Abstract

Sistem pengisian air isi ulang menggunakan sensor load cell untuk mengukur isi dari galon. Galon yang digunakan yaitu 5 liter, 12 liter dan 19 liter, dimana sistem kontrol secara otomatis berhenti pada saat galon mencapai batas maksimal. Proses pembayaran tidak lagi menggunakan manual melainkan dengan menggunakan sistem RFID. Pada proses pengisian terdapat 3 metode yaitu hanning filter, kalman filter dan moving average filter guna untuk memperbaiki pembacaan load cell. Didapatkan hasil error pada metode hanning filter dengan galon 5 liter error 0.2%, galon 12 liter error 0.1% dan galon 19 liter error 0.3%. Keakuratan pada galon 5 liter sebesar 99.8%, galon 12 liter sebesar 99.9% dan galon 19 liter sebesar 99.7%. Metode kalman filter dengan galon 5 liter error 0.3%, galon 12 liter error 0.3% dan galon 19 liter error 0.3%. Keakuratan pada galon 5 liter sebesar 99.7%, galon 12 liter sebesar 99.7% dan galon 19 liter sebesar 99.7%. Metode moving average filter dengan galon 5 liter error 0.2%, galon 12 liter error 0.2% dan galon 19 liter error 0.5%. Keakuratan pada galon 5 liter sebesar 99.8%, galon 12 liter sebesar 99.8% dan galon 19 liter sebesar 99.5%.

Abstract

Pengisian baterai pada kendaraan dapat dilakukan secara optimal apabila alternator bekerja dengan baik. Bilamana daya dari baterai digunakan sampai lebih dari 50% dari daya total, baterai tersebut bisa mengalami kerusakan. Salah satu penanganan yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan memonitor kondisi baterai. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah kondisi berkurangnya tegangan sampai tingkat di bawah standar sering diabaikan. Berdasarkan alasan ini, perlu dirancang sebuah alat untuk memonitor kondisi baterai berdasarkan pengisian alternator. Hasil pengujian alat monitoring kondisi baterai, jika daya lebih besar dari 30%, alternator tidak dapat mengisi sehingga tegangan serta arus dapat stabil sehingga tidak berisolasi.  Jika daya habis, otomatis relay akan aktif sehingga alternator mulai mengisi sehingga arus serta tegangan berisolasi. Pengisian baterai pada sistem ini telah dilengkapi dengan penstabil tegangan sehingga pengisian dapat stabil. Pada hasil pengujian sistem, tegangan pada baterai mengalami perubahan ketika mesin dinyalakan atau pada kondisi aktif. Pada saat awal mesin tidak aktif, tegangan pada baterai adalah 12,3 volt. Ketika mesin aktif, tegangan menjadi 13,7 volt. Perubahan yang terjadi pada tegangan baterai tersebut adalah 11,38%. Hal ini disebabkan karena alternator aktif ketika kondisi kendaraan aktif sehingga tegangan baterai menjadi naik.

Abstract

Mengukur level ketinggian air dapat menggunakan perangkat sensor ultrasonic yang memiliki prinsip pantulan gelombang. Penggunaan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 bisa mengalami gangguan yang mempengaruhi hasil pengukuran akibat noise. Aplikasi Kalman Filter (KF) bisa menjadi solusi untuk meredam adanya noise pada pembacaan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04. KF merupakan salah satu filter yang mampu memprediksi data berdasarkan input data yang diterima sebelumnya serta mampu mereduksi noise pada sinyal. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan implementasi KF untuk meminimalisir kesalahan pengukuran dari pembacaan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa KF mampu meredam noise sehingga memiliki selisih pengukuran antara 0% sampai 2%.

Abstract

Regular maintenance is one step to keep your car looking good, but many people still underestimate the importance of regular maintenance. A tool called Wireless Odometer has been created which can notify vehicle owners through the application if the vehicle mileage has entered the recommended criteria for periodic servicing. Based on previous research, Wireless Odometer still has weaknesses. sensor readings on this tool still have an error of 13.2% so it is still less accurate if applied to measure mileage on vehicles. It is necessary to have a digital filter that must be added to the sensor readings so that the sensor is resistant to noise that occurs due to mechanical or electrical. In this research, we implement the Moving Average Filter and Kalman Filter methods for sensor readings on the Wireless Odometer. After several tests were carried out, it was found that the percentage of reading errors when filtered reached 0.80% using the Kalman filter method and 1.81% using the Moving Average Filter method. It can be concluded that the filter that is suitable for use on this Wireless Odometer is the kalman filter.

Abstract

Hydroponics Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) is one of the solutions to plant vegetables in limited land. The method is by flowing water and provide nutritional intake for the plant and control pH level of water. The existing hydroponics system has not used a control system to keep the water pH stable. In order to keep the water pH at 7, a system was established using Arduino Uno and pH Analog DF Robot (SEN0169) pH Sensor. This sensor would read the water pH level as an initial input to determine the additional acid or alkaline solution. This also controlled nutrition solution needed by pakcoy vegetable with a PWM control system on wiper motor functioning as a pump to distribute the acid and alkaline nutrition. Whenever the water pH level was exceeding 8, the wiper motor would start working until the pH level decreased to 6-8, and the alkaline liquid would be added whenever the value of pH level was smaller than 6. To get a water pH at 6-8 would take 2-4 seconds. Keeping the water pH within 6-8 would produce well-grown vegetable, in accordance with the determined reference.

Abstract

The electromagnetic distance relay at the Sukolilo substation has been replaced with a digital relay equipped with a recloser. If there is a disturbance, the relay will trip and reconnect automatically. The setting values have changed as a result of this replacement. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of the distance relay setting at the Sukolilo substation using traditional calculations, which would then be implemented in a computer program developed by PLN Ltd. It also found out the results of calculations per zone included in the distance relay zone. This study employed a fuzzy method with digsilent software. The research data comprised data on SUTT installed at the Sukolilo substation, data on conductor relay settings at the Sukolilo substation, data on short circuit currents, and transformer ratios. The simulation results in this study indicated that the distance relay had a setting value that was not in accordance with the standard in the old setting of the Sukolilo substation zone 1 for protection (175.42%), while the calculation results showed that zone 1 protected 58.44%. The new impedance setting covered zone 1 = 0.338, zone 2 = 0.862, and zone 3 = 1.488, whereas the old impedance setting showed zone 1 = 0.1126, zone 2 = 0.2924, and zone 3 = 0.4128. The old setting time and the new setting showed a big difference in that the old setting time was 0.25 seconds with a range of 175.42% while the new setting time was 0.25 seconds with a range of 58.44%.

Abstract

One of the disturbances in the transformer at the South Surabaya Substation is a short circuit, this disturbance causes an increase in the flow of electric current to a large extent resulting in heat on the transmission line and damage to the electric power system equipment so protection is needed. One type of equipment that needs to be protected is a transformer using a differential relay. In this study, the process of determining the relay settings was used using a numerical process and compared with the genetic algorithm(AG)method. In the AG process, the targeted optimization values are the current values of IsettandId. The results of the two processes are compared with the existing conditions to determine the resulting acceleration of the trip relay response. The trip response acceleration of each differential relay from the AG results shows an acceleration value of 0.088s, 0.047s, and 0.047s to the existing conditions while the numerical process shows an acceleration of the trip process of 0.083s, 0.045s, and 0.045s to the existing conditions. The results of the AG optimization show that the acceleration response is the best compared to the numerical process

Abstract

Robot is a mechanical device that can perform physical tasks, both with human supervision and control (semi-automatic), or with a program that has been defined in advance (artificial intelligence). Robots are usually used for heavy tasks, repetitive and monotonous work such as cleaning up toxic wastes, underwater and space exploration, mining, search and rescue, and in agriculture. The agricultural robot designed is a four-wheeled mobile robot that can water plants automatically by taking into account the temperature and soil humidity. This agricultural robot design uses line follower system (line follower robot) and wireless communication through ESP8266. The robot detects the temperature and soil humidity through LM35 and YL-69 sensors which are readable through ATmega32 microcontroller programmed by C programming language.

Abstract

Photovoltaics’ current and voltage output characteristics depend on the intensity of solar radiation and temperature. Maximum Power Point works with maximum energy output and has the highest efficiency. The maximum energy point tracking method (MPPT) keeps the solar cell operating point at its maximum point. This study uses the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method designed and used to maintain that point. The Perturb and Observe (PnO) method is used to test the results, often used in determining this tracking. Based on the test, it was found that the average power efficiency obtained was 84.79%, and using PnO was 83.87%. The transient response using ANFIS is relatively smoother than that of using PnO, which will cause chattering when there is a change in radiation and temperature.

Abstract

The need for the staple food chili is quite high, while agricultural land in big cities is being converted into residential areas. Meanwhile, chili plants can grow and develop in a limited environment by controlling humidity, temperature and light intensity. This research aims to analyze a greenhouse monitoring control system for chili plants based on DHT 22 temperature sensor input and YL-69 humidity sensor. The method used is fuzzy mamdani to control humidity according to what the plants need. The system test results can maintain the soil moisture of chili plants at 60% - 80%. The DHT 22 sensor test worked quite well with a error temperature sensor of 0.00% - 1.12%. Overall, the temperature and humidity control system in the greenhouse can maintain stable humidity for chili plants at the desired set point.
