Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi di era digital harus dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran kimia. Di era digital ini, penggunaan laboratorium virtual dapat menggantikan laboratorium nyata sebagai sarana untuk membuktikan teori, hukum, dan konsep kimia. Kajian ini menelaah berbagai platform laboratorium virtual yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia. Platform laboratorium virtual yang dikaji dalam artikel ini adalah Chemcollective, Laboratorium Maya, PhET, dan Olabs. Setiap platform laboratorium virtual yang dikaji memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan, sehingga informasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi guru dalam memilih platform laboratorium virtual yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran kimia yang telah dirancang.

Abstract

Siswa dengan kesulitan belajar matematika kerap kali beranggapan bahwa pembelajaran matematika tidaklah mudah. Kesulitan belajar yang sering dialami oleh siswa kelas II SD yaitu kebingungan saat mengerjakan soal-soal yang berkaitan dengan operasi hitung penjumlahan dan penguran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa kesulitan belajar matematika yang dialami siswa dan faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar tersebut serta upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika di kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif metode deskriptif. Subyek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IIA sebanyak 10 orang dan guru kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi dan wawancara secara langsung dengan subjek. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IIA yang berjumlah 10 siswa, 9 siswa diantaranya mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan yang dinilai berdasarkan 3 aspek yaitu kesulitan belajar matematika, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar matematika, upaya pemecahan kesulitan belajar matematika.

Abstract

Chemistry learning oriented to local natural resources around students presents real situations that can help students to understand the concepts of learning material being studied. This research aims to identify the chemical concepts involved in the process of palm oil production for developing contextual chemistry learning materials based on local natural resources. This research used descriptive quantitative research. Data were collected from field observation, literature study and documentation study. The relevance of chemical concepts and the context of palm oil processing were assessed by the validators. Based on the finding, there are 3 chemical concepts related to the palm fruit processing into crude palm oil (CPO), namely: classification of matter,change of matter, and separation of mixture. The relationship between both of these three chemical concepts and the context of palm oil processing has been declared highly valid with a score of 3.75 by the validators. Therefore, the processing of palm fruit into CPO can be used as a learning resource for contextual chemistry learning material in the implementation of Merdeka curriculum at phase E.

Abstract

Understanding chemical reaction rates requires practical experiences that allow students to observe factors influencing reaction speed. However, limited laboratory equipment and materials in many schools hinder the implementation of meaningful experiments. This study aims to determine the learning media needs of Class XI students for the development of reaction rate experimental videos at SMA Negeri 7 Malinau. A total of 17 students (n = 17) and one science teacher participated in the study. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed through descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative approaches. The results show that 88.24% of students experience difficulties in learning reaction rate concepts, 76.47% perceive that videos help their understanding, and 100% agree that experimental videos are needed as learning resources. These findings highlight the urgent need for offline, visually engaging, and easy-to-understand experimental videos to support students’ conceptual understanding in contexts with limited laboratory facilities. The results of this needs analysis will directly inform the content design, structure, and visual features of the reaction rate experimental videos to be developed.

Abstract

Mangrove ecosystems play an important role in climate change mitigation through their ability to absorb and store carbon. Students' knowledge about this needs to be improved to support students' environmental awareness. This study aims to measure the level of environmental knowledge of grade XI students in the Mahakam Delta region about the role of mangroves in mitigating climate change. The research method used a quantitative descriptive method, with data collection through written tests. The results showed that the average environmental knowledge of students was 61.62 with a sufficient category. The results of the frequency distribution of students show 38% of students have environmental knowledge in the good category, 36% are in the sufficient category, 11% are in the less category, and 15% are in the very less category. Although most students have environmental knowledge in the good category, there are no students who reach the excellent category, and 71% are still below the good category. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' environmental knowledge, especially through integration into science/chemistry learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan perencanaan pembelajaran yang penting bagi guru adalah membuat modul ajar Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kompetensi guru kimia dalam penyusunan modul ajar Kurikulum Merdeka di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kimia yang berjumlah 10 orang, yang merupakan anggota Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) kimia kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Data hasil analisis dokumen dikumpulkan melalui instrumen penilaian modul ajar Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai kompetensi guru dalam menyusun modul ajar berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai 86. Diantara komponen modul ajar yang dinilai terdapat 4 komponen yang berada pada kategori cukup yaitu Profil Pelajar Pancasila, asesmen, pembelajaran remedial dan pembelajaran pengayaan. Dengan demikian, guru masih membutuhkan pelatihan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas modul ajar yang disusun.
