Abstract

The research is introduced by the lack of the students understanding of mathematical concept and students prefer to copy paste their friends exercise without paying attention it is right or wrong. This research is aimed to know the students understanding of mathematicalconcept by using learning model of Cooperative type Numbered Heads with LKS better than the students understanding concept by using conventional learning at class IX SMP PERTI Padang. The type of this research is experiment. Population in this research is students class IX SMP PERTI Padang who registered in academic year 2013/2014 that consists of three class. The tecgnique of sampling is random and selected class IX.1 as an experimental class and class IX.2 as control class. Insrument used was final test contain mathematical concept umderstanding indicators in the from of essay. Technique of data analysis used was Mann-Withney test with MINITAB sofware. Based on the hypothesis obtained P-value = 0,003, because p-less than α = 0,05 so the hypotesisis accepted the students understanding of mathematical concept by using Cooperative type Numbered Heads learning with LKS is better than students understanding mathematical concept by using conventional learning at class IX SMP PERTI Padang.

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a technique for automatically recording parasitemia of mice infected with Plasmodium berghei by using Cellprofiler. Our purpose is to identify the difference number of parasitemia obtained by CellProfiler and manual assessment. We conducted a T-test analysis with p < 0.05. This value is considered to have a statistically significant different between automatic and manual process. Total of 50 thin blood smear images were analyzed for both automatically using CellProfiler and manual process. Results showed that there were insignificant difference between automatic and manual process (p > 0.05). It can be concluded that based on this research that automated quantification of parasitemia using CellProfiler was comparable but not better than manual.keywords: Automation, CellProfiler, Parasitemia, Plasmodium berghei, Thin blood smearPada tulisan ini, penghitungan parasitemia pada mencit yang diinfeksi dengan Plasmodium berghei dengan CellProfiler diusulkan. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan antara nilai parasitemia yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan CellProfiler dibandingkan dengan secara manual. Uji T digunakan untuk analisis statistik dengan p < 0, 05 berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penghitungan otomatis dibandingkan dengan manual. Total sebanyak lima puluh citra apusan darah tipis mencit dianalisis secara otomatis menggunakan CellProfiler dan secara manual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai persentase yang diperoleh secara otomatis dibandingkan dengan manual (p > 0, 05) . Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai persentase parasitemia yang diperoleh secara otomatis menggunakan CellProfiler sebanding tetapi tidak lebih baik dibandingkan dengan teknik manual.kata kunci: CellProfiler, Otomatisasi, Parasitemia, Plasmodium berghei, Preparat Apusan Tipis

Abstract

This research explains the issue of opposing human rights carried out by the people of Afghanistan against boys through the bacha bazi culture. The conservative culture in Afghanistan led to a separation between men and women, thus bacha bazi serves to be a means of fulfilling the sexual needs of the male community in Afghanistan. “Women are for children, boys are for pleasure” is a famous sentence that explains the culture of bacha bazi for the people of Afghanistan. Although very normal, bacha bazi is taboo to talk about so that the practice is done in secret. The Taliban regime in 1996-2001 was able to abolish the bacha bazi culture, but with the fall of the regime, this culture is increasingly spreading. Domestic and international organizations, as well as foreign troops in Afghanistan, have sought to eradicate the culture, but have encountered difficulties. So this research was conducted to answer how the bacha bazi culture can take place after the Taliban government. The research methodology is an explanative qualitative method through data collection techniques with a literature study. The results of this study are proof that cultural relativity keeps this culture going on in Afghanistan despite violating human rights.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain explanative findings about the impact of work productivity on compensation at PT Sasjam Riri. The design of this research was causal quantitative. The subjects of this study were all 59 employees of PT Sasjam Riri. The object of this research focused on work productivity and compensation variables. The data collection technique was a survey using questionnaire as the research instrument. The data were then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results obtained in the study indicate that work productivity has a positive and significant effect on compensation.

Abstract

Silica gel is a compound that has two active sides, namely silanol (Si-OH) and siloxane (Si-O-Si) which have not been effective as adsorbents so modifications are made. Silica gel is modified using monosodium salt 4-Amino-5-hydroxy-2,7-naphthalenedisulfonic acid which is reacted first with GPTMS (glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane) as a connecting bridge to produce sulfonate-modified silica gel-GPTMS adsorbent. The purpose of this modification is that sulfonate-modified silica gel-GPTMS are made to adsorb Ni2+ metal ions under optimum conditions at pH, contact time and concentration. The adsorption process is carried out using the batch method by seeing how much adsorbent adsorption capacity is made against the absorption of metal ions. The characterization used is an FTIR (Fourier Transform-Infrared) spectrophotometer in the analysis of the adsorbent manufacturing process and SSA (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry) to see the results of metal ion absorption. The results obtained according to research that has been conducted show the adsorption of sulfonate-modified silica gel-GPTMS against the absorption of Ni2+ metal ions at optimum conditions is at pH 3 and contact time for 45 with absorption capacities of 1.5265 mg/g and 1.5826 mg/g respectively.

Abstract

In the ornamental industry, particularly in orchid sales, manual inventory management has presented significant challenges. These challenges include excessive stock accumulation, financial pressure due to overstocks, and limited land resources to store overstocks. Utilizing information technology, data mining, specifically the K-Means Clustering algorithm, emerges as a solution. This research aims to optimize orchid inventory management by grouping products into three clusters: "highly sellable," "sellable," and "less sellable." Historical sales data was used as the main dataset, considering parameters such as sales volume, demand patterns, and seasonality. The K-Means Clustering algorithm categorized the orchid products, with 97 products in the "highly sellable" cluster, 68 products in the "sellable" cluster, and 22 products in the "less sellable" cluster. This analysis offers insights. Orchids that are "highly marketable" require higher stock levels to meet demand. "Sellable" varieties require standard stock levels, while "less sellable" types should maintain lower stock levels to avoid overstocking. In conclusion, using k-means clustering for orchid inventory management can optimize sales strategies. Orchids in high demand receive adequate stock, ensuring customer satisfaction. Effective stock allocation improves financial stability by overcoming the problem of overstock in the ornamental industry.

Abstract

The student rules above can make us aware of how important rules are, especially for the Indonesian generation. Research was conducted to analyze the influence of disciplinary regulations on students. The research method uses qualitative case studies. Research subjects were principals, teachers and 4 5th grade students. Through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique uses 4 stages of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions. The results of the research show 1) Duties and obligations, in this school you are required to arrive on time but the lack of discipline in students results in them arriving late, but they are not immediately given sanctions, they are reprimanded first or asked what the problem is that causes lateness. 2) Prohibition for students, when they break the rules, such as throwing rubbish carelessly during breaks when leaving their seats, rubbish lying around, then the teacher will automatically monitor who is sitting here, then the children will be called for discipline. 3) Sanctions are binding, no one violates them and is worried, let alone calling their parents, there are some children who break the rules but can still be handled by the teacher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peran guru dalam membantu peserta didik mengatasi masalah baik akademis maupun non-akademis. Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) serta guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) diharapkan dapat bekerja sama dalam membimbing peserta didik agar berkembang secara utuh, baik secara spiritual maupun sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kolaborasi guru PAI bersama guru BK dalam mengatasi permasalahan siswa di SMPN 2 Waru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan 1 guru BK dan 1 guru PAI, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan display data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa SMPN 2 Waru terbagi menjadi tiga aspek yaitu; aspek spiritual, aspek personal, dan aspek sosial. Aspek spiritual seperti tidak salat Zuhur dan Duha. Adapun aspek personal meliputi terlambat datang ke sekolah dan absen sekolah. Sedangkan aspek sosial seperti berkelahi dan bulliying. Selanjutnya, teknik penyelesaian masalah di sekolah tersebut dengan membangun kolaborasi guru PAI serta guru BK secara formal dan informal. Penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa kolaborasi antara guru PAI serta guru BK perlu diperkuat dengan melihat tiga aspek permasalahan yang sering terjadi di sekolah.

Abstract

The increasing impact of climate change and the need for precision agriculture demand reliable environmental monitoring solutions.This study aims to develop a real-time, multisensor-based environmental monitoring system that displays data via an I2C LCD and a user-friendly web interface. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller connected to a range of sensors, including the DHT22 (for temperature and humidity), MQ-7 and MQ-135 (for CO and CO₂), LDR (for light intensity), a rain sensor, and an anemometer (for wind speed). Testing was conducted over eight hours under various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Validation was performed by comparing the sensor readings with those from standard measuring instruments. The results showed that the DHT22 sensor had a low error rate of 0.62% for temperature and 0.38% for humidity. Other sensors demonstrated low standard deviation values, indicating stable and consistent measurements. The system also exhibited responsive and accurate performance in detecting changes in environmental parameters. Therefore, this system is effective as an environmental monitoring tool for agricultural applications and can support early decision-making based on environmental condition changes.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan bencana alam yang paling sering terjadi di Indonesia. Menurut catatan Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), telah terjadi 1080 bencana banjir di Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2020. Pada tanggal 18 Januari 2021, Kota Malang diguyur hujan dengan intensitas tinggi sehingga terjadi bencana banjir dan tanah longsor yang menyebabkan satu orang hilang dan 260 rumah terendam banjir. Dengan adanya bencana tersebut maka diperlukan analisis terhadap penyebab terjadinya banjir serta melakukan pencegahan dan mitigasi dengan pemetaan potensi banjir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pembobotan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dengan narasumber pegawai BAPPEDA Kota Malang, pegawai DPUPRPKP Kota Malang, dan pegawai BPBD Kota Malang. Parameter yang digunakan antara lain ketinggian lahan, kemiringan lereng, jenis tanah, tutupan lahan, histori banjir, curah hujan, dan kerapatan sungai. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa curah hujan memiliki pengaruh lebih besar terhadap banjir dengan bobot sebesar 50%, diikuti dengan parameter lain yaitu kemiringan lereng 15%, tutupan lahan 11%, kerapatan sungai 10%, histori banjir 7%, ketinggian lahan 4%, dan jenis tanah 3%. Kemudian didapatkan tiga kelas potensi banjir yaitu potensi tinggi sebesar 3,04 km2, potensi sedang sebesar 90,42 km2, dan potensi rendah sebesar 9,41 km2. Wilayah yang berpotensi tinggi terhadap banjir adalah Kelurahan Kelurahan Arjosari, Purwodadi, Pandanwangi, Purwantoro, Sawojajar, Bunulrejo, Blimbing, Jatimulyo, Tlogomas, Lowokwaru, Dinoyo, Ketawanggede, dan Penanggungan.
