Abstract

Pakan ikan merupakan komponen penting dalam kegiatan budidaya ikan air tawar. Harga pakan bermutu di pasaran relatif tinggi dan cenderung mengalami kenaikan. Pembuatan pakan ikan secara mandiri merupakan langkah tepat untuk mengurangi tingginya biaya produksi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kapasitas produksi pakan ikan melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna berbasis green economy. Mitra adalah kelompok budidaya ikan (pokdakan) Mina Mandiri, Desa Panembangan, Cilongok, Banyumas. Metode kegiatan adalah metode pendekatan partisipatoris, dengan tahap kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan (pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna), pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Tingkat keberhasilan program diukur dengan metode one group pre-test and post-test. Hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukkan 83,33% anggota mitra memahami dan mampu mengimplementasikan formulasi bahan baku pakan ikan, 81,25% anggota mitra memahami dan mampu mengimplementasikan penggunaan binder alami, dan 80% anggota mitra menguasai penggunaan alat pembuat pakan ikan terpadu. Pakan ikan yang dihasilkan memiliki kadar protein 30%, berbentuk bulat atau agak memanjang sesuai pesanan, dan daya apung lebih dari 60 menit. Kapasitas produksi mencapai 300-400 kg/hari dibandingkan sebelumnya 50-70 kg/hari. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif bagi mitra dan meningkatkan gairah berbudidaya ikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan perlunya keberlanjutan program untuk mendampingi mitra mengatasi berbagai persoalan produksi pakan maupun budidaya ikan.

Abstract

Anemia is when the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells. This condition occurs due to reduced hemoglobin (an iron-rich protein) which affects the production of red cells. Anemia is a health problem throughout the world and currently, the prevalence of anemia in adolescents is still high. The impact of anemia on teenagers is a decrease in: productivity, fitness, concentration, and decreased immunity as well as disrupting growth. Lack of information delivery, parental, community, and government concern for adolescent health as well as inadequate adolescent health services are also the reasons why this problem cannot be resolved. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbalingga regarding anemia and to screen for anemia by checking hemoglobin levels for early detection of anemia. The method used is interactive lectures and questions and answers, to check hemoglobin levels using the Point of Care Testing (POCT) method. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between before and after providing anemia screening education to students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbalingga (p<0.05) with an average of 45 before the education was provided to 80 after the education. The conclusion is that health education regarding anemia screening has increased the knowledge of young women at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbalingga.

Abstract

This service aims to apply production technology in the form of flouring machines and provide digital marketing training to increase productivity, quality, and selling power of MSME products from the Mocaf Flour Business Group in Majalangu Village, Watukumpul, Pemalang. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can help Davia Watukumpul's mocaf flour production process to be more optimal. Apart from implementing machines, digital marketing training is provided to partners to support marketing activities and increase product selling power. This service activity begins with several stages including planning, preparation, implementation, activity evaluation, and mentoring. 17 service participants took part in this activity, consisting of 10 men and 7 women. Participants are trained on how to operate tools, in the form of penpung tools. The training process that has been carried out shows that participants have increased their knowledge and understanding. The percentage of participants' knowledge increased by 60%. This shows that the participants paid attention to what the presenter had explained. Through this training, it is hoped that participants will become more enthusiastic in promoting products that have been created on social media or e-commerce according to what has been taught.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik perpindahan panas pada radiator dengan penggunaan nanofluida silikon dioksida (SiO2). Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental, skema penelitian terdiri dari sebuah tangki reservoir penampung air/nanofluida, heater sebagai pemanas air, pompa untuk mensirkulasikan air/nanofluida menuju radiator dan sebuah kipas pendingin untuk membuang panas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan rata-rata koefisien perpindahan panas sebesar 15% pada temperatur 60 oC. Peningkatan perpindahan panas maksimal terjadi pada konsentrasi 0.2 % sebesar 21 % pada bilangan reynolds sebesar 3200 pada temperatur 60 oC.

Abstract

Ducted propeller is an engineered propeller drive which aimed to enhance thrust force. Many ways can be done in purpose to enhance thrust force, such as geometry variation in term of Ld/D ratio. Ld/D ratio is a ratio between duct length and duct diameter. In this research, an analysis was conducted using numerical simulation. This research used two Ld/D ratio (0.4 and 0.5) and three propeller angular velocities as the variables (1000, 3000, and 5000 rpm). The result of this research showed that higher Ld/D ratio produced higher thrust force. At 5000 rpm the thrust fore increased 26.3% on duct with Ld/D ratio of 0.5. Moreover, higher propeller angular velocity produce higher fluid velocity at the ducted propeller outlet. The highest fluid velocity reached at 5000 rpm propeler angular velocity with the value of 9.8 and 10.8 m/s.Keywords: ducted propeller; Ld/D ratio; numerical simulation; thrust force

Abstract

Memasuki era perkembangan teknologi saat ini, banyak kegiatan-kegiatan positif yang dilakukan oleh karangtaruna salah satunya melalui pemberdayaan pemuda. Pemberdayaan yang dimaksud adalah memberikan pengetahuan maupun pelatihan supaya para pemuda memiliki kemampuan yang mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada karang taruna PERMATA Dukuhwaluh tentang bagaimana cara perbaikan dan perawatan mesin refrijerasi AC mobil. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dimulai dari sosialisasi ke karang taruna PERMATA untuk menyepakati konsep pelatihan. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian teori dasar-dasar berupa nama komponen dan sistem kerja mesin AC mobil. Materi disampaikan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab dilengkapi dengan bantuan layar monitor. Remaja karang taruna diberikan pemahaman terkait cara pengukuran tekanan, pengisian refrigeran, pemvakuman dan trouble shooting dalam AC. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 20 orang peserta. Hasil dari pelatihan ini peserta mampu memahami dengan baik berkaitan dengan sistem AC, hal ini dibuktikan dengan beberapa soal post tes yang kami laksanakan, rata-rata menjawab benar sehingga diharapkan melalui program ini dapat membuka usaha sendiri khususnya dalam bidang perawatan dan perbaikan AC yang baik dan benar.

Abstract

KWT Makmur Berkah is involved in agriculture and fisheries, utilizing land of 150 tiles (approximately 2,100 m²). In agriculture, members cultivate peanuts, chili peppers, and vegetables. In fisheries, they practice polyculture with various fish species. Currently, the fish feed used is a mix of kitchen spices and pellets. Interviews revealed that the feeding practices are suboptimal, as they focus solely on increasing fish size without addressing nutritional quality. This community service project aims to improve the knowledge and skills of KWT Makmur Berkah members in producing alternative fish feed. The project began with an overview of the importance of high-quality fish feed, followed by training in the production of alternative feed. Participants then took part in demonstrations and hands-on practice with fish feed pellet machines and learned how to maintain these machines. After the initial implementation, monitoring and evaluation were carried out, alongside periodic support to ensure the program’s ongoing success. A total of 20 KWT Makmur Berkah members participated in the project. The project’s results were significant. Participants, particularly women, not only successfully learned to operate the feed pellet machines independently but also reported high levels of satisfaction with the tool’s ease of use and efficiency. Feedback from the training was overwhelmingly positive, with many members noting that the program significantly enhanced their fish farming practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendinginan radiator pada berbagai variasi aliran udara yang melintasi radiator. tipe compact heat exchanger tube and fins. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan eksperimental pada sebuah kendaraan BMW seri E.36 dengan keadaan mobil berhenti. Proses penelitian diawali dengan memodifikasi komponen pendukung seperti tangki reservoir penampung air radiator, water pump, dan radiator. Alat ukur temperatur dipasang pada saluran masuk dan keluar pada komponen radiator untuk memonitor gelaja perubahan temperatur yang terjadi pada fluida kerja sebagai akibat perpindahan panas dari motor bakar. Intervensi putaran kipas angin pada radiator dioptimasi untuk mendapatkan data kondisi yang optimal dari sebuah sistem pendingin radiator. Penelitian dilakukan dengan variasi kecepatan kipas antara 3,5 hingga 6,5 m/s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas radiator mencapai nilai optimum pada kecepatan kipas 6,5 m/s dengan nilai efektivitas sebesar 0,598.

Abstract

Mitra is a group of IRT Cassava Chips. According to the results of observations and interviews with the head of the IRT Cassava Chips group, Mrs. Fajar Apriana, said that the cassava chips made by this home business are still not good in appearance or taste, especially since the packaging is still simple. The shape of the cassava chips is not yet homogeneous, they are still big, small and thick and thin because they still use a manual slicing tool. Initially in Suro Village there were around 18 home industries that made cassava chips, but because the products were not selling well on the market, many of them went out of business and turned to farm laborers. The average production of this home industry is around 10 kg/day. They leave them in stalls and some sell them directly to the market. Even though the business has been around for a long time, it has not been able to develop optimally, the cassava chip production activity has not been able to meet all consumer demand. This is because the equipment is still manual, resulting in soreness, fatigue and less ergonomic posture of workers. The aim of this activity is a) to help the Suro Village Cassava Chips Housewife Group get the right and legal capital free from loan sharks b) to create a comfortable environment for workers so that it affects their work productivity and c) helps improve their products, their marketing strategies are appropriate and digitally based, they are also halal certified or PIRT certified. IbM outputs are scientific articles that will be published in National Journals as mandatory outputs, articles published on social media , activity videos and Copyright as additional output.

Abstract

Background: Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) Tooop Rasa merupakan IRT yang memiliki berbagai usaha produksi olahan pangan, salah satunya adalah keripik kentang. Produk ini termasuk produk unggulan dengan bahan baku yang melimpah dan kontinu. Namun, pembuatan keripik kentang belum mengaplikasikan prinsip Cara Produksi Pangan Olahan yang Baik (CPPOB) dan produk belum bersertifikat halal. Kegiatan pembinaan IRT ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi atau pelatihan CPPOB dan bahan pangan halal agar produk berkualitas baik dan dapat meningkatkan daya saing. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan partisipatoris dengan tahap kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Tingkat keberhasilan program diukur dengan metode one group pre-test and post-test. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 87,50% anggota mitra memahami dan mampu mengimplementasikan CPPOB, dan 85,00% anggota mitra memahami dan mampu mengimplementasikan tentang bahan pangan halal. Produk keripik kentang telah didampingi dalam pengajuan sertifikasi halal. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian telah berhasil memberikan edukasi atau pelatihan CPPOB dan bahan pangan halal yang berimplikasi positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra. Produk keripik kentang yang dihasilkan berkualitas baik dan memenuhi kriteria sesuai SNI 4031:2018, yaitu bau, rasa, tekstur, dan penampakan normal, salah satunya ditandai dengan warna kuning merata dan tekstur renyah. Selain itu, mitra telah berhasil mendapatkan sertifikat halal sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing.
