Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects at school that plays an important role in everyday life. Mathematics learning can be connected to its application in technology and life so that students can view mathematics as a meaningful science. Learning difficulties occur because students consider mathematics to be a difficult and scary subject. This qualitative research aims to determine the difficulties in learning mathematics with time unit material experienced by students, the causes of difficulties in learning mathematics with time unit material. When teaching mathematics, a person's character and disposition can be fostered or developed. This happens because studying mathematics can improve concentration, develop abilities, express opinions briefly and think rationally in making perfect decisions. Low learning is evidence of difficulties in students' learning, in this case the teacher is a responsible person who should be able to understand the difficulties experienced by students.

Abstract

This study examines parental divorce's impact on elementary school children at MI Hidayatul Islam Clarak. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews and observations. The subjects of this research are 10 students from MI Hidayatul Islam Clarak, one teacher, and two student guardians. The student subjects were selected from families who have experienced divorce. The age range of the research subjects is between 7 and 12 years old, corresponding to elementary school age. The results indicate that following a divorce, most children tend to live with their mothers, while only a few live with their fathers. Additionally, it is not uncommon for children after a divorce to be taken in by one of their grandmothers and enrolled in an elementary school, such as MI Hidayatul Islam, where the research was conducted. Research findings indicate that the impact of parental divorce on students' character can be observed primarily in psychological dimensions. Emotionally, children often experience feelings of loss, confusion, and even anxiety due to changes in family support, especially when they live only with their mother or other relatives, such as a grandmother. This limited parental presence may lead to a perceived lack of attention or support from their father, affecting their emotional stability. Psychologically, children may face identity crises and become more vulnerable to issues like prolonged insecurity or depression, which can have long-term effects on their character development and behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti efektivitas metode pembelajaran Jigsaw, salah satu bentuk cooperative learning, dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi kolaboratif siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Penelitian menggunakan Pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dengan melibatkan dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Jigsaw dan kelompok kontrol yang menjalani pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional.Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala Likert, yang berfungsi untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi kolaboratif pada kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol.Skor rata-rata post-test kelompok eksperimen mencapai 85,35 Lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol yang mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar. 76,50. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov 2 Independent Samples. mengonfirmasi bahwa metode Jigsaw efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa metode pembelajaran berbasis cooperative learning, khususnya Jigsaw, dapat memfasilitasi peningkatan komunikasi dan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

Era Society 5.0 memperkenalkan paradigma baru yang mengintegrasikan teknologi canggih seperti Internet of Things (IoT), kecerdasan buatan (AI), dan big data dengan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan untuk menciptakan keseimbangan antara kemajuan teknologi dan kesejahteraan sosial. Dalam konteks pendidikan dasar Islam, Society 5.0 menawarkan peluang signifikan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pembelajaran interaktif dan aksesibilitas yang lebih luas. Namun, tantangan besar juga muncul, termasuk kesenjangan teknologi, resistensi budaya, dan kebutuhan untuk memastikan integrasi teknologi tetap sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) memegang peran strategis sebagai agen perubahan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang inovatif dan berkarakter Islami. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research) dengan analisis deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara pendidikan Islam dan Society 5.0, serta peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi mahasiswa PGMI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan pelatihan profesional, literasi digital Islami, dan pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, mahasiswa PGMI dapat menjadi pemimpin transformasi pendidikan Islam di era Society 5.0. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mencakup pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung adopsi teknologi dan strategi pelatihan inovatif bagi mahasiswa PGMI untuk menjembatani nilai-nilai tradisional dengan teknologi modern.

Abstract

A teacher, not just having the main activities and duties but as a teacher, also has another task that is no less important, known as a student of knowledge. Teaching is a routine activity and is normal for a teacher, but as a student of knowledge, a teacher is required to always improve his knowledge and abilities through writing a scientific paper. Writing scientific papers has several stages that must be passed, especially those used to raise the school's brand image. The Community Service Program which was carried out at the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership propaganda building in Probolinggo City was attended by 20 participants who were teachers who taught at Muhammadiyah schools ranging from elementary schools to high schools throughout the city of Probolinggo. The method used in this service is through seminars, namely by providing knowledge through lectures, discussions and questions and answers. The results of the seminars conducted showed that there was an increase in understanding, insight, and knowledge in planning, implementing and preparing materials for writing scientific papers. To write scientific papers, a teacher really needs to do plan management, time management, and evaluation management so that they can deal with busy teaching and various other additional tasks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Bamboozle dalam pembelajaran matematika terhadap pemahaman konsep dasar matematika siswa kelas III MI Miftahul Huda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain Posttest-Only Control Group. Sampel terdiri dari 44 siswa, yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan aplikasi Bamboozle dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan kuesioner serta diuji menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai post-test kelompok eksperimen (80,91) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol (63,64), dengan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik (p = 0,000). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Bamboozle dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar matematika siswa secara signifikan. Penggunaan Bamboozle yang berbasis gamifikasi dan interaktif menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa, yang berdampak positif pada pemahaman mereka terhadap materi matematika. Penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa aplikasi berbasis teknologi, seperti Bamboozle, dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi peran guru dalam membina nilai keagamaan dan sosial pada siswa kelas III di SD Badrut Tamam Wonoasih, Kota Probolinggo. Nilai religius dan sosial memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa sejak dini. Oleh karena itu, guru berperan sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, dan teladan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan pelatihan nilai-nilai keagamaan melalui berbagai kegiatan, seperti pembiasaan doa sebelum dan sesudah belajar, membaca Al-Qur'an, serta menanamkan sikap sopan santun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sementara itu, nilai sosial dikembangkan melalui gotong royong, kerja sama kelompok, serta sikap tolong-menolong di lingkungan sekolah. Faktor pendukung implementasi ini meliputi kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung pendidikan karakter, keterlibatan orang tua, serta lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran. Namun ditemukan beberapa kendala, seperti perbedaan latar belakang siswa dalam memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai tersebut serta keterbatasan waktu dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembiasaan. Kesimpulannya, peran guru sangat penting dalam membina nilai keagamaan dan sosial siswa melalui pendekatan keteladanan, pembiasaan, dan integrasi nilai dalam pembelajaran. Sinergi antara sekolah, guru, dan orang tua diperlukan agar pelatihan nilai-nilai tersebut dapat berjalan optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research explores strategies to increase technological awareness among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Wonomerto through the utilization of digital media. This research aims to fill the void of studies on teachers' technological awareness in the madrasah context by using a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study design applied, involving observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis for two months (May-June 2025). Data were obtained directly through semi-structured interview techniques, open-ended questionnaires, and review of relevant documents, and then analyzed using an interactive model. The results show four main findings: First, awareness arising from practical needs in the classroom, second, the contribution of internal learning communities in accelerating technology adoption, third, structural challenges along with adaptive response mechanisms, and fourth, the insertion of Islamic values in digital materials. The findings show that the combination of collaborative practices, locally developed innovations and reinforcement of moral values plays an important role in building teachers' confidence in supporting the sustainable use of technology. In conclusion, the integration of these three elements forms the foundation for a resilient and effective digital learning ecosystem

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategy of using Augmented Reality (AR)-based interactive learning media in improving the understanding of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) concepts in grade V students at MI Miftahul Ulum Kanigaran. The method used was a qualitative case study with participants consisting of one experienced AR user teacher and eight students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and focus group discussions, then analyzed inducively following a cycle of data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results show that AR acts as a conceptual bridge that facilitates multisensory meaning, so that misconceptions of IPAS concepts can be minimized through three-dimensional visualization and instant feedback. An effective strategy includes three stages: (1) integrated planning, where teachers align AR modules with students' learning needs; (2) collaborative implementation, optimizing group discussions based on AR experience; and (3) structured reflection through the presentation of findings and peer feedback. Nonetheless, device and internet connection limitations and instructional design challenges are obstacles that require managerial support and ongoing training. This study concludes that the integration of AR with a targeted strategy and adequate infrastructure support can drive pedagogical transformation towards 21st century science learning in madrasah ibtidaiyah

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the meaning and application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) by teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum, Probolinggo Regency, as an effort to integrate Islamic values into the learning process. With a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observations, as well as analysis of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and teacher evaluation notes. The findings show that teachers use PBL as a contextual space to instill the principles of ta'awun, tawakkal, honesty, and responsibility in each stage of problem-solving that is close to the student's experience. Reflective approaches and dialogical discussions accompanied by the integration of Qur'anic verses and hadith have been proven to improve students' critical thinking skills while strengthening their spiritual awareness. The main obstacles identified are limited technological facilities and infrastructure, high administrative burden, and lack of special training for teachers. This study also highlights the active role of students in designing solutions and the influence of PBL on their learning motivation. Therefore, it is recommended to provide continuous intensive training for educators, adjust curriculum policies more flexibly, improve supporting facilities, and establish a community of practice between teachers. This step is expected to support the consistency of PBL implementation, improve the quality of learning outcomes, and form students' religious character holistically. The results of the research are expected to support the development of a more contextual madrasah curriculum
