Abstract

The rapid development requires enormous natural resources. So it appears that in development there is an overuse of natural resources, which results in disruption of the water system balance. Various impacts will occur as a result of unbalanced use of natural resources, the use of unbalanced natural resources around the Siak river area, causing an increase in pollution entering the river. Regulation of the Minister of PUPR Number 4 of 2015 concerning Criteria and Designation of River Areas, Siak River is one of the major rivers that receive national attention and is also included in the national strategic river category. Control of river pollution is done by analyzing the WASP modeling and the existing condition of the Siak river, the effect of the levels on the parameters of the mainstay discharge and the mainstay discharge and the percentage of pollution load reduction carried out to meet the class II quality standards. The results showed that theoverall condition of the Siak river was polluted. The average excess capacity of the COD pollution load at the time of the depandable discharge is -454,516 kg/day. Then at the time of the depandable discharge isvalued at -181,087 kg/day. The control effort taken is to reduce the COD contamination load so that the capacity of the pollution load is +177,742 kg/day when the depandable discharge is maximum and +72,536kg/day when the depandable discharge is minimum. Percentage reduction of COD contamination load at the minimum and maximum depandable discharge to meet the class II quality standard of 50%.

Abstract

Wonosari Reservoir in Bengkalis Regency as a source of raw water to serve some residents of Bantan and Bengkalis districts. The volume of water in this reservoir has decreased annually due to the buildup of sedimentation. This research aims to analyze the relationship between raw water demand which is directly proportional with the projection of population growth and the availability of water in the Wonosari reservoir. The results of research conducted observational, in 2030 indicated a shortage of raw water with needs in Bantan and Bengkalis districts of 64.16 lt / sec and 215.96 lt/sec or equivalent with 5543.74 m3/day and 18658.09 m3/day which are the total of 24201.83 m3/day, while the availability of water is 94585.35 m3 and continues to decrease. Based on this analysis, it is necessary to anticipate the achievement of solutions to water availability so that needs can be met.

Abstract

Daerah Irigasi Hilir Tanjung terletak di Kelurahan Ganting Kota Padang Panjang Provinsi Sumatra Barat. Permasalahan pada irigasi ini adalah terjadinya kehilangan air pada saluran sekunder sehingga tidak mencukupi kebutuhan air tanam seluas 25,56 Ha. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai kehilangan air pada saluran sekunder, serta mengetahui nilai kebutuhan air tanam pada Daerah Irigasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksploratif-survey dengan dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan data sekunder yang diolah dengan pendekatan-pendekatan keruangan. Hasil evaluasi analisa yang didapat adalah nilai kebutuhan air Daerah Irigasi Hilir Tanjung sebesar 0,238 m3/dtk. Kehilangan air pada saluran sekunder sebesar 0,029 m3/dtk. Kekurangan debit air yang terjadi sebesar 0,070 m3/dtk.

Abstract

Dalam suatu struktur banginan, dinding merupakan bagian penting dalam sebuah bangunan dan salah satu penyumbang berat yang cukup besar terhadap bangunan. Oleh karena itu penggunaan bata ringan untuk dinding bangunan dianggap sudah sesuai. Bata ringan memiliki nilai yang efesien dalam bidang konstruksi terutama untuk pembuatan bangunan gedung, karena memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan pengurangan beban pada bangunan dan dapat mengurangi pemakaian material pada saat pembangunan Pada penelitian ini membahas campuran kapur sebagai pengganti dari sebagian semen pada bata ringan yang mengacu pada sifat mekanis bata ringan. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian kuat tekan bebas menggunakan Unconfined Compression Strength (UCS) dengan variasi campuran yang digunakan sebesar 5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20% dari volume semen yang digunakan. Hasil kuat tekan bata ringan pada umur 28 hari secara beruntun variasi campuran kapur 5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20% didapat kuat tekan 0.96 Mpa, 0,81 MPa, 0,43 Mpa, dan  0,32 MPa. Sehinga kuat tekan maksimum yang direkomendasikan terdapat pada campuran kapur 5% yaitu 0.96 MPa

Abstract

A strategy from the Bengkalis Government in the context of accelerating regional development and improving the wheels of the economy, regional expansion is carried out both on the sub-district, sub-district and village scales. Teluk Latak Village is one of the villages affected by the expansion so that the distribution of the area or village boundaries becomes invalid. This incident caused confusion in the fields of population, agriculture or plantations, and so on. The purpose of this research is to obtain accurate data and to process the data into a thematic map of the village, so that it can provide information about the situation of the village. The method used is exploratory-survey with the acquisition of measurement data in the field and processed using the Arc-GIS application. The data source is based on taking coordinates using GPS tools and aerial photos using drones. Results that can be displayed on a thematic map of Teluk Latak Village Kab. Bengkalis consists of five information, namely the plantation area is displayed with an area of 1015,141 ha, and a residential area with an area of 132,88 ha. Fishery area with an area of 33.44 ha. Then the road network consisting of arterial roads, neighborhood roads and alleys. Furthermore, the river network serves three other villages, namely Senderak Village, Meskom Village and Simpang Ayam Village.

Abstract

The high level of population density in RT 002 / RW 009 Labuh Baru Timur Village, Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City has the potential to be a contributor to CO2 carbon dioxide emissions. The resulting carbon emissions are from electrical energy and food consumption. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the value of the carbon footprint resulting from the consumption of food and electricity energy. The purpose of this study is to determine the value of carbon emissions. Based on the data obtained, the value of emissions from the electricity sector is 1061.106786 (kg CO2)/day, the food consumption sector is 526.33299 (kg CO2)/day. The highest emission value produced by the electricity sector from the 32nd respondent was 18.39823 (kg C02)/day, and the food consumption sector from the 48th respondent was 13.55319 (kg C02)/day.

Abstract

Rainfall forecasting plays a crucial role in disaster risk management and water resources management in urban areas such as Asahan, North Sumatera. This research explores the application of ARIMA (AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average) model as a forecasting method to predict rainfall in Asahan, North Sumatera. Historical rainfall data from relevant meteorological stations were collected and used as the basis for developing the forecasting model. The ARIMA method involves identification, estimation, and diagnostic steps. A series of statistical analyses were conducted to determine the degree of autoregression (p), the time series that need to be integrated (d), and the degree of moving average displacement (q). The resulting ARIMA model was then tested on test data to evaluate forecasting accuracy. At this station, the accuracy is 50%, which means that rainfall forecasting at this station when using ARIMA(1,1,1) is quite accurate.
