Abstract

The main objective of this study is to provide an in-depth understanding of how solvency and liquidity ratios affect a company's ability to use its assets efficiently in generating profits, as well as to make useful contributions to managerial decision making and evaluation of company performance. Several indicators in the study were studied to analyze the determination of the solvency ratio consisting of (Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio) and liquidity ratio (Current Ratio) to Return on Assets (ROA) with a sample of several large industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a period of 2015 2020. Research with test analysis techniques analysis of test selection of Test models (chow, hausman and langrange multiplier), classical assumption test with Multicollinearity and Heteroscedasticity, Regression Test panel data, Correlation Test and hypothesis testing (partial / t-Test and simultaneous / F-Test). The results of research through partial tests and simultaneous tests with the main focus of industrial companies resulted in that the three variations of DAR, DER and CR had no influence on the Return on Assets of the company objects sampled.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mengkaji integrasi soft skills dalam pendidikan ekonomi, menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak akan pengembangan soft skills sebagai bagian integral dari kurikulum ekonomi. Dengan menerapkan metode PRISMA, penelitian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi dan mereview 45 studi relevan, yang mengeksplorasi berbagai strategi pengajaran dan pembelajaran untuk mengintegrasikan soft skills dan dampaknya terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada kerja sama, komunikasi, pemecahan masalah, dan berpikir kritis secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi soft skills mahasiswa, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kesiapan mereka menghadapi tantangan pasar kerja abad ke-21. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan adanya tantangan dalam integrasi soft skills, termasuk resistensi dari para pendidik dan mahasiswa, serta kesulitan dalam penilaian kemampuan soft skills. Berdasarkan temuan ini, peneliti mengusulkan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan efektif dalam mengintegrasikan soft skills dalam pendidikan ekonomi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap literatur pendidikan ekonomi dan menawarkan wawasan praktis bagi para pendidik, pembuat kebijakan, dan pemangku kepentingan dalam Pendidikan

Abstract

This study aims to address this gap by exploring innovative strategies to enhance community capacity, thereby promoting sustainable tourism that benefits both the environment and the local economy. Sustainable tourism has gained prominence in both academic research and industry practice over the past decade, particularly in regions like Ciwidey, West Java, where natural beauty attracts a growing number of tourists. This increase in tourism brings both economic opportunities and significant environmental and social challenges, creating a need to balance economic growth with environmental preservation and community welfare. While existing literature emphasizes the importance of sustainable tourism, there is a noticeable gap in understanding how to build community capacity to manage these challenges effectively. Previous studies have often treated economic, social, and environmental aspects separately, lacking a comprehensive approach that integrates all three dimensions in a local context like Ciwidey. Given the strain on Ciwidey’s natural resources and the uneven distribution of tourism benefits, it is urgent to develop strategies that ensure equitable and sustainable economic development. By focusing on these issues, the research seeks to provide practical solutions that empower local communities to actively participate in and benefit from sustainable tourism. The study found that despite a growing awareness of sustainable tourism, significant barriers remain, such as limited resources and a lack of education and training. The success of sustainable tourism initiatives in Ciwidey depends largely on the community’s ability to engage effectively and take full advantage of the opportunities presented by inclusive tourism.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is a crucial aspect in shaping students' character from an early age, particularly in addressing the increasingly complex global challenges. This study explores the implementation and impact of entrepreneurship education at SMK Negeri 1 Jombang. The aim of this research is to identify the influence of this program on the development of students' entrepreneurial spirit, including self-confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The methods used include participatory observation and in-depth interviews with students and teachers. The findings reveal that entrepreneurship education enhances students' critical thinking and initiative-taking abilities, as evidenced by their confidence in presenting business ideas and product innovations. The program also facilitates students in becoming more proactive, independent, and competitive in entrepreneurial activities. Furthermore, collaborations with local communities and entrepreneurs provide relevant practical insights. Based on these findings, it is recommended that other schools integrate entrepreneurship education as an integral part of their curriculum to foster innovative and work-ready young generations. This research also contributes significantly to the educational literature by offering practical and context-based approaches to support character development in students.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools must be able to compete in the economic world so that they need entrepreneurship education to support them in the future, especially in Jombang as a student city. This study aims to reveal the implementation of education in Jombang Regency so far. The method is qualitative by conducting literature studies and data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation as well as analytical techniques in the form of reduction data, display data and drawing conclusions. The results show that the planning is carried out by establishing policies, rules and strategic designs of educational activities. Its organization by establishing the organizational structure of education and its tasks, the main and functions of each, the duration of training, the setting of targets and goals. Its implementation includes the determination of comprehensive and detailed activity achievement indicators so that the weaknesses and advantages of local wisdom products or related business units are known. Control and supervision are carried out routinely and actively accompanied by certain records in the field so that they can be used as evaluation material and can be followed up to become better.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education plays a role in supporting the green economy by developing students who are innovative, independent, and socially responsible. These traits are essential for fostering sustainable business practices, innovation drives the creation of environmentally friendly solutions, independence drives proactive action in addressing environmental challenges, and social responsibility ensures appropriate decision-making with long term ecological impacts. This study examines the effect of a project-based learning model that integrates entrepreneurship and environmental desires on students' entrepreneurial character. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 400 high school students in East Java and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using AMOS. The findings indicate that education significantly increases awareness of green economy principles and supports students' entrepreneurship. However, although entrepreneurial character is positively associated with students' entrepreneurship, the relationship is not statistically significant. Similarly, the green economy contributes to character development, although its direct impact on entrepreneurship is also insignificant. These results highlight the importance of instilling green economy principles in entrepreneurship education as a foundation for building a generation of entrepreneurs committed to innovation, independence, and environmental responsibility.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the shortcuts to stimulate the economic development of a community. However, the significant growth potential is also accompanied by various risks, including negative impacts on social, cultural, and even economic aspects. This prompted the community in Dieng Kulon village to adopt a different approach in response to the rapid tourism development in the Dieng Plateau. Using a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach, this article aims to explore how social solidarity-based empowerment of the Muslim community is implemented in the management system of Sharia homestay in Dieng Kulon village. The findings of this study indicate that social solidarity-based empowerment in the management system of Sharia homestay can be successful because the community possesses social capital in the form of land assets, as well as social solidarity in the form of trust, mutual assistance, and mutually beneficial cooperation. Furthermore, the social solidarity is derived from two factors: genetic, as most of the Dieng Kulon community is still bound by kinship ties (family); and even if not through kinship, there is a sense of shared identity as natives of Dieng Kulon. These factors bind the community of Sharia homestay entrepreneurs in Dieng Kulon to remain committed to achieving shared welfare while upholding Islamic values, norms, and teachings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model manajemen POIME (Planning, Organizing, Implementing, Monitoring, Evaluating) dalam mendukung pemenuhan Delapan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP) di sekolah dasar yang berada di Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) dan Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, yaitu survei kuantitatif yang melibatkan 98 kepala sekolah dan wawancara kualitatif untuk menggali faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas penerapan POIME. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan POIME lebih efektif di Jawa Barat, didukung oleh infrastruktur yang lebih baik dan partisipasi masyarakat yang lebih tinggi. Sebaliknya, di NAD, efektivitas penerapannya terbatas oleh keterbatasan sumber daya, seperti fasilitas yang kurang memadai dan partisipasi masyarakat yang rendah. Faktor sosial-budaya dan geografis juga berperan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan penerapan POIME di kedua wilayah. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya keterlibatan masyarakat lokal dan ketersediaan sumber daya dalam meningkatkan manajemen pendidikan. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya mencakup penyelidikan lebih lanjut tentang dinamika sosial-budaya yang mempengaruhi penerapan POIME dan evaluasi dampak jangka panjang untuk mengukur efektivitasnya seiring waktu. Selain itu, saran praktis diberikan untuk meningkatkan peran kepemimpinan sekolah dan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam mendukung pencapaian Delapan Standar Nasional Pendidikan di kedua wilayah tersebut.
