Abstract

Background and Objective: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) with hemodialysis therapy is a condition of chronic kidney dysfunction that requires regular blood filtration procedures to replace declining kidney function. The World Health Organization (WHO, 2020) reports that the global prevalence of Chronic Kidney Disease reaches 10% of the population, while the number of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis is estimated at approximately 1.5 million worldwide, with an annual increase of 8%. Analyzing the application of Seft therapy on anxiety in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis in the hemodialysis room at RSD Gunung Jati Hospital in Cirebon City. Method: This study uses a descriptive approach based on the results of previous case studies. The instruments used were the palliative nursing care format and the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS). Results: SEFT therapy was administered over three sessions according to the hemodialysis schedule, resulting in a reduction in anxiety levels among chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis in the Hemodialysis Unit at RSD Gunung Jati Hospital in Cirebon City. Conclusion: The application of SEFT therapy has been proven to be beneficial in reducing anxiety levels in patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis procedures in the Hemodialysis Room of Gunung Jati Regional General Hospital, Cirebon City.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible decline in kidney function that causes the body to be unable to maintain metabolism and fluid and electrolyte balance, which can trigger hypervolemia. This study aims to investigate the application of fluid balance monitoring in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients with hypervolemia. Method: A descriptive method was used, incorporating case study results.  Result: Fluid balance monitoring was conducted over three days in CKD patients with hypervolemia. The results indicated that the hypervolemia issue remained unresolved, as evidenced by persistent edema in the lower extremities, unchanged urine output, and fluid balance monitoring results showing intake of 1,076 cc, output of 592 cc, and a fluid balance of +484 cc. Conclusion: Fluid balance monitoring is important in managing hypervolemia in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), but it requires time and further approaches to achieve nursing care objectives.

Abstract

Background & Objective: Non-hemorrhagic stroke can cause both physical and mental problems, one of which is anxiety. Unresolved anxiety can hinder patient recovery. A holistic nursing approach is needed, one of which is the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT). This study aims to implement SEFT therapy to reduce anxiety in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients in the Stroke Unit Room at RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon. Method: A descriptive method with a case study approach involved one respondent diagnosed with non-hemorrhagic stroke. Data were collected using observation sheets and questionnaires. Result: A three-day case study showed a decrease in anxiety score from 27 (moderate anxiety) to 8 (no anxiety). Conclusion: SEFT therapy has the potential as an effective non-pharmacological approach to reduce anxiety in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients and can be implemented in nursing care by actively involving patients and their families.

Second, in terms of distributing zakat to other countries such as Palestine, Islamic scholars argue that it is permissible with the following details. The Syafii Mazhab allows zakat funds to be distributed if there are no mustahik in the area where the zakat is collected, the Hanafi Mazhab says it is permissible to distribute zakat to other areas if there are relatives who are more in need or channeled to the claimants of knowledge. The Hambali and Maliki Mazhab are of the opinion that it is permissible to distribute zakat to an area close to the place where zakat is obligatory, which is less than the distance of the qasar prayer.

Abstract

NSTEMI is a clinical syndrome resulting from blockage of coronary arteries, either intermittent or permanent due to rupture of atherosclerotic plaque. NSTEMI is usually caused by severe narrowing of the coronary arteries and blockage of the coronary arteries is characterized by chest pain and shortness of breath, thereby reducing oxygen saturation and increasing the respiratory rate. Data (World Health Organization, 2018) shows that the incidence of ST elevation Mycardial Infaction (STEMI) is decreasing, while the incidence of Non-ST Elevation Mycardial Infaction is increasing. Data shows that 5 million people experience STEMI, and 4 million people experience NSTEMI. Objective: This study is to determine the application of giving the semi-Fowler position and oxygen to NSTEMI patients at Waled Hospital, Cirebon. Method: The method used in this writing is a case study using a nursing process approach to 1 Non ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (N-STEMI) patient. Results: The results of the application showed that before being given the semi-Fowler position and oxygen, the oxygen saturation was 94% and the respiratory rate was 25x/minute in the abnormal category. Meanwhile, after applying the semi-fowler's position and oxygen, the patient's respiratory rate decreased by 16-20x/minute and oxygen saturation was 97%-99% in the normal category. Conclusion: The results of the application after being given the semi-fowler's position and oxygen to the patient showed an increase in oxygen saturation and decreased respiratory rate
