Abstract

Abstrak: Masyarakat Bertais Desa Murbaya memiliki tingkat perkonomian yang baik (menengah keatas) dengan rata-rata mata pencarian (berpengahasilan) dari pertanian pengusaha dan sebagian PNS. Masyarakat bertais 100% beragama Islam dan memiliki jiwa religius serta sosial keagamaan yang cukup baik, dengan menjalankan perintah Allah, mendirikan sholat lima waktu, melaksanakan sholat jum‟at dimasjid (laki-laki), mengadakan dan mengikuti kajian-kajian, serta sangat aktif dapat mengelola sosial keagamaan  desa dengan baik.. Peneliti melakukan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif di masjid Riadhlus Sholihin dusun Bertais Desa Murbaya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Efektifitas Bimbingan Fiqih Manasik Haji dan Umroh di Masjid Riadhlus Sholihin Bertais Lendang Kelor Desa Murbaya Kecamatan Pringgarata sangat efektif dan sebagai solusi belajar nyata bagi masyarakat yang hendak melaksanakan ibadah haji ataupun umroh, Hal ini terlihat dari persentase sample yang diuji pada umumnya mengetahui secara garis besar tentang kewajiban melaksanakan ibadah haji, hal-hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan mereka mampu menjawab tiap-tiap pertanyaan seperti pengetahuan tentang haji dan umrah, perbedaan, hukum, waktu pelaksanaan, rukun, hukum dan penerapan, syarat wajib, serta keutamaan yang didapatkan bagi orang-orang yang melaksanakan ibadah haji mereka telah dapat menafsirkan, atau dapat menjabarkan dengan memberikan suatu jawaban dengan menghubungkan pengetahuan-pengetahuan yang dimiliki dimana peneliti menemukan hasil analisa bahwa masyarakat dapat menghubungkan pembahasan pengetahuan tentang kewajiban melaksanakan ibadah haji, mereka dapat memberikan suatu titik pokok atau inti dalam sebuah pembahasan.Abstract: The Bertais community of Murbaya Village has a good economic level (medium to above) with an average livelihood (income) from the agriculture of entrepreneurs and some civil servants. The community is 100% Muslim and has a fairly good religious and socio-religious spirit, by carrying out the commands of Allah, establishing five-time prayers, carrying out Friday prayers in the mosque (men), holding and participating in studies, and being very active in managing the village's socio-religious well. Researchers conducted field research with a descriptive qualitative approach at the Riadhlus Sholihin mosque in Bertais hamlet of Murbaya Village. The results show that the effectiveness of the Manasik Hajj and Umrah Fiqih Guidance at the Riadhlus Sholihin Bertais Lendang Kelor Mosque, Murbaya Village, Pringgarata District, is very effective and as a real learning solution for people who want to carry out hajj or Umrah, This can be seen from the percentage of samples tested generally knowing in general about the obligation to carry out the Hajj, these things are evidenced by them being able to answer each question such as knowledge about Hajj and Umrah, differences, laws, timing of execution, harmony, law and application, mandatory conditions, and virtues obtained for those who perform the pilgrimage they have been able to interpret, or can describe By providing an answer by connecting the knowledge possessed where researchers find the results of the analysis that the community can relate the discussion of knowledge about the obligation to carry out the Hajj, they can provide a point or core point in a discussion.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the responses of non-Muslim students to AIK (Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan) learning materials and the factors behind their responses to AIK learning. This quantitative field research applied a case study model where the respondents and the sample in this study were non-Muslim students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) University of Muhammadiyah Mataram (UMMAT), which were taken through a systemic purposive sampling. After that, the data collection was carried out using closed and mixed questionnaires. Then all data were analyzed using percentile descriptive statistical analysis techniques and drawn to a conclusion using deduction and induction methods. The results of this study were first: the response of non-Muslim students to Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) learning materials was very positive by attending all meetings held by AIK lecturers, both online and offline meetings. This is evidenced by the data processing results showing that the majority of students stated that they were satisfied as much as 62%, while 8% said they were very satisfied, and as many as 30% said they were quite satisfied. Second, the factors behind the response of non-Muslim students to AIK learning are: 1) campus policies that require all students, both Muslim and non-Muslim, to take AIK courses, 2) awareness that arises in students to know Islam more even though in the end it did not become their belief, 3), the desire to realize the nature of religious tolerance in fellow students on the UMMAT campus.

Abstract

This study focuses on exploring Islamic values, the characteristics of educators, and the concept of Islamic education through the analysis of the book "Kitab At Tarbiyah Al Amaliyah" by KH Imam Zarkasyi. The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach through a literature review, involving in-depth exploration and analysis of the content of the book as the primary source. The findings of the research indicate that Zarkasyi's thoughts on Islamic education emphasize Islamic values as the primary foundation in shaping the character and behavior of educators. The educator's qualities described in the book, such as sincerity, patience, and integrity, serve as practical guidelines for guiding students. Islamic education in Zarkasyi's concept not only encompasses academic dimensions but also represents a process of forming a resilient character. This research contributes to understanding the relevance of Islamic values in the context of modern education and how the concept of Islamic education can be effectively implemented. The research's conclusions and recommendations provide a foundation for further studies related to the implementation of Islamic values in educational practices and the adaptation of traditional educational methods to technological developments. Abstract

Communication allows individuals to express feelings, emotions, and opinions. Without communication, it would not be possible for the process of social interaction to occur, either individually or in groups. This study explored the communication method for memorizing short surahs, especially Juz Amma, at Taman Pendidikan Quran (the Quranic school). This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach in the field, where data collection is through observation, interviews, and documentation, which then involves three components of data analysis used, namely the Miles and Huberman interactive model approach, which includes the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and concluding. This study was conducted by collecting data from 10 ustadz and 30 students who were memorizing Juz Amma within a data collection period of six months, from January to June 2024. The results of this study found that the communication methods in memorizing short surahs, especially Juz Amma in the Quran education park, are divided into four, namely 1) Verbal communication, where the ustadz and ustadzah act as communicators who convey messages and the students as communicants who receive messages and respond to messages, such as pronouncing Juz Amma verses, questions and answers about tajwid learning, and delivering sermons. 2) Non-verbal communication, kinesis (body language); through eye contact, touch, gesture, posture, emotion, facial expression, and paralinguistic (vocal); through voice quality, volume, and speed of voice when the learning and memorization process takes place. 3) Steps before memorizing Juz Amma, such as sincere intentions, managing time, and learning tajwid and Tahsin. 4) Using the correct method according to the abilities of the students, namely, the wahdah method (repeating), and the jama’ method (reading together).

Abstract

Bullying in higher education is a problem that often goes unnoticed, even though it has a serious impact on students' mental health and academic climate. Islamic Religious Education has great potential in shaping character and preventing deviant behavior, but its role in the context of bullying prevention has not been studied in depth. Therefore, this study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education in preventing bullying in higher education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research explores students' experiences, perceptions, and attitudes towards learning Islamic Religious Education as an effort to build religious and social character. The research informants amounted to 15 Islamic Religious Education lecturers, and 97 students from three faculties at Muhammadiyah Mataram University, selected through purposive sampling technique to represent the diversity of academic backgrounds. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and review of current scientific literature (2018-2024). Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model, through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education learning that integrates Islamic values, religious moderation approach, and participatory methods are able to raise students' awareness of the importance of tolerance, empathy, and justice. The internalization of these values plays a significant role in shaping inclusive social behavior and reducing the potential for bullying. Data validity is strengthened through source triangulation, while reliability is maintained with a systematic audit trail. The findings recommend strengthening the Islamic Religious Education curriculum based on anti-bullying values as part of the student character building strategy in higher education. Highlights: Islamic Education Shapes Character – It fosters tolerance, empathy, and justice to reduce bullying. Participatory and Moderation-Based Methods – Effective in promoting inclusive social behavior among students. Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran Pendidikan Agama Islam  dalam mencegah terjadinya bullying di perguruan tinggi, dengan fokus pada komunikasi dosen dalam proses pembelajaran. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan 15 dosen dan 97 mahasiswa dari tiga fakultas di Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan melalui purposive sampling untuk menjamin keragaman perspektif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur yang relevan, dengan analisis menggunakan metode reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Triangulasi sumber digunakan untuk memastikan validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang melibatkan nilai-nilai religius, pendekatan moderasi beragama, serta penguatan karakter dapat mencegah tindakan bullying. Mindmap digunakan untuk memetakan dimensi variabel penelitian, seperti nilai religius, pendekatan pembelajaran, dan konteks sosial-budaya, yang saling terkait dalam membentuk kesadaran moral mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pengembangan strategi pencegahan bullying di perguruan tinggi melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pendidikan tinggi. Abstract:This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education  in preventing bullying in higher education, focusing on lecturer communication in the learning process. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved 15 lecturers and 97 students from three faculties at Muhammadiyah Mataram University. Sample selection was done through purposive sampling to ensure diversity of perspectives. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and study of relevant literature, with analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing methods. Source triangulation was used to ensure data validity. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education learning that involves religious values, religious moderation approach, and character strengthening can prevent bullying. Mindmaps were used to map the dimensions of the research variables, such as religious values, learning approaches, and socio-cultural contexts, which are interrelated in shaping students' moral awareness. This research makes an important contribution to the development of bullying prevention strategies in higher education through the integration of Islamic Religious Education values in higher education.

Abstract

Perkembangan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam transformasi berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh implementasi AI terhadap metode pembelajaran di sekolah, dengan fokus pada manfaat, tantangan, dan implikasi bagi tenaga pendidik serta peserta didik. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis konseptual, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penerapan AI dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan personalisasi proses belajar, efisiensi evaluasi, serta memperluas akses terhadap sumber belajar. Di sisi lain, penerapan AI juga memunculkan tantangan berupa ketimpangan akses teknologi, potensi ketergantungan pada sistem otomatisasi, serta isu etika terkait privasi dan penggunaan data siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan strategis dan kebijakan yang tepat, pemanfaatan AI berpotensi mendukung terwujudnya model pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif, inklusif, dan berbasis data di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik pembelajaran berbasis AI yang berorientasi pada penguatan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

General Background: Learning technology has become a pivotal tool in enhancing educational quality, particularly in the digital era. Specific Background: In Islamic Religious Education (PAI), the shift from conventional methods to digital learning tools such as videos and PowerPoint presentations promises more interactive and meaningful instruction. Knowledge Gap: However, studies evaluating the effectiveness and inclusiveness of learning technologies in elementary-level Islamic education remain limited, especially for diverse student needs and under-resourced schools. Aims: This study investigates the urgency and effectiveness of learning technology in improving elementary students' absorption of Islamic Religious Education materials. Results: Using a qualitative case study at SD Negeri 3 Kekait, findings show that digital media improves student engagement and understanding of abstract spiritual values, although limitations in teacher digital skills and support for students with special needs persist. Novelty: The study highlights the integration of spiritual values through visual media and emphasizes adaptive strategies for inclusivity, offering fresh insights into character education in religious contexts. Implications: These results suggest the necessity for professional development and infrastructure support to maximize the pedagogical potential of digital technology, ultimately contributing to the formation of students' moral character and improving Islamic education in the digital age.Highlight : Learning technology (videos, PowerPoint) increases student engagement and understanding in Islamic Religious Education at the elementary level. Barriers include limited teacher digital skills and infrastructure challenges in schools. Technology helps internalize spiritual values through visual storytelling, enhancing character education. Abstract

Improving the professional competence of educators is crucial in enhancing the quality of education. However, many educational institutions still face challenges in consistently implementing development strategies, especially in integrating pedagogical, technological, and managerial skills to meet global demands. This study aims to explore educator development strategies to improve professional competence at Bani Hasyim Islamic Junior High School, Singosari, Malang. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews with the school principal, three vice principals, the head of the national exam committee, and teachers of Indonesian, English, Arabic, and Islamic Religious Education. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal three key strategies: (1) Educational Strategy, offering free higher education for teachers; (2) Training Strategy, structured in three levels-Level I for new teachers, Level II for quality improvement, and Level III for prospective vice principals; and (3) Responsibility Internalization Strategy, aimed at building a professional attitude and commitment. These strategies are expected to enhance curriculum relevance, learning quality, and educator readiness in facing global educational challenges. Future research should expand the scope to other educational levels and examine the role of technology integration in educator development outcomes.
