Abstract

One effort to increase food security is to increase rice production by providing adequate nutrition to rice plants with organic fertilizers and growth regulators (PGR). The aim of this study was to measure the growth and production of black rice (black oryza), as well as the distribution of the average plus or minus data through the treatment of various concentrations of PGR and doses of organic fertilizer. The research design was a two-factor factorial randomized block design. The first factor of PGR concentration (Z) consisting of 5, namely 0 (Z0), 1 (Z1), 1.5 (Z2), 2 (Z3) and 2.5 (Z4) ml/L of water. The second factor of organic fertilizer (P) consisting of 5, namely 0 (P0), 1 (P1), 2 (P2), 3 (P3) and 4 (P4) tons/ha. The treatment was repeated 5 times so that 125 experimental units were provided. The best grain yield 47.03 g/panicle was resulted from a single effect of PGR treatment at a concentration of 2 ml/L, whereas single treatment using organic fertilizer at a dose of 4 ton/ha produced grain of 46.23 g/panicle. The best combination of PGR concentration of 2 ml/L of water with organic fertilizer 4 tons/ha, resulted the highest grain yield of 50.24 g/panicle, equivalent to average dry harvested grain of 5.02 ton/ha or 3.26 ton/ha of dry unhusked grain. The distribution of the average plus minus data is good with a low average distribution for all measurement components. Keywords: Black Cempo, Harvested Dry Rice, Dry Unhulled Grain, Growth Hormone, Nutrition

Abstract

Shallot production and productivity of Indonesia is still low; thus, needs to be increased by providing biological organic fertilizers (POH) and growth regulators (ZPT). The research was carried out in the Covid-19 Pandemic Area from December 2019 to March 2020 in Talotenreng Village, Wajo Regency. The aim of this study was to determine the shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) productivity by using POH and ZPT. Two experimental factors with the Randomized Block Design were used as method for this study. The first factor was the POH (P) concentration of 0 ml liter of water-1, 10 ml liter of water-1, 20 ml liter of water-1, and 30 liter of water-1. The second factor was the ZPT concentration (Z) of 0 ml liter of water-1, 1.0 ml liter of water-1, 1.5 ml liter of water-1, and 2.0 ml liter of water-1. The experimental results showed that the POH concentration significantly affected the weight of fresh blubs per plot and the concentration of growth regulators had a significant effect on the number of bulbs per plot and the productivity of shallots as much as 8.09 t ha-1.

Abstract

Water hyacinth is a type of plant that grows in freshwater environments. This plant is an ideal raw material to produce bokashi which increases the availability of soil nutrients. To maximize the function of the water hyacinth bokashi, a growth regulator is used to encourage plant upatake of soil nutrients. This study aimed to examine the single effect and interaction between water hyacinth bokashi (BHW) and plant growth regulators (PGR) on black rice. Data were analyzed with a factorial randomized block design. The first factor is WHB (B) 0 ha-1 and 2 t ha-1, while the second factor is PGR (Z) 0 ppm and 1.5 ppm. The results showed that the best effect of grain weight per hectare was treatment with WHB 2 t ha-1, PGR 1.5 ppm, and their interactions were 10.34 t ha-1; 11.09 t ha-1, and 12.16 t ha-1 harvested dry rice

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of factors of production on rice productivity. The number of respondents in this research were 31 farmers who were taken randomly. This study used proportional parameter testing and multiple linear regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. This research has normal distribution, free from multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity problems multiple linear regression analysis can be performed. The results of the analysis show that the results of the R2 test show that 83.9% of the variation in rice productivity can be explained by the five independent variables while the remaining 16.1% is explained by other factors not included in the model. The results of the F test show that the independent variables jointly affect rice productivity. The results of the t test showed that land area, seeds, labor, pesticides had a significant positive effect, while fertilizer had a significant negative effect on rice productivity.

Abstract

Fermented cow dung has high fiber and moisture content, and improves soil porosity and fertility. The experiment was carried out in Ujung Village, Lilirilau District, Soppeng Regency, from January to May 2022. The aim of the experiment was to determine the growth and production of mustard greens due to the administration of POC fermented cow dung. This study was arranged using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 groups. The variables consisted of cow manure liquid organic fertilizer P0 (0 ml/L water), P1 (25 ml/L water), P2(50 ml/L water), P3 (75 ml/L water), P4 liquid (100 ml/ L of water), the application time consists of 2 levels: 10 HST, 20 HST, 30 HST. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight per sample. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the effect of a dose of 100 ml/L of water tended to show the best growth and production of the observed parameter components

Abstract

Moringa plants have the potential as raw materials for value-added products, such as processed foods, beverages, health supplements, cosmetics, and others. Citali Village has the potential to become a Moringa village. However, it has obstacles in the mindset of the community toward Moringa. They still think that Moringa is for mystical things. This service aims to change people's attitudes about Moringa and make people able to process Moringa into a product. This service method uses the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach. As a result of this dedication, the people of Citali village have understood the benefits and how to cultivate and process Moringa into a product; it is hoped that it can improve the welfare of the people of Citali village. The impact of this community service activity is that the people of Citali Village can understand and better understand what Moringa is in a more positive and modern way and can process Moringa into a valuable product.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of using various learning models in learning at school. In learning students tend to be passive and only act as recipients of information from the teacher. In addition, the learning model used by teachers is still conventional or teacher-centered. The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on students' learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative experiment. While the population of this study were MA class students. Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Malang, with a sampling technique that is saturated sampling. The data collection technique used is documentation of student scores and questionnaires. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis that the Problem Based Learning Model influences Aqidah Akhlaq Learning Outcomes at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum, according to the records of the Aqidah Akhlaq subject teacher scores show an average value of 77.4 which is included in the very good category. So, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlaq subject at Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Malang are influenced by one of the learning models, namely Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

This community service was carried out in a number of villages, namely Sukaramai Satu Medan Area village, Wonosari Gempol village, and Gerit Pati village for 40 days by finding problems and solutions as follows. During the forty days of the field service, the service providers implemented vegetable and fruit standards as recommended by the Ministry of Health. The service providers not only socialized the village community theoretically, but also directly provided practices according to the financial capabilities of the service providers. Thus, the service providers believe that education on food consumption with balanced nutrition can create superior human resources in the village.
