Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis risiko kebakaran yang disebabkan oleh ledakan pipa bertekanan tinggi. Di kapal, kebakaran merupakan kecelakaan paling fatal dan paling sering terjadi dibandingkan dengan kecelakaan lainnya, salah satunya adalah kebakaran akibat ledakan pada pipa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, yaitu studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi dan menyajikan data-data tentang faktor-faktor penyebab ledakan pipa di atas kapal, dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta mitigasi yang perlu dilakukan. Dengan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang sering menyebabkan kebakaran di kapal serta langkah-langkah mitigasi yang harus diambil saat kebakaran terjadi, kita dapat lebih berhati-hati dan profesional dalam menangani situasi darurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebakaran terjadi akibat adanya unsur-unsur yang, apabila bersatu, dapat memicu kebakaran, yaitu udara, bahan mudah terbakar, dan sumber panas. Ledakan pada pipa bertekanan tinggi dapat menyebabkan kebakaran yang dipicu oleh kelalaian manusia serta usia pipa yang sudah tua. Dampak yang ditimbulkan meliputi percikan api yang memicu kebakaran serta kerusakan properti di atas kapal. Oleh karena itu, langkah-langkah mitigasi perlu diterapkan untuk mencegah dan menanggulangi kebakaran tersebut.

Abstract

Basically, this experiment with a pendulum is inseparable from vibration. In this experiment we will use two methods to calculate the vibration period, namely through an insulated object at the end of the spring and the swing of the pendulum. The results of the vibration period calculation will be compared and analyzed using the two methods and it will be seen which method is more accurate in calculating the spring period. Based on the data obtained from observations, it can be concluded that from the two methods used, determining gravitational acceleration using a pendulum swing is more accurate. This is seen from the average value of gravitational acceleration (g), where we obtain the following values: g pendulum = 9.559 ms2 and g spring = 10.07 ms2. These two values indicate that the g value of the pendulum swing is closer to the general gravitational acceleration value, namely 9.81 ms2

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa pada materi pokok zat dan wujudnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Pembelajaran kontekstual terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi zat dan wujudnya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual dapat menjadi alternatif yang baik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Procedure for Issuing a Container Release Order (SP2) in Improving Depot Service Efficiency at PT. Prima Indonesia Logistik Belawan / Maria Christina Lumbanraja / Nit.2201005 / Department of Commercial Shipping and Port Administration – Politeknik Adiguna Maritim Indonesia Medan 2025. The preparation of this paper is intended to conduct an in-depth study of the procedures for issuing Container Release Orders (SP2) and to assess their impact on the efficiency of depot services at PT. Prima Indonesia Logistics Belawan. The SP2 is a vital document that serves as official authorization to release containers from the depot to their final destination, and the issuance mechanism largely determines the smooth flow of logistics. In practice in the field, delays and inaccuracies in SP2 procedures often lead to long queues, operational congestion, and a decline in service quality. The author uses a qualitative approach through direct observation or field research, supplemented by library research to strengthen the analysis. The findings indicate that the biggest obstacles to SP2 issuance lie in the slow data verification process, limitations in digital systems, and weak coordination between departments. Therefore, improvements in operational standards, integration of information systems, and enhancement of human resource capacity through training are needed. With these improvements, the container release process is expected to be faster, more accurate, and capable of supporting smooth logistics distribution overall.

Abstract

This research aims to see differences in student learning outcomes through the use of laboratory equipment and amination media on the main topic of Temperature and Heat. This type of research is experimental. The population in the study were all class X students of SMA Medan consisting of 9 classes totaling 417 people. Sampling was carried out using simple random sampling by taking 2 classes from 9 classes randomly, namely class X-9 as experimental class I using laboratory equipment and class X-4 as experimental class II using animation media. Both classes totaled 45 people. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes is a learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choices with a total of 15 questions. Based on data analysis, it was obtained that the pretest results for both classes were normally distributed and then a data homogeneity test was carried out so that it was known that the two class samples came from homogeneous groups. The post-test results were obtained with an average result for experimental class I which used laboratory equipment media of 59.26 with a standard deviation of 11.21 and experimental class II which used animation media of 54.07 with a standard deviation of 12.81. The results of the t test obtained tcount = 2.04 and ttable = 1.9, so that tcount > ttable (2.04 > 1.9) then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, thus it was found that there was a difference in learning outcomes using laboratory equipment and using laboratory media. animation medias

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melibatkan para nelayan dan penduduk disekitar pantai labu pesisir utara kabupaten Deli Serdang kecamatan Pantai Labu, yang sebagian besar penduduk desanya mengandalkan pekerjaan di laut, seperti nelayan atau nakhoda kapal penyeberangan antar pulau. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh tim dari Politeknik Adiguna Maritim Indonesia (Poltek Ami) Medan di kecamatan Pantai Labu, tujuan utama adalah untuk mencari solusi terkait pelestarian lingkungan dan pencegahan pencemaran laut yang bersumber dari sampah kapal dan sampah plastic di wilayah pesisir tersebut. Laut, yang menjadi sumber penghidupan bagi masyarakat setempat, terutama nelayan di desa pesisir pantai labu, sangat rentan terhadap dampak pencemaran. Oleh karena itu, tim  Politeknik Adiguna maritime Indonesia (Poltek Ami) Medan berencana untuk mensosialisasikan pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan dan dampak buruk apabila terjadi pencemaran laut, yang meliputi sampah plastik, limbah industri, serta limbah minyak dari kapal para nelayan.

Abstract

PT. Admiral Lines Belawan Branch is a company that operates owned vessels and is also engaged in agency services. In the sense of representative of the ship owner / principle for processing documents at the port for both arrival and departure of the ship. Ports as arrival and departure terminals for ships and cargo need to provide adequate facilities and services so that ships can be served smoothly and efficiently. Managing the arrival and departure of a ship more smoothly and efficiently cannot be separated from an application called the INAPORNET system. The position of the port as the gateway for a ship entering/leaving the port, especially from within the country or abroad or vice versa, must obtain approval from the authorized agencies at the port, such as the Harbor Master's Office and Port Authority (KSOP), Health Quarantine, Customs and Excise, Immigration. This notification is to ensure that the ship and its cargo entering/exiting the port have complied with the provisions of applicable laws and conventions. Management of the needs and interests of ships and their cargo is carried out by shipping company branches such as PT. Belawan Branch Line Admiral.
