Abstract

Background: The lack of studies that specifically examines the challenges of implementing technology in physical education, with a content analysis approach using NVivo 12 Plus prompted this study to be carried out. Research Objective: This study identifies strategies to overcome these obstacles and provides recommendations for policymakers and educators. The aim is to increase the effectiveness of the learning process through more effective use of technology. This research is also encouraged because the related findings are one of the few studies that have been conducted, especially in Indonesia, so this can fill the research gap. Methods: This method combines qualitative research with content analysis. It used Nvivo 12 Plus software to discover and analyse the main themes. The units of analysis used are text search queries and case classification. Finding/Results: The findings of this study reveal that the employment of technological aids in physical education is beneficial as it allows greater access and flexibility in learning, enhances students’ motivation and participation, and offers innovative teaching-learning tools. Nonetheless, inside the Indonesian education sector, there are still identified issues regarding constrained access to technology in many places, considering gaps in the deployment of digital infrastructure and the development of students’ and educators’ digital skills. Conclusion: Improvements in telecommunications infrastructure, better digital literacy among the teaching and student populations, and opportunities for closer governmental cooperation with industry will be vital to addressing these hurdles more effectively. Although there are still some struggles, this research highlights how technology should be implemented in physical education in the digital age. This study helps identify and analyse the main challenges to developing strategies for improving technology use in physical education, especially among students and educators.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The purpose of this study is to describe the technique of freestyle swimming in terms of: body position, hand movements, foot movements, breath taking movements and movement coordination. Materials and methods. Determine the level of mastery of the freestyle swimming technique in the students of the Physical Education Study Program at the  Universitas Pahlawan who attend basic swimming lectures. Is it classified as very good, good, less or less. This research is descriptive, the population of this research is 20 students. Results. the level of mastery of technique on the body position indicator is 66% and the error rate is 34%, then the hand rotation indicator is 66 % and the error rate is 34%, then the foot movement indicator (Kicking) is 70% and the error rate is 30%. Furthermore, the level of mastery of techniques in breathing (breating) is 68.5% and the error rate is 30%, then the level of mastery of techniques in coordination is 68.5% and the error rate is 31.5%. Conclusions. Concluded that the level of mastery of technique on each indicator of the freestyle swimming technique

Abstract

The aim of this research is to make improvements in the discus throwing test. Components that are improved in the throwing process start from the discus handle, the rotating stage, the throwing stage until returning to the original movement stage. Usually the discus throwing test uses the furthest distance taken by the meter. To find out the discus throwing quality of physical education students at Riau Islamic University, of course there must be test instruments and test norms for these students. Based on the background above, it is important for this research to be carried out in order to create a standard discus throwing test instrument that complies with the latest IAAF regulations. The method in this research uses research and development methods. This research uses development with the Borg and Gall model which includes ten activities, namely: (1) research and information collecting, (2) planning, (3) develop preliminary form of product, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field testing, (9) final product revision, (10) dissemination and implementation. The targets achieved in this research were physical education athletic students at Riau Islamic University. The population in this study was 40 people and the sample using a total sampling technique was 40 people. The instrument of this research is the discus throwing test. The data analysis technique in this research is (a) validity test using content validity and construct validity. The construct validity test was carried out by analyzing data from the discus throwing test results. The data obtained from the test was tested for validity using the SPSS computer program. (b) reliability test to describe the consistency of measurement results. The results of the discus throwing test instrument developed were correlated with the total score and had a validity of 0.790 and 0.790 which was greater than the r table (0.361). Meanwhile, the reliability result is 0.701, which is greater than the r table (0.361). The results of the validity of large group trials using the SPSS application with results obtained were 0.749, including the medium category. Based on data analysis, discus throwing skills were the lowest with a score of 87.91 and discus throwing skills were the highest with a score of 164.06.

Abstract

Latihan Quiet Eye merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif dan motorik untuk meningkatkan akurasi tendangan pemain sepakbola melalui fokus visual yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode latihan Quiet Eye dibandingkan dengan latihan biasa dalam meningkatkan akurasi tendangan ke gawang. Menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan rancangan two group pretest-posttest, 28 pemain sepakbola universitas di Provinsi Riau dilibatkan sebagai sampel. Para pemain dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok latihan Quiet Eye dan kelompok latihan biasa, dengan masing-masing menjalani 16 sesi pelatihan. Akurasi tendangan diukur menggunakan instrumen Loughborough Soccer Shooting Test (LSST). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelompok Quiet Eye mencatat peningkatan akurasi yang lebih signifikan (14%) dibandingkan kelompok latihan biasa (10%), dengan perbedaan signifikan (p 0,05). Latihan Quiet Eye terbukti membantu pemain dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi, mengelola tekanan, dan mengintegrasikan penglihatan dengan gerakan secara lebih efisien. Meskipun demikian, variasi hasil dalam kelompok Quiet Eye lebih besar dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas metode ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor individu. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam literatur pelatihan olahraga berbasis sains dan menjadi rekomendasi praktis bagi pelatih sepakbola untuk mengintegrasikan latihan Quiet Eye ke dalam program pelatihan rutin.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilatarbelakangi kondisi usaha mikro yang ada di kota Pekanbaru, khususnya di kelurahan Tuah Madani. Namun banyaknya usaha mikro ini tidak diikuti dengan manajemen tata kelola bisnis yang baik sehingga menghadapi permasalahan antara lain rendahnya penjualan produk, tidak bervariasinya promosi, belum adanya legalitas usaha, pencatatan keuangan bisnis yang tidak memenuhi standar, belum adanya sertifikasi halal. Solusi yang disiapkan oleh pengusul adalah memberikan pendampingan tentang tata kelola usaha berbasis syariah, memberikan asistensi pengurusan perizinan usaha, memberikan pendampingan membuat konsep promosi usaha (digitalisasi marketing), pendampingan pembuatan laporan keuangan dan asistensi pendaftaran sertifikasi halal. Hasil kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pendampingan dan inovasi usaha mikro keripik singkong H & H dengan terbitnya izin usaha dengan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), Sertifikat Pemenuhan Komitmen Produksi Pangan Olahan Industri Rumah Tangga (SPP-IRT), Sertifikat Halal dan memfasilitasi keikutsertaan mitra dalam kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pekanbaru. Selain itu tim PkM juga memberikan edukasi dalam pencatatan laporan keuangan dan memasarkan produk melalui media sosial serta memberikan asistensi pembuatan metode pembayaran digital QRIS Bank Syariah Indonesia. Selain itu, tim PkM juga memberikan bantuan perlatan dan perlengkapan usaha bagi mitra. Capaian dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah meningkatkannya kualitas usaha mikro untuk mendukung UMKM naik kelas, sehingga dapat menunjang produksi dan operasi usaha dan muaranya terjadi peningkatan pendapatan bagi usaha mikro. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan terwujudnya usaha mikro berbasis syariah serta terlaksananya Catur Dharma Universitas Islam Riau.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi kelincahan dan kecepatan terhadap kemampuan drilbling sepak bola pada ekstrakurikuler SMA Negeri 2 Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa ekstrakurikuler SMA Negeri 2 Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau yang berjumlah 22 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 22 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes dodging run, tes lari 30 meter, dan tes dribbling bola. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah uji nilai korelasi ganda dan menghitung nilai kontribusi. (1) Terdapat kontribusi kelincahan terhadap kemampuan dribbling bola pada siswa ekstrakurikuler SMA Negeri 2 Bangko dengan nilai rhitung = 0,597 > rtabel = 0,423 dan nilai KD sebesar 35.64%. (2) Terdapat kontribusi kecepatan terhadap kemampuan dribbling bola pada siswa ekstrakurikuler SMA Negeri 2 Bangko dengan nilai rhitung = 0,616 > rtabel = 0,423 dan nilai KD sebesar 38.56%. (3) Terdapat kontribusi kelincahan dan kecepatan terhadap kemampuan dribbling bola pada siswa ekstrakurikuler SMA Negeri 2 Bangko dengan nilai rhitung = 0,708 > rtabel = 0,423 dan nilai KD sebesar 50.13%.

Abstract

The problems faced are related to the sports achievement coaching program in the Kampar Regency Youth and Sports Office, Riau Province. The coaching carried out certainly requires a lot of input and reinforcement in the field of achievement coaching. One of the supporting factors needed here is Talent Identification in early childhood. Talent is an advantage in the form of an ability possessed by a person in a field, where with his talent he does not have to study and practice hard in that field like other people who do not have talents like him. In addition, talent is carried by a person since birth and is only known as he grows older so that talent identification is needed. The activities of strengthening the concept of talent identification are carried out in several stages. First, the preparation stage, namely conducting surveys and discussions to obtain the information needed, setting targets, preparing materials and other needs. Second, the implementation stage with activities to conduct pre-tests and deliver material on concentration training and talent identification. Third, the evaluation stage by conducting post-tests and analyzing the final results of the Community Service activities that have been carried out. This community service activity went well from the beginning to the end of the activity, participants participated enthusiastically and actively in discussing with the speakers. The final result obtained was an increase in participant understanding related to the application of the concept of student talent identification in improving athlete achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kontribusi kelincahan dan kecepatan terhadap kemampuan dribbling pada siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tim futsal di SMP PGRI Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasi untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel fisik (kelincahan dan kecepatan) dengan keterampilan dribbling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelincahan tidak memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan dribbling, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,30 dan kontribusi sebesar 9%. Kecepatan juga tidak menunjukkan kontribusi yang signifikan, dengan nilai r sebesar 0,37 dan kontribusi sebesar 13%. Sementara itu, gabungan antara kelincahan dan kecepatan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 14% terhadap kemampuan dribbling, dengan nilai r sebesar 0,38, namun belum menunjukkan kontribusi yang kuat. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan dribbling pada siswa di lingkungan sekolah kemungkinan lebih dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain, seperti teknik dasar, pengalaman bermain, atau aspek kognitif dan afektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pembinaan yang lebih komprehensif dan menyeluruh dalam pengembangan keterampilan dribbling di tingkat sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sepak Sila Sepak Takraw Melalui Gaya Mengajar Resiprokal SMP Negeri 2 Merbau Kabupaten Meranti. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Merbau Kabupaten Meranti. yang berjumlah 10 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 6 orang siswa putra dan 4 orang siswa putri. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah rubrik penilaian Teknik sepak sila sepak takraw. Teknik Analisa data yang digunakan adalah menghitung persentase ketuntasan siswa dalam belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan mengenai upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar sepak sila sepak takraw melalui gaya mengajar resiprokal pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Merbau Kabupaten Meranti, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan gaya mengajar resiprokal terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I, hanya 60% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan dengan rata-rata nilai 79,06, dan kategori ketuntasan klasikal dinyatakan belum tuntas. Namun setelah dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran pada siklus II, seluruh siswa (100%) berhasil mencapai nilai di atas KKM (81) dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 90,00, sehingga kategori ketuntasan klasikal dinyatakan tuntas.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of a CS 6 Flash-Based Swimming Learning Model so that students can more easily understand swimming material and also make it easier for teachers to teach swimming. This study uses the Research and Development method. The steps in this research were: field needs analysis, compiling products, validating media and material experts, small-scale trials, second stage validation, large-scale trials, and the final product. The subjects of this study were students of class XI SMA Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang. Data was collected using a questionnaire for both experts and subjects. The results of this study are in the form of swimming learning models for teachers. Material experts state that this product is included in the good category (84.6%). Application experts stated that this product was included in the good/proper category with a percentage of 90.62% while for the small group and field assessment were 87.5% and 90.90%, respectively. It can be concluded that the development of this application can be used as a reference for teachers in the process of learning swimming material and the findings in this study are the results of applying swimming material to high school students from class XI.
