 > 0.151, the coefficient of determination value was 42%, and if adjusted to the interpretation table it would show that emotional maturity and self-confidence have a sufficient level of relationship. While the significance value is 10.958, meaning the calculated t value is 10.958 > t table 1.97446, which shows that there is a significant influence between emotional maturity and the self-confidence of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Kasiman.

Abstract

Viewing women as targets of objectification is still tightly grasped by Indonesian culture which is sometimes conveyed through folklore. This research aims to examine one of the folklores of Putri Mandalika as a representation of the deconstruction of women's objectification through picture books. The research was carried out by examining visual elements using the theory of Visual Semiotics which includes Signs, Objects, and Interpretants. The elements other than visuals are in the form of verbal writing. The method used is qualitative descriptive to interpret, analyze, and explain a situation. The results of this study inform that in the picture story book Folklore of Princess Mandalika: A Legend from the Land of Bumi Gora from sasak tribe there are elements of objectification of women where Princess Mandalika is considered an object that can be owned, exchanged, and silenced, but Princess Mandalika succeeded in opposing this and sacrificed for the peace of her people. With more introduction of folktales that resist or without objectification of women, it is possible that Indonesian cultural habits that position women as objects will fade away.
