Abstract

The research was inspired by the increasing number of competition among Tourist Destination or DTW in Badung because nearly all areas have a beautiful nature, a remarkable cultural heritage, and hospitality of its people is quite a potential tourist attraction. Badung has the potential diverse tourist attractions, agro tourism in the North and beach tourism in the Southern areas. Pandava beach is one of the tourist areas in the village of Kutuh. The purpose of this research are to investigate what factors are considered by tourists visiting the Pandava Beach and Which is the most dominant Factor into consideration of domestic tourists visiting the Pandava Beach. The determination of the criteria of research from respondents uses a Likert scale to measure the nature, the opinions and perceptions of a person or a group of people about a social phenomenon with a number of sample as many as 85 people. Analytical tool used in this study is the analysis of the factor with the help of SPSS version. 17. From the test results of the four factors influencing tourists to visit the Pandavas Beach: beach beauty and strategic location, which is composed of natural beaches, recreational facilities, recreational facilities and the condition of its strategic location; Price and access to the beach Pandavas, which consists of the price of food and beverages, recreation rents, large parking area, access to which is smooth, safe and friendly community; Responsiveness and hygiene, the variables that make up the service guides are good, responsive coast guard, coastal environmental hygiene; Promotions and services, which consists of a variable where to eat in coastal areas, promotion and service personnel, it was found that the most dominant factor affecting the interest of tourists to visit the beach Pandavas are factors beach beauty and strategic location. It can be seen from the eigenvalues value equal to 7.704 which is the highest value of the total value of eigen value.

Abstract

The integrated practical learning process has not been comprehensively implemented in the Tourism Department yet. Therefore, it is considered necessary to improve the learning method. The study aims to analyses the effectiveness of integrated learning in the Food Division learning. The learning method which will be implemented action class experiment approach in which four courses, namely Food Production Operation, Restaurant and Bar Operation, Cost Control and English for Food Division are synergized under the same topic. The type of the research is classroom action research with student center learning approach. This current study applied the action class experiment approach in which two groups of samples were differently treated. The t-test, was used to test whether the learning achievement. The result of the test analysis showed that the implementation of the integrated practical learning process significantly contributed to accelerate the achievement of the competency of the students of the food division. Therefore, the integrated learning process is a highly effective one to be implemented in the vocational institution. The result of the statistical test showed that the competence achieved by the students with the integrated practical learning process was significantly different from that achieved by the students with the partial practical learning process. Therefore, it’s suggested to the management of the Tourism Department to motivate and facilitate the teaching staff especially those teaching the core courses to implement the integrated practical learning model to accelerate the achievement of competence in the learning materials taught to the students.

Abstract

This study aims to design a tourism village management model in empowering the potential of tourism attractions and communities based on green tourism in Blimbingsari Village by using a holistic approach effectively. Data collection using survey methods, interviews, and Focus Group Discussion with judgment sampling method. Data analysis used descriptive methods based on input from selected people such as village heads, hamlet heads, youth association leader, tourism awareness groups and tourism actors in Blimbingsari village. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows a tourism village management model based on green tourism with a holistic approach seen from two aspects. In general, the management model related to the management of personal and communal tourism products goes through two stages, namely: 1) determining the unit according to operational demands, 2) making fair policies and rules in creating stability in operations. From the component aspect, management is carried out by involving all stakeholders who contribute to the development of the Blimbingsari tourism village, namely: government, private sector, community and managers. A holistic approach is applied when making fair policies that can meet the interests of the village and tourism product providers in Blimbingsari village. Its application also involves all stakeholders, because it can help develop a comprehensive tourism village that can create an integrated tourism village. So that the tourism village management model through a holistic approach will be able to create harmony in the community and be able to maintain environmental sustainability in the context of green tourism.

Abstract

Desa Petak Kaja membujur dari Utara ke Selatan yang diapit dua sungai, sebelah barat sungai Pakerisan dan sebelah timur sungai Sangsang II. Desa Petak Kaja memiliki luas 325 Ha. Keadaan masyarakatnya mengalami perkembangan khususnya di bidang tukang bangunan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat di Bajar Petak Desa Petak Kaja, mengetahui bagaimana manajemen pengelolaan proyek pertukangan di Banjar Petak Desa Petak Kaja. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian melalui 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan pembinaan, dan tahapan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan diikuti oleh kelompok tukang bangunan “Wayan Kanca” sejumlah 10 orang. . Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Jurusan Teknik Sipil Politeknik Negeri Bali akan dilaksanakan di Desa Petak Kaja, Kecamatan Ganyar, Kabupaten Gianyar. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah dalam rangka membantu dan meningkatkan peran aktif masyarakat dalam membangun daerahnya secara swadaya. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah masyarakat setempat belum mengetahui cara perhitungan biaya proyek yang lebih efektif dalam melakukan kegiatan di proyek dan penggunaan baja ringan sebagai material kap dari bangunan . Semoga dengan program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini, masyarakat terbantu dan bisa lebih mandiri membangun dan memelihara apa yang sudah mereka bangun nantinya

Abstract

This research aims to increase ballroom sales at New Kuta Hotel, to find out marketing strategies that should be used by the sales & marketing departments to increase ballroom sales and to find out which strategies are most effective in marketing strategies by sales & marketing department. The analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, Internal Factor Analysis Summary Matrix (IFAS), External Factor Analysis Summary Matrix (EFAS), Internal–External Matrix (IE), SWOT Analysis and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Based on the results of IFAS matrix analysis, the main strength is the ballroom sales can help increase hotel revenue, while the main weakness is the incentives imposed by the sales & marketing departments are less appropriate. Based on the EFAS matrix analysis, it was discovered that the main opportunity was the ability of sales & marketing to bring in customers while the main threat faced was the budget considered by the customer. The IE Matrix study results put the company in the Growth Strategic (Cell II) position. SWOT analysis produced eight alternative strategies of marketing strategies from the eight strategies and obtained three marketing strategies that were prioritized and calculated through QSPM Matrix with a total TAS of 181.29.

Abstract

Desa Sesaot merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang terletak di Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat yang berada di wilayah Hutan Lindung Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Secara topografi wilayah, Desa Sesaot terletak pada ketinggian 340-350 meter di atas permukaan laut dengan kemiringan hamparan dari utara ke selatan, Potensi unggulan yang dimiliki oleh Desa Sesaot berupa daya Tarik wisata alam dan budaya untuk meningkatkan pariwisata serta pendapatan masyarakat. Potensi wisata dimiliki berbasis alam seperti hutan, air terjun, sungai, bukit, juga agrowisata, dan juga budaya dimana terdapat dua suku yang menetap yaitu suku Bali dan suku Sasak. Lokasi yang terletak di kawasan hutan lindung atau kawasan taman nasional memiliki potensi dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata berupa sungai, hutan, dan air terjun berpotensi untuk atraksi cycling maupun tracking. Selain itu juga potensi wisata kuliner berupa makanan lokal seperti sate bulayak dan buah-buahan local. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabidan ini adalah membantu masyarakat terutama pengelola pariwisata untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan dengan program Sapta Pesona, menata jalur cycling termasuk pembuatan beberapa signage dan mendisain atraksi Camping Ground. Kunjungan awal sudah dilakukan dan pihak desa meminta PNB untuk bisa mendampingi pengembangan Desa Wisata Sesaot melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pendampingan yang dilakukan adalah, pemetaan potensi daya Tarik wisata yang mungkin bisa dikembangkan menjadi daya Tarik wisata unggulan, pelatihan SDM pengelola pariwisata, dan penataan wisata cycling serta pemasangan papan penunjuk arah.

Abstract

Desa Pusuk Lestari merupakan desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Lokasinya yang terletak di kawasan hutan lindung atau kawasan taman nasional, berupa sungai, hutan, dan air terjun berpotensi untuk atraksi cycling maupun tracking. Selain itu juga potensi wisata kuliner seperti jajanan bernama bantal dan bebiting. Berdasarkan observasi belum adanya pemetaan potensi daya tarik wisata yang potensial menjadi produk wisata yang mencirikan keunikan Desa Pusuk Lestari. Potensi alam yang berada disisi hutan lindung masih belum ditangani dengan baik seperti belum adanya rambu jalan menuju sungai, hutan, dan air terjun berpotensi untuk atraksi cycling. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah membantu masyarakat terutama pengelola pariwisata untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan dengan program sapta pesona, menata jalur menuju hutan lindung termasuk pembuatan beberapa papan penunjuk arah. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini melakukan sosialisasi peranan pokdarwis dalam pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan kepada pengelola pariwisata, membuat papan petunjuk arah jalur menuju daya tarik wisata Hutan Lindung Desa Pusuk Lestari, serta bekerja sama untuk mengumpulkan data, menganalisis, menyusun draf, dan menetapkan potensi DTW di Pusuk Lestari. Hasil dari pengabdian adalah meningkatnya pemahaman stakeholder akan peranan Pokdarwis dalam pengembangan pariwisata dan tersedianya hasil pemetaan potensi daya tarik wisata agar bisa disusun produk wisata unggulan Desa Pusuk Lestari. Kata Kunci: Daya tarik wisata, wisata alam, hutan lindung, wisata kuliner.

Abstract

Dalam pengembangan pariwisata perlu memperhatikan potensi dan daya tarik wisata di desa yang bersangkutan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperdayakan potensi dan daya tarik wisata yang ada di desa Batuagung dalam mendukung pengembangan wisata Tirta melalui berbagai penguatan yang terkaitan dengan: penataan jalur trekking, pelatihan kuliner, pelatihan etika profesi dan dengan pendampingan manajemen. Metode pelaksanaannya terdiri atas: observasi dan diskusi pembuatan disain jalur trekking, papan petunjuk arah, serta memberikan pelatihan kuliner dan etika profesi. Berdasarkan observasi awal ada beberapa potensi dan daya tarik wisata di desa Batuagung yang belum ditangani dengan baik seperti: 1) puncak JR (Jumpa Remaja); 2) monumen perjuangan yang bersejarah; 3) pemandangan alam yang indah dan hijau; 4) Sungai Tukadaya dengan air yang bening dan bersih arus yang cukup deras dengan batu yang besar-besar; dan 5) kurangnya kualitas sumber daya manusia yang berkaitan dengan penyediaan dan pelayanaan produk wisata kuliner. Dalam pemberdayaan potensi dan daya tarik wisata yang ada di desa Batuagung yang dilakukan melalui berbagai penguatan, ada beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan, meliputi: 1) rapat persiapan kelengkapan perjalanan seperti surat tugas, absensi, pembagian tugas dan jadwal yang disepakati untuk terjun kelapangan; 2) penataan jalur trekking, menentukan titik signage membuat dan memasang signage; 3) pelatihan etika profesi kepada pedagang dan pengelola pariwisata; dan 4) pelatihan kuliner dengan bahan baku lokal kepada pedagang dan ibu-ibu anggota PKK. Dengan adanya berbagai penguatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan popularitas wisata tirta serta meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat Batuagung.
