Abstract

In general this research aims at knowing tourist perception toward the service provided by the small (melati) hotels around Ubud area;  knowing the most influential indicators toward the service of small (melati) hotels in Ubud area. Total samples of the research area 38 melati hotels, while total of respondents are 399 tourists. Researched variables/indicators are 21 indicators wich are related to service dimensions (servqual), namely direct form/proof dimensions tangible, reliability, responsivenees, assurance, and empathy. Analysis applied for this research is the frequency distribution to know how important or how good the service is offered, and performance-importance analysis to rank all the quality determining variables and to indentify actions.The result of servqual analysis shows that all variables/indicators indicate satisfying performances, in which average scores of perception (performance) are bigger than average scores of expectation (necessity) which means satisfied. Therefore, it can be said that guests staying at melati hotels in Ubud area state that the hotel services are satisfying. The result of the importance-performance analysis shows that from 21 variables/indicators evaluated, none of the service indicator exists on quadrant 1 (main priority), 10 service indicators exist on quadrant 2 (maintain achievement), 8 indicators exist on quadrant 3 (low priority), and 3 indicators exist on quadrant 4 (excessive). Whereas, the service indicators of melati hotels which are most influential according to guest evaluation, are such those shown in quadrant 2, namely: commitment realization, sympathetic attitude towards guests, service offered rightly, service offered at the time agreed, accurate noting system, staff willing to assist guests, reliable staff, comfortable feeling on transaction, friendly attitude of staff, and well-knowledgeable staff.

Abstract

The development of a travel bureau as one component of the Bali Tourism is growing very rapidly, causing a very tight competition between companies tersebut.Penelitian Travel Bureau aims to provide information to the Company, Travel Bureau tour of the trend factors that affect foreign tourists buying package tour.dari The research concludes that factors - factors that influence trends of foreign tourists buy a package tour, the biggest factor for competitive advantage and other factors: tourist attraction, motivation, competence, service, value added, information security, technology, personalities. From the results of this study is expected to entrepreneurs in arranging tour packages should be able to pay attention to these factors.

Abstract

Development of tourism pattern known as the "Community Base Tourism" is the tourism development around the tourist activity takes place and mingle with the rural communities. The added value gained from the development of community-based tourism / rural are (1) the rural population can serve as actors, they can provide shelter for tourists, provision of food and beverages, laundry services, business services transportation, and other services. (2) Increasing consumption of local products (vegetables, fruits, crafts, traditional foods, and others, working sethingga will drive business continuity and locality-based tradition. (3) Encourage the empowerment of local labor, such as the provider of the art attraction culture, crafts, etc.). Abstract

Petitenget area is known for tourist region where villas are established for accomodating guests.  This study is aimed to determine what factors affect guests staying at villas in Petitenget area. The results of this study show that factors influenceing guests staying at villas in Petitenget area are classified into 4 factors. These factors include a) the competence factor has eigenvalue of 10.8065 and with the highest value variance of the percentage of 51.4593% for the guests’ decision to stay at the villa. b) Personal factor has eigenvalue of 1.626 and the highest variance value of the percentage of 7.7442% for guests to stay at the villa. c) Image factor has eigenvalue of 1.371 and the highest percentage of 6.5289% variance for guests to stay at the villa. d) Capability factor has eigenvalue of 1.295 and the highest variance value of the percentage of 6.1651% for guests to stay at the villa. The dominant factor influencing guests to stay at the villa in Petinget area is a competence factor. In order to sustain the existence of the villa in Petitenget area, it is recommended that villa should pay attention on the dominant factors and other factors that affect the guests stay at the villa. Other things need to be considered is eestablishing good and intensive cooperation with the local communities and police department. The establishment of the community business Petitenget area can be done in the region to realize a comfortable, safe and clean villa. Improving the quality of human resources remains a priority in order to improve the quality of care. Besides that, consistent promotion both through internet and other media as well as mutual partnership with travel agents and working together with the Badung regency are important, particulary in term of regulations to make the area of Petitenget as a sustainable region for villa establishment.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effects of servicescapes to the responses of the customers and waiters at food and beverage service in Café de Dapoer, The Oasis Lagoon Sanur. The change in physical environment including renovation, rejuvenation, as well as the changing design and concept of Café de Dapoer, attracted the researchers to conduct deeper analysis. Independent variable of analysis was the servicescapes (X), while the dependent variables were the response of the waiters (Y1), and the response of the customers (Y2) at Café de Dapoer, The Oasis Lagoon Sanur. The respondents of this research were 20 waiters and 40 customers at Café de Dapoer, The Oasis Lagoon Sanur. The method of census was used to collect samples from the waiters, while jugmental sampling was used to collect samples from the customers, with certain conditions. The technique of data collection used questionnaires with semantic differential scale. The research instruments were tested using validity test, reliability test, and normality test. Hypothesis testing applied the partial t test and the average comparison analysis. From the result of simple regression analysis, it could be concluded that the entire variables of servicescapes had positive and significant effects, both to the response of the waiters (97.1% were effected by servicescapes variables and 2.9% were effected by other variables) and to the reponse of the customers (64.3% were effected by servicescapes variables and 35.7% were effected by other variables). From the result of mean comparison, the response of the waiters was positively higher, that was 0.1799, compared to the response of the customer. The findings showed there were some factors with the values under the average standard, such as the temperature, air quality, lightning, function, signage, style of décor, fear, physical fit, afflication, and staylonger, which were later used as the base of evaluation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sistem penentuan karyawan terbaik tahun ini di Hotel Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali dan mengetahui persepsi karyawan tentang sistem indikator penentuan karyawan terbaik. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif, sedangkan sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan kuesioner menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan 156 sampel dari 225 pupulasi. Dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah validitas, reliabilitas, dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem penentuan karyawan terbaik di Hotel Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali menggunakan sistem formal yaitu penilaian seseorang yang memiliki wewenang formal untuk menilai bawahannya dan memiliki hak untuk menerapkan kebijakan lebih lanjut kepada karyawan tersebut, jadi penilaian formal ini akan menentukan apakah karyawan akan bergerak secara vertikal / horizontal, diberhentikan, atau layanan yang dikembalikan akan dinaikkan. Berdasarkan perhitungan skala likert dari 156 responden untuk lima indikator yaitu Relevansi, Sensitivitas, Keandalan, Akseptabilitas, dan Praktis memperoleh rata-rata di kisaran 3,8-4,2, yang berarti bahwa setiap indikator dianggap baik oleh karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mengetahui Potensi daya tarik wisata yang dimiliki desa Kaba-kaba, kondisi Pengelolaan desa wisata Kaba-kaba dilihat dari Perencanaan, Pengorganisasian, Pengarahan, Pengawasan dan katagori Desa Wisata Kaba-kaba jika dievaluasi berdasarkan ketentuan kementrian Pariwisata tentang klasifikasi Desa wisata. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi , wawancara dengan para pemangku kepentingan pengembangan desa wisata Kaba-Kaba dan dokumentasi.Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa kaba-kaba memiliki memiliki potensi daya tarik wisata dari alamberupa lahan pertanian, sumberair, dari budaya berupa peninggalan kerajan kaba-Kaba, aktivitas sosial masyarakat seperti bertani, pande besi dan upacara adat dan keagamaan.Pengelolaan Desa wisata belum berjalan maksimal walaupun telah terbentuk Kelompok Sadar wisata, perencanan belum ada ,aktivitas pengelolaan masih dibawah kendali satu orang, pengawasan belum berjalan maksimal, partisipasi masyarakat belum optimal,Katagori desawisata Kaba-Kaba adalah masih kata gori Desa wisata perintisan

Abstract

Di Era Pandemi Covid-19, pemberdayaan masyarakat desa berbasis pendampingan merupakan program yang sangat efektif dan efisien dalam meningkatkan kualitas desa wisata. Pendampingan dirasakan efektif karena relasi pendamping dengan masyarakat sangat dekat, durasi waktu pendampingan relatif lama, materi pelatihan beorientasi pada kebutuhan masyarakat dan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat di dalam pendampingan tinggi, materi dan target pemberdayaan lebih terencana. Adapun desa wisata yang akan dilakukan pendampingan adalah Desa Kaba-Kaba, Kabupaten Tabanan, Provinsi Bali. Desa Kaba-Kaba merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi daya tarik wisata alam dan sosial budaya yang cukup memadai sebagai bagian produk desa wisata. Akan tetapi akibat adanya wabah pandemi covid-19, seluruh desa wisata wajib menjalankan protokol kesehatan, termasuk Desa Wisata Kaba-Kaba. Walaupun Desa Wisata Kaba-Kaba sudah ditetapkan sebagai Desa Wisata pada tahun 20016, dalam pengembangannya kemampuan dan komitmen dari sumber daya manusianya masih sangat rendah. Bahkan dalam menjalankan kesiapan pengelolaan Desa wisata yang berorientasi bersih, sehat, aman dan ramah terhadap lingkungan belum optimal dijalankan. Oleh kerannya diperlukan pelatihan dan pendampingan di Desa Wisata Kaba-Kaba. Sasaran pelatihan adalah masyarakat Desa Kaba-Kaba sebanyak 20 peserta. Masyarakat ini merupakan masyarakat yang berperan aktif dalam pengembangan desa wisata. Target dari program pelatihan ini adalah mampu mendidik peserta sebanyak 20 orang masyarakat dengan kompetensi yang dihasilkan mampu menjelaskan konsep dan implementasi CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environment). Program pelatihan dilaksanakan di Hotel Puri Saron Kota Denpasar dengan dibantu oleh Direktorat Pengembangan SDM Pariwisata dalam menyediakan fasilitas penyelenggaraan Bimbingan Teknis. Setelah kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan tahapan pendampingan ke masyarakat desa dalam mengimplemetasi program CHSE. Tahap awal program pendampingan adalah memberikan dukungan sarana prasaran seperti thermogun, hand sanitizer dan wastafel portabel. Sarana prasarana ini merupakan hal mendasar yang mampu mengedukasi masyarakat dalam menjalankan protokol kesehatan. Tahap selanjutnya memberikan simulasi penerapan standar protokol kesehatan dengan penggunaan peralatan yang telah diberikan pada saat penerimaan wisatawan di desa wisata.

Abstract

Peningkatan daya saing UKM kopi penunjang pengembangan Pelaga Agrotourism Park berbasis masyarakat sangat diperlukan sebagai usaha pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Melalui kegiatan-kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan yang terarah sesuai dengan prioritas kebutuhan mitra diharapkan Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM) yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis Internasional ini dapat mencapai target yang dicapai. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan sumberdaya manusia dalam mengelola destinasi agrowisata berbasis masyarakat melalui peran aktif  pemangku kepentingan yang ada di desa Pelaga termasuk UKM kopi. Melalui pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana telah berhasil dilakukan peningkatan hyginitas proses produksi dan perbaikan kemasan produk kopi bubuk dengan menggunakan label Pelaga Agrotourism Park. Kerjasama pemasaran dengan Koperasi Pegawai Negeri dan promosi melalui media sosial juga telah dilakukan, dan berdampak pada peningkatan produksi sekaligus peningkatan pendapatan.

Abstract

The development of tourist village is a government policy that is expected to improve the economy of the community, expanding the employment vacancies, alleviating poverty. Expanding the employment vacancies that lead to improve the welfare of rural communities. The purpose of this study is to determine the perception and participation of local people in Paksebali in the development of smart eco-village destination in the tourist village of Paksebali, Dawan subdistrict, Klungkung regency. The approach is done by distributing to 30 respondents (Purposive sampling).The collected data were primary and secondary data with the techniques are observation, interview and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study shows that the public perception of the development of smart eco-village Paksebali tourist village is the the public generally has known about the development of tourist villages. The community very agree and support by implementing the sapta pesona (seven ways of enchantment). People hope that the development of tourist village can promote the village and improve the welfare of their life. Community participation in the development of tourist village is done started from planning, developing facilities and infrastructure, managing, and monitoring and evaluation.
