Abstract

Pelajaran matematika sering dianggap sebagai salah satu materi yang paling kompleks dan sulit dipahami, yang dapat menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji sejauh mana penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar matematika. Penelitian ini termasuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang diadakan di SD Negeri Kebonsari 1 Tuban pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025, dengan subjek penelitian 29 siswa kelas IV. Dengan mengikuti model spiral Kemmis dan McTaggart, penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan angket motivasi belajar, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan secara jelas peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai yang naik dari 78,66 (72,41%) pada Siklus I menjadi 85,78 (86,20%) pada Siklus II, yang telah memenuhi persentase minimal. Model TGT berhasil menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik, interaktif, dan kompetitif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, model TGT direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan perilaku kerjasama peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas VI UPT SD Negeri Kebonsari I Tuban. Berdasarkan observasi, ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah yang bersifat satu arah kurang mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan peserta didik dengan gaya belajar kinestetik, sehingga banyak peserta didik yang kesulitan dalam menyerap materi secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model STAD yang melibatkan aktivitas kolaboratif dalam kelompok menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kerjasama peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang masing-masing terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada siklus pertama, peserta didik dibagi dalam kelompok untuk berdiskusi dan mengerjakan Lembar Kerja Kelompok (LKK), namun hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama dalam kelompok masih rendah. Pada siklus kedua, dilakukan modifikasi dengan mengganti LKK dengan kegiatan menempel puzzle yang lebih menarik dan interaktif, yang terbukti meningkatkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada perilaku kerjasama peserta didik setelah modifikasi media pembelajaran dilakukan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model STAD yang didukung dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan sesuai dengan gaya belajar peserta didik, efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku kerjasama dan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi guru untuk mempertimbangkan model pembelajaran yang berbasis kolaborasi dan media yang menarik agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan media video dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas I SD Negeri Kebonsari 1 Tuban. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest dan posttest. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 28 siswa kelas I, di mana setiap siswa mengikuti dua tahap pengujian, yaitu tes awal (pretest) untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman sebelum intervensi pembelajaran, dan tes akhir (posttest) untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman setelah pembelajaran menggunakan media video. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai rata-rata siswa setelah menggunakan media video dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebelum intervensi, hanya 15 siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Namun, setelah pembelajaran berbasis video diterapkan, jumlah siswa yang memenuhi KKM meningkat menjadi 25 siswa. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa media video berperan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan media video dapat menjadi salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar media video digunakan secara luas dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai alat bantu untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan bermakna.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the blood smear profile of male white rats after treatment with various doses of stigmasterol from Pluchea indica leaves. The experimental study used the post-test control design group. The study was conducted in the several accredited laboratories in Malang and Bandung cities. The study was conducted from June to September 2024. The research sample of stigmasterol from P. indica leaves came from the UPT materia medica of Batu City. The sampling technique was purposive random sampling. Three doses of stigmasterol (0.125 mg/kg bw, 0.25 mg/kg bw, 0.5 mg/kg bw), and control (aquades) with seven replications. Observations of preparations for each treatment group used a binocular microscope. Photos of the observation results were analyzed for cell shape, and the number of visible white blood cells was calculated. Data analysis used one-way ANOVA and Duncan’s further test. The results showed a stigmasterol dose hadtigmasteroland number of erythrocytes in the blood of white rats. The findings of this study were that dose 3 (0.5 mg/kg bw) had the lowest number of leukocytes, and further research is needed as a safe dose of the stigmasterol compound in P. indica leaves, which has the potential as a natural antifertility drug.

Abstract

One of the efforts that teachers can undertake to strengthen their professionalism as educators is writing scientific papers and teaching materials. This study aims to analyze knowledge and scientific performance competency in designing and carrying out Classroom Action Research of the teachers in SMP Muhammadiyah 8, Batu City. This study was descriptive study. This study was conducted from July to November 2022. The population and samples of this study were the teachers of Batu City Middle Schools. The procedures of this study encompassed preparation and research implementation. The number of respondents was 30 teachers. Interviews and questionnaires were used as the data collection procedures of this study. The knowledge aspects studied from the teacher's scientific performance competence were formulating appropriate research problems, developing a literature study framework, compiling a conceptual framework, and analyzing research results data. The data analysis technique used in this study was a descriptive-analytic by describing the findings of the study. The results of this study indicate that: that experience in the form of undergraduate education background is higher (66.76%) than master (33.38%); being a teacher for less than 15 years or less (33.00%), over 15 years is 67.00%; experience doing research is 83.00% and performance competency knowledge in the field of scientific work of Batu City Middle School teachers is in the sufficient and good categories. This study recommends that correlation analysis (correlation regression) is required between the professionalism aspect, particularly in terms of teacher scientific field performance, and assistance is needed to improve teachers’ competencies thru collaborative academic activities between lecturers and teachers in schools; one of the activities is thru a Lecturer Partnership Program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of project-based learning on digital literacy skills and concept understanding in an online-basedflipped classroom environment. Methods used by researchers quantitative research methods. The methodological steps used by researchers are. First, researchers designed a learning design that is in accordance with the concept of PBL and online-based flipped classrooms. The research location is at STKIP PGRI Situbondo. For the population and research sample, researchers used a saturated sample of 105 students. Next, the data will be collected using test instruments. Instrument trials include: validity, reliability, difficulty, and differentiating power and continue with hypothesis testing. The results of this study are based on the results of the analysis and discussion of Project-Based Learning (PBL) learning methods that affect digital literacy skills and concept understanding in an online-based flipped classroom environment with a score of 0. 02 and 0. 03 < 0.05 then it can be concluded that there is an influence of variable X on variables Y1 and Y2. These findings also prove temporarily that PBL is suitable for use in learning through the digital world, in accordance with the main purpose of PBL whichprioritizes constructivist learning which involves the use of classical and digital books and activities in the field.

Abstract

Natural Sciences is the study of natural phenomena. In science learning, students are expected to have scientific knowledge, high-level thinking, critical and creative thinking, so that they become independent learners. The purpose of this study was to describe students' critical thinking skills through environmental-based TPACK learning on the human motion system material. This research method is done by lesson study with 3 learning cycles. The results showed that TPACK learning can improve students' critical thinking, especially in identifying, linking, analyzing and concluding in this study the application of TPACK learning to improve thinking skills in categories can be very good.

Abstract

Soil-borne fungal pathogens represent a persistent threat to plant health due to their ability to colonize the rhizosphere and infect root systems, yet information on their diversity in non-industrial palm species remains limited. Siwalan (Borassus flabellifer L.) is a drought-tolerant palm of ecological and socio-economic importance, but its rhizospheric fungal communities have not been systematically characterized. This study aimed to (1) isolate soil-borne fungi from the rhizosphere of siwalan and (2) identify potential pathogenic fungi based on macroscopic and microscopic morphological characteristics. Rhizosphere soil samples were collected at depths of 5–20 cm and processed using the soil dilution plate method. Fungal isolates were cultured on potato dextrose agar (PDA), purified through subculturing, and identified using colony morphology and microscopic structures observed through slide culture and lactophenol cotton blue staining. Data were analyzed descriptively by comparing fungal traits with standard taxonomic determination keys. Five soil-borne fungal taxa were successfully isolated and identified, namely Aspergillus flavus, Trichoderma longibrachiatum, Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus caelatus, and Aspergillus niger. The isolates exhibited distinct differences in colony pigmentation, growth rate, hyphal structure, vesicle morphology, and conidial characteristics. Among them, A. niger showed the fastest radial growth and highest sporulation intensity, whereas T. longibrachiatum and A. oryzae exhibited relatively slower growth. These morphological variations indicate functional diversity and differing adaptive strategies among fungi inhabiting the siwalan rhizosphere. This study provides the first systematic morphological baseline of soil-borne fungi associated with the rhizosphere of B. flabellifer. The findings contribute novel information on fungal diversity in an underexplored palm species and highlight the importance of early fungal characterization as a foundation for future molecular identification, pathogenicity testing, and the development of sustainable disease management strategies for siwalan cultivation systems.
