Abstract

This study was aimed to identify and find out how the form, function and meaning of Sanak Butino traditional clothing worn at the Kenduri Sko event in Gunung Kerinci Sub-district. Type of research used was qualitative research with descriptive approach, using interview techniques with informants were several of Sanak Butino in Gunung Kerinci Sub-district. Based on research result, it is known that Sanak Butino traditional clothing consist of several parts, namely baju teluk balango, terap songket, selendang, kuluk/sungkun, tirai pabung, bungo aut, and jangki/bakun. The function of this traditional clothing as the identity of a Sanak Butino. In this traditional clothing there are meaning about social life values based on customary and religious law.

Abstract

This work visualizes the verses of the Koran in Surah Al-Kahf which contain the meaning of the story of Ashhabul Kahf in the form of Islamic calligraphy painting and applies painting techniques and sharpens the imagination. The purpose of this work is to preach directly to oneself, appreciators and the general public. The method of creating this work follows five stages, namely: preparation, where the author makes observations and exploration to gain inspiration. Then, at the elaboration stage, relevant references are searched and collected. The third stage, synthesis, involves applying the ideas and main ideas that have been generated. Next, at the concept realization stage, the final work is created based on the previously designed concept. Finally, at the completion stage, the work is exhibited and a report is created that covers the entire process from start to finish. In creating the work, the author uses the Krita application as a technique in creating digital painting works. Each work displays a guitar object consisting of ten works with the title,; "Ashabul Khafi", "Trying to Leave His People", "Greatness of Allah", "Waking Up a Long Sleep", "Promise of Allah", "Number of Ashhabul Kahfi", "Rasulullah SAW", "God willing", "300 + 9", "Say it."

Abstract

Art lecturers are challenged to maximize the quality of the work produced by students. Lecturers need a long time to prepare the learning equipment. At the same time, the activities that have to be completed are not only teaching but also researching and implementing community service as well. This article describes how realizing such efforts starts with the lecturers themselves. One of the strategies used to create such a work is to make appropriations. Various sources of reading and events triggered the spirit of the lecturer and spread it to the students. The artistic ideas that can be used to stimulate come from music, literature, and even medicine. The method used in this report is art-based research. It is believed that the process of drawing and building a new structure of the existing work has also succeeded in shortening the time and saving the cost of money. As a result, when a lecturer produces one product, students can develop it into more than two to three varied alternatives. This spirit is an important part of transforming the values of new creativity in art and cultural education. It is highly recommended that lecturers make their work a learning medium before adding other sources and references. To enhance student learning, institutions of higher education must prioritize the development and support of their lecturers. Keywords: acceleration, product, appropriation, artwork, education.

Abstract

Dewasa ini perkembangan internet semakin pesat dan merambah ke beberapa bidang, tidak terkecuali bidang pendidikan. Media pembelajaran juga ikut berkembang dan memunculkan Jejaring Sosial Pembelajaran (Social Learning Network). Untuk memperoleh proses pembelajaran yang efektif, guru harus memiliki media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik, namun permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses belajar mengajar di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Solok bahwa guru-guru belum memiliki kemampuan dalam merancang media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia sehingga pembelajaran masih belum memotivasi siswa. Hal inilah yang dialami oleh guru-guru SMP Negeri 1 Kota Solok. Untuk itu bidang Seni Budaya berinisiatif memberikan pelatihan Peningkatan Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Bagi Guru-Guru SMP Negeri 1 Kota Solok. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Solok, Peserta pelatihan ini adalah 24 orang yang semuanya merupakan guru SMP Negeri 1 Kota Solok. Evaluasi dari pelatihan ini berdasarkan atas pemahaman peserta pelatihan pada setiap sesi. Pelatihan ini telah memberikan hasil yang sangat berarti dan signifikan bagi guru dan kepala sekolah dengan indikator: 1) terjadi peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia, 2) peserta telah mampu merancang media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dengan berbagai desain yang menarik pada masing-masing mata pelajaran yang diampu.

Abstract

The emerging problem is the low learning outcomes of the students, and the teaching media used by the teacher, such as PowerPoint and videos on painting practices, are still not perceived to enhance the students' understanding. The students' lack of interest in reading printed books.This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The goal of this study is to create digital teaching materials based on a flipbook maker for painting subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman and to determine the validity and practicality levels of the digital teaching materials based on a flipbook maker for painting subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The research methodology uses a research and development (R&D) design, which is a study that systematically designs and develops it. The ADDIE model, which stands for assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate, is used in the instructional design methodology. The data collection technique in this study involved interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the material validation obtained scores of 83.7%, design expert 85.4%, and language expert 85.3%, all categorized as very valid. The results conclude that the digital teaching materials are suitable for being tested on students of painting material at SMPN 2 Pariaman. The results of the student questionnaire on a small scale were 85.7% and on a large scale 98.09% regarding the use of digital teaching materials in painting, which the researcher developed. It can be concluded that these digital teaching materials received good results, making them practical and appropriate for use in the visual arts education process, specifically in painting.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menjadi kebutuhan mendesak bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk bertahan dan berkembang di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM Kerajinan Anak Nagari Ceta Bacorak Kumanis melalui pelatihan teknik fotografi produk dan digital marketing. Metode yang digunakan meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan/workshop, latihan terbimbing, serta praktik langsung. Pelatihan fotografi dilakukan menggunakan smartphone dengan materi pencahayaan, komposisi visual, dan pengeditan sederhana, sedangkan pelatihan digital marketing mencakup optimasi toko online, konten promosi, SEO, dan iklan digital. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam menghasilkan konten visual dan memasarkan produk secara berani melalui platform seperti Tokopedia dan media sosial. Evaluasi melalui observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan partisipasi aktif, antusiasme tinggi, dan penerapan keterampilan secara langsung. Program ini terbukti efektif mendukung digitalisasi UMKM dan meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal di pasar digital.

Abstract

The purpose of making this final work is to create and introduce creative ideas for textile crafts using macrame techniques as the completion of the final work. Then introduce the general public to what macrame is, and later it will be taught as a display idea in the room which has the function of decorating mirrors. The methods used in making this final work are the preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, concept realization stage, and completion stage. Based on the method that has been carried out, seven sunflower works have been realized as ideas for creating textile works using macrame techniques with the following work titles: first work, "Giant Sun Gold". Second, "Teddy Bear". Third, "Fiesta Del Sol". Fourth, “Cherry Rose”. Fifth, “Early Russian”. Sixth, “Red Sun”. Seventh, “Moonwalker”.

Abstract

Ceta Bacorak salah satu produk unggulan dari Kabupaten Sijunjung yang memiliki potensi yang tinggi menjadi produk unggulan daerah, akan tetapi terdapat berbagai hambatan yang di alami oleh kelompok Kerajinan  Anak Nagari Ceta Bacorak Kumanis untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut baik itu dalam aspek produksi, pemasaran, maupun manajemen usaha. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengurangi masalah atau hambatan yang dihadapi adalah dengan melatih kelompok kerajinan ceta bacorak dengan skill dan desain inovasi motif ceta bacorak yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Program Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah ini melibatkan kelompok Kerajinan  Anak Nagari Ceta Bacorak Kumanis yang dilaksanakan dengan metode pendamping melalui pelatihan, workshop, latihan terbimbing, praktek, dan FGD. Hasil pengabdian dapat dikatakan efektif karena telah mencapai tujuan dari kegiatan ini. Hasil pelatihan memberikan skill nyata kepada mitra terhadap membuat inovasi motif dan produk turunan ceta bacorak.

Abstract

This final project aims to visualize the distinctive characteristics of Rejang Lebong through the application of the Kaganga script in batik painting artworks. The creation of this work is motivated by the intention to preserve the Kaganga script, which has become less known to the public, and to introduce the cultural and natural richness of Rejang Lebong to younger generations. The creative process consists of five stages: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, realization, and completion. The artworks were created using primissima mori fabric measuring 50×45 cm, employing the batik painting technique with Remazol dyes through the colet method, and color fixation using waterglass to strengthen and preserve color durability. The final result consists of ten batik paintings depicting distinctive objects of Rejang Lebong such as the Rafflesia flower, Kibut flower, Danau Mas, traditional Rejang house, keris, Bukit Kaba, lemea, cerano, and traditional clothing, with the Kaganga script applied as supporting motifs and isen-isen to enhance the aesthetic value. These artworks implement visual elements and design principles such as line, form, color, texture, unity, balance, proportion, rhythm, and contrast, resulting in harmonious and visually appealing compositions. Through this work, it is expected that society will gain a deeper appreciation and awareness of Rejang Lebong’s local culture and the importance of preserving regional cultural heritage.
