Abstract

The challenges and development of education in Indonesia are getting bigger considering the rapid changes in the times. Evaluation is one of the competencies and a series of learning steps that a teacher must master and also aims to understand the basic concept of evaluation and its implications in evaluating Islamic Religious Education learning. Assessing learning through essay tests allows for a more in-depth assessment of students' understanding and skills. Essay tests give students the opportunity to present their thoughts and arguments in detail, allowing teachers to assess understanding of concepts more holistically. This article uses qualitative methods and approaches the study of book literature and previous research journals. The results of this research are that there are efforts to support the quality of education by holding good and correct evaluations and various choices to suit the type of learning. In this case, the essay test evaluation is a critical and more descriptive evaluation instrument.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an becomes easy when finding a suitable method to facilitate the memorization process. This study aims to describe the method memorization method used in the house of tahfidzul qur'an al-hijaz namely ar-Rasyid method as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the method. the method. This research uses qualitative research with phenomenological type. The research subjects are santri Ali and utsman classes. The data collection method uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis analysis which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. conclusion. The results showed that the ar-Rashid method is a combination of the sima'I and talaqqi methods. a combination of the sima'I and talaqqi methods, namely the students add new memorization by listening to the audio murottal given by the teacher and then memorizing the audio murottal given by the teacher. by listening to the murottal audio given by the teacher then repeating the verses and talaqqi. repeating verses and depositing directly to the ustadz to be corrected directly. corrected directly. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi metode bin-nadzar dalam pembelajaran tahfidz di SMPIT Ar-Rahmah Pacitan kelas VIII grade B tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik penggumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang pertama yaitu terdapat perencanaan penerapan metode bin-nadzar yang ditandai dengan adanya pengelompokan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta adanya penyusunan rencana kegiatan pembelajaran seperti silabus dan RPP. Kedua, pelaksanaan metode bin-nadzar dalam pembelajaran tahfidz ini ditunjukkan melalui kegiatan pendahuluan dengan membaca do’a belajar. Lalu dilanjutkan kegiatan inti dengan melaksanaan hafalan tambahan serta muroja’ah dengan membaca dan melihat mushaf Al-Qur’an secara mandiri yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan setoran kepada guru pengampu. Terakhir yaitu kegiatan penutup, dilaksanakan dengan penyampaian evaluasi dan motivasi. Kemudian hasil yang ketiga, terdapat faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi metode bin-nadzar. Adapun faktor pendukung meliputi: 1) adanya perencanaan pembelajaran. 2) rasa semangat pada diri siswa. 3) tingkat kecerdasan siswa. 4) kondisi psikologi siswa. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu meliputi: 1) rasa malas dan kurangnya motivasi pada diri siswa. 2) tingkat kecerdasan yang kurang dari beberapa siswa.

Abstract

This study investigates how psychomotor domain evaluation contributes to enhancing high-level skills in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Gemolong. Psychomotor evaluation, encompassing physical skills and activities, plays a vital role in helping students understand religious principles theoretically and apply them in daily life. Observation, interviews, and documentation served as the primary tools in this qualitative and descriptive research. The findings reveal that psychomotor evaluation aids students in developing Islamic skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Students also benefit from evaluation methods like observation, practice tests, and simulations. This study is expected to provide practical recommendations for improving the quality of PAI learning and establishing a comprehensive evaluation system. Furthermore, it aims to assist teachers in shaping students with both academic competence and practical skills.

Abstract

Leadership is one of the important forces in achieving the goals of an educational institution. In the school environment, a person who is appointed to be a leader in the school environment is the principal. The principal as a leader has duties and responsibilities that he carries, including the principal must be able to guide, control, and direct his subordinates to carry out the tasks that are his responsibility. The principal is a role model, he must be at the forefront of various things, in terms of discipline, in terms of the term progressivity related to work. Besides that, which is no less important, now the principal is also an innovator. Namely, making updates, breakthroughs and innovations to develop the school he leads to achieve the goals he wants.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in carrying out summative evaluations of students at SMK Negeri 6 Sukoharjo. This research uses descriptive methods in a qualitative context, collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The focus of this research is the role of teachers in implementing summative evaluations, while the research subject is one of the PAI teachers at the school. The research results show that teachers not only function as evaluators, but also as motivators. As an evaluator, the teacher must be able to assess students' abilities during the learning process. Summative evaluation is one of the mechanisms used to determine student abilities at the end of the learning period. This evaluation is carried out at the end of the learning cycle, usually through a mid-semester exam (PTS) or final semester exam (PAS). Apart from that, summative evaluation also provides important insight into the successes and shortcomings in the educational process to achieve the stated goals.

Abstract

The affective domain plays a critical role in shaping students’ character and religious values, especially in Islamic-based educational institutions. In Muhammadiyah schools, Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) learning integrates cognitive understanding with affective development. This study aims to explore how the affective domain is evaluated in AIK learning, the challenges encountered, and the potential of technology-based solutions to enhance assessment practices. A qualitative field study was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta using a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with six school stakeholders, non-participant classroom observations, document analysis, and a supporting quantitative survey involving 52 students and 40 parents. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, ensuring triangulation across sources. The findings reveal that affective evaluation is primarily conducted through behavioral observation of religious practices and daily interactions, supported by parent-teacher collaboration. The use of e-report systems enables real-time tracking of student character development and fosters transparency with parents. Key challenges include diverse student backgrounds, varying levels of family support, and limited digital literacy among some stakeholders. This study highlights the importance of structured, continuous, and collaborative approaches to affective domain evaluation. Technology, when supported by adequate training and infrastructure, can enhance efficiency and consistency in character assessment. The integration of digital tools and the exploration of artificial intelligence (AI) for affective analysis are recommended for future implementation.

Abstract

The era of globalization and rapid technological advancements has transformed the education sector by offering new opportunities and challenges. Technology-based learning requires educators to continuously enhance their digital competencies to ensure effectiveness in the learning process. This study employs a literature review method to examine the application of game-based media as an innovation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Data were collected from reputable academic sources such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and other scientific databases. The findings indicate that the integration of educational games in PAI learning significantly improves students’ learning motivation, strengthens their understanding of religious concepts, and fosters critical thinking skills through interactive and engaging activities. Moreover, game-based learning contributes positively to character development by reinforcing moral and spiritual values within the learning process. Therefore, digital educational games serve as a promising learning innovation that supports the improvement of Islamic Education quality in the digital era.

Abstract

AbstrakMinimnya pengajar membaca Al-Qur’an pada kaum LANSIA WNI di Rumah Dakwah Gombak Malaysia, terjadi karena kebudayaan-kebudayaan setempat yang tidak mendukung dalam menumbuhkan motivasi keagamaan. hal tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya ruh beragama dan pengetahuan agama kaum LANSIA. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari banyaknya kaum LANSIA yang belum bisa membaca Al-Quran. Dengan demikian perlu adanya upaya-upaya kongkrit bagaimana membantu mitra mengurai permasalahan yang ada pada kaum LANSIA dan ibu-ibu ‘Aisyiyah Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Muhammadiyah Malaysia dalam pembinaan membaca Al-Quran dengan metode Tsaqifa melalui usaha rintisan kelompok belajar senior school. Tujuan dilaksanakan PkM ini untuk (1) Memberikan pelatihan/workshop pada ibu-ibu ‘Aisyiyah tentang metode Tsaqifa sebagai metode membaca Al-Quran bagi kaum LANSIA (2) Memberikan pelatihan Aisyiyah di Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah (PCIA) Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Malaysia sebagai kaderisasi berkelanjutan dalam mengajar  Al-Quran pada LANSIA dengan menggunakan metode Tsaqifa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR) merupakan pendekatan yang prosesnya bertujuan untuk pembelajaran dalam mengatasi masalah dan pemenuhan kebutuhan praktis masyarakat, serta produksi ilmu pengetahuan. Kegiatan dilakukan selama satu bulan. Mitra kegiatan adalah Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa ’Aisyiyah Malaysia dengan sasaran kegiatan ibu-ibu LANSIA di Rumah Dakwah Gombak Malaysia. Hasil dari evaluasi yang dilakukan, banyak ibu LANSIA yang merasa terbantu dengan adanya metode pembelajaran Tsaqifa. Meski dalam pelaksanaannya banyak kendala yang masih perlu ada perbaikan bagi pengabdi berikutnya. Kata Kunci: Al-Quran; metode Tsaqifa; lansia. AbstractThe lack of Qur'an recitation teachers for the elderly Indonesian citizens at the Rumah Dakwah Gombak Malaysia, occurs because of local cultures that are not supportive in fostering religious motivation. this has an impact on the low religious spirit and religious knowledge of the elderly. This can be seen from the number of elderly people who cannot read the Koran. Thus, there is a need for concrete efforts to help partners unravel the problems that exist in the elderly and mothers of ‘Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah Malaysia Special Branch in fostering reading the Koran with the Tsaqifa method through the pilot efforts of the senior school study group. The objectives of this PkM are to (1) Provide training/workshops for ‘Aisyiyah mothers on the Tsaqifa method as a method of reading the Quran for the elderly (2) Provide Aisyiyah training at the Special Branch of Muhammadiyah ’Aisyiyah (PCIA) Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Malaysia as a sustainable regeneration in teaching the Quran to the elderly using the Tsaqifa method. The research method used Participatory Action Research (PAR), an approach whose process aims at learning to solve problems and fulfil the practical needs of the community, as well as the production of knowledge. Activities were carried out for one month. The activity partner was the Special Branch of ‘Aisyiyah Malaysia with the target of the activities of LANSIA mothers at the Gombak Malaysia Da'wah House. As a result of the evaluation, many LANSIA mothers felt helped by the Tsaqifa learning method. Although in its implementation there are many obstacles that still need improvement for the next servant. Keywords: Al-Quran; Tsaqifa method; elderly.
