Abstract

Penentuan pegawai terbaik sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam hal objektivitas dan ketidakpastian data penilaian, terutama ketika melibatkan berbagai kriteria kinerja. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan metode Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) dan Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) sebagai pendekatan dalam Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai dan menentukan pegawai terbaik berdasarkan sembilan kriteria utama, yaitu kehadiran, kesetiaan, prestasi kerja, tanggung jawab, ketaatan, kejujuran, kerja sama, prakarsa, dan kepemimpinan. Setiap kriteria dikategorikan ke dalam tiga tingkat penilaian linguistik ("Sangat Baik," "Baik," dan "Kurang Baik") yang kemudian difuzzifikasi menjadi nilai numerik. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar data alternatif pegawai berada pada kategori Baik dan Sangat Baik, dengan distribusi nilai yang beragam di setiap kategori C1 hingga C9. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode WASPAS, Bangun Siringo-ringo dan Elprida Sinuraya teridentifikasi sebagai pegawai dengan performa terbaik, masing-masing memperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 1. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan FMADM dan WASPAS efektif dalam menghasilkan keputusan yang akurat dan objektif dalam pemilihan pegawai terbaik.

Abstract

The problem of depression levels among employees in a company can have a negative impact on overall performance. Therefore, the company needs additional information as a tool to detect employees' depression levels early and gain an understanding of their level of depression. Researchers applied fuzzy Sugeno to build a model for detecting employees' depression levels based on their psychological data. A dataset including variables such as weight and height, which generate Body Mass Index (BMI) values, and scores from the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), was used as input for the model. The data was then transformed into fuzzy set concepts, and fuzzy rules were built based on existing domain knowledge. The model was constructed using 60 employee respondents who had completed the questionnaire. The study utilized the Matlab application, which provides accurate results. The research findings indicate that the fuzzy Sugeno logic model is capable of detecting employees' depression levels, with results showing (63.3%) of employees experiencing mild depression, followed by (31.7%) experiencing moderate depression, and a small percentage of employees experiencing severe depression (5%).

Abstract

Stunting is still a serious problem for children in Indonesia. In one area, especially Batubara Regency at the Pematang Panjang Community Health Center, in this area treatment for this disease must continue. This research was carried out with the aim of making stunting diagnosis more easily using the WEB site. By applying the Forward Chaining method and Sugeno's Fuzzy Logic. Based on the research results, it appears that Forward Chaining is a livelihood method that begins with fact analysis, while Sugeno's Fuzzy Logic can determine its ability to provide disease diagnoses. Based on 122 data on stunted toddlers obtained, the final diagnostic results showed that there were 106 data on toddlers who were declared stunted and 16 toddlers who were declared normal. From the 122 data, data was obtained with details of toddlers being at risk of stunting at a high level of (57%), followed by a very high risk level for stunting (26%) and a low risk level for stunting (17%).

Abstract

PT. Telkom Akses (PTTA) has constraints in the employee leave application management system, this is because the employee leave application process is still done manually and difficulties in determining the level of importance for employees who apply for leave. Therefore, a web-based application was built using FMCDM and the SAW Method. This study aims to improve efficiency and effectiveness in managing the employee leave application system by utilizing the Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) approach using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method at PT. Telkom Akses (PTTA). In order to make it easier for employees to carry out the deduction process and obtain complete and detailed information and rules related to deductions, the personnel department is expected to be able to create an online information system. To help with this, one of the fields of technology that can be utilized is soft computing technology. There are various methods that can be used to solve problems, one of which is the Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) method and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The results of the study indicate that the web-based application that has been designed can help solve the problems faced by PT. Telkom Akses Medan STO Simpang Limun in terms of managing the employee leave application system and helping to determine the level of importance and ranking for employees who apply for leave accurately and efficiently, and the results of the application of FMCDM and the SAW Method in determining employee leave permits are that out of 7 employees who apply for leave, 2 employees get the highest rating results. The conclusion of this study is to help decision makers in determining employees who get leave permits based on relevant and transparent assessments of each employee who applies for leave.

Abstract

Identifikasi atau pengenalan wajah atau face recognition adalah sebuah bidang ilmu dalam pengenalan wajah yang terdapat dalam computer vision, dimana sebuah komputer dapat menganalisa suatu citra digital dan dapat menemukan identitas dari wajah tersebut. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan Implementasi Deep Learning untuk mengidentifikasi umur manusia menggunakan algoritma Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Penelitian ini hanya untuk mendeteksi umur manusia berdasarkan citra wajah yang dapat mengidentifikasi umur masudia di mulai dari umur 0 tahun hingga 90 tahun. Dimana input citra berformat JPEG yang berukuran lebar 48 pixel dan panjang 48 pixel. Bahasa Pemrograman yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Python dengan versi 3.9.6. Hasil penelitian ini adalah semua citra wajah dapat diproses untuk mendeteksi umurnya dengan nilai Pengujian identifikasi tingkat akurasi sebesar 0.8147 dan loss sebesar 0.3756.

Abstract

Identity and vehicle ownership checks are an important routine carried out by security personnel at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) to ensure the legality of vehicles entering and exiting. However, the still manual inspection process of matching vehicle registration certificates (STNK) and license plates is often time-consuming and causes vehicle queues, especially during peak hours. This research applies a combination of the Canny Edge Detection algorithm to detect license plate edges and Tesseract OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract text from images. The purpose of this research is to explore the effectiveness of this method in detecting and recognizing two-wheeled vehicle license plates within the UINSU environment, and to provide an alternative solution to the problems of the manual inspection system. The dataset used consists of 125 images of two-wheeled vehicles taken using a mobile phone camera. The research results show that before post-processing was applied, OCR produced an average character accuracy of 81.60% with a CER of 18.40%, while after post-processing, the accuracy increased to 82.49% and the CER decreased to 17.51%. These results confirm that rule-based correction is able to improve character reading errors, although the improvement is moderate and has not completely addressed cases of detection failure in some images. This finding serves as the basis for addressing queuing issues and human resource limitations, while also providing a foundation for the broader development of digital image-based vehicle identification systems across various sectors.

Abstract

Sejarah berdirinya agama Islam di provinsi Sumatera Utara memiliki kisah tersendiri dan telah di tuliskan di dalam naskah arab. Bentuk dari naskah arab bisa rusak karena disimpan begitu lama, dari kerusakan tersebut informasi di dalam naskah menjadi berkurang. Agar dapat mencegah berkurangnya informasi di dalam naskah perlu digitalisasi dengan melakukan proses segmentasi. Segmentasi merupakan metode yang mempunyai tujuan agar dapat memisahkan sebuah gambar menjadi beberapa daerah dan tiap-tiap daerahnya mempunyai atribut yang sama. Untuk dapat melaksanakan proses tersebut penulis mengimplementasikan metode Otsu, dari citra yang telah dimasukkan nilai ambang dapat ditentukan secara otomatis. Metode Otsu bekerja dengan teknik pencarian nilai penyebaran intensitas gambar yang dimasukkan, nilai bobotnya dicari berdasarkan kedua kelasnya, perhitungan rerata terhadap dua kelas, total dari nilai rerata, dan mecari nilai Beetwen Class Variance. Pengimplementasian terhadap sistem yang telah dibuat disimpulkan bahwa tulisan yang terdapat pada naskah arab dapat dilihat dengan jelas jika dibandingkan dengan citra naskah arab sebelum melakukan proses segmentasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze netizens' responses to hate speech in the comments column of Gibran Rakabuming's Instagram account, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024–2029 period. The study used a content analysis method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from netizens' comments on Gibran's uploads from March to April 2025. The results of the study showed various types of hate speech, such as those motivated by politics, physical, psychological, racism, and age. The dominant forms of speech include insults, provocation, and blasphemy. Netizens' responses were divided into two: supporting and rejecting. Supporting responses appeared in the form of justification or sarcasm, while rejecting responses showed awareness of digital ethics and an invitation to respect each other. This study highlights the polarization of opinion in the digital space as well as the importance of digital literacy, social media ethics, and content moderation regulations to create healthy public communication.

Abstract

Health is a vital aspect that must be continuously monitored, one of which is through blood pressure measurement. In general, blood pressure measurement is carried out using a manual sphygmomanometer that requires medical expertise, so the results are often not well documented. This study aims to design and implement a blood pressure monitoring system based on a microcontroller using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method. The system is developed by integrating a digital blood pressure sensor and a MAX30100 heart rate sensor connected to an Arduino Uno. The Mamdani fuzzy method is employed to classify the measurement results into three categories: hypotension, normal, and hypertension, based on systolic, diastolic, and heart rate (BPM) values. The system is also equipped with an LCD as a visual indicator to display the user’s health condition in real time, quickly, and informatively. Experimental results show that the system can operate properly, achieving an average error rate of 3.44% and an accuracy level of 96.28%. These findings indicate that the proposed monitoring system is sufficiently accurate, flexible in handling uncertain biological data, and has great potential to be developed as an initial screening tool for health conditions, particularly at home or in areas with limited access to medical facilities.

Abstract

Wage determination in palm-oil plantations often relies on subjective assessments, which may lead to inconsistencies, unfair practices, and disputes between workers and management. To address this issue, this study proposes the application of the Fuzzy Mamdani method as a decision support system for determining plantation workers’ wages. The main objective is to design and implement a fuzzy-based model that provides fair and transparent wage recommendations by integrating multiple worker performance criteria. The research was conducted at PT CSIL with a sample of 45 workers. Four key variables length of service, attendance, overtime, and work performance were formulated into linguistic variables with triangular membership functions. A fuzzy rule base, developed in collaboration with domain experts, was used to perform Mamdani inference with centroid defuzzification. Data were obtained from company records and validated using comparisons with the actual wage distribution determined by the payroll department. The results show that the system recommendations were consistent with the company’s wage decisions for 40 out of 45 workers, representing an agreement rate of 88.9%. This demonstrates that the Fuzzy Mamdani method can effectively reduce subjectivity and improve fairness in wage determination. In conclusion, the proposed system provides a reliable tool to support payroll decision-making in plantation settings. The implications suggest that broader adoption of fuzzy-based models can enhance transparency and worker satisfaction in agricultural wage systems.
