Abstract

Tea plantations are an important sector in Indonesia's agricultural industry that contributes significantly to the country's economy. The success of tea cultivation is highly dependent on the quality of the seedlings, making data collection and management of tea seedlings a crucial element. However, the manual data collection process still used at PTPN4 faces various challenges such as recording errors, data loss, and information delays, which will have an impact on operational efficiency and decision making. This study analyzes the application of a web-based information system for data collection of tea seedlings in PTPN4 plantations, with a focus on the provision or stocking of seedlings. The results show that a web-based system using the waterfall method can improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of data management, while facilitating integration between units in the organization. Abstrak. Perkebunan teh merupakan sektor penting dalam industri pertanian di indonesia yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap ekonomi dalam negara. Keberhasilan budidaya tanaman teh sangat bergantung pada kualitas bibit, sehingga pendataan dan pengelolaan bibit teh menjadi elemen krusial. Namun, proses pendataan manual yang masih digunakan di PTPN4 menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti kesalahan pencatatan, kehilangan data, dan keterlambatan informasi, yang nantinya akan berdampak pada efisiensi operasional dan pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan sistem informasi berbasis web untuk pendataan bibit teh di perkebunan PTPN4, dengan fokus pada penyediaan atau stok terhadap bibit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode waterfall dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, serta transparansi pengelolaan data, sekaligus memfasilitasi integrasi antar unit dalam organisasi.

Abstract

Stock investment is an attractive option for modern society to enhance long-term asset value, despite significant risks, especially for novice investors who often face limited understanding of fundamental stock analysis. Such analysis involves various complex financial indicators. This study combines the Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) method and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to assist investors in selecting the best stocks in the banking sector. FMADM is applied to address data uncertainty using a fuzzy approach, while SAW calculates the final score based on criteria weights and performance. The research data were obtained from company financial reports for the 2019–2023 period, focusing on seven key criteria: Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Earnings Per Share (EPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Price-to-Book Value (PBV), Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), and Dividend Yield (DY). The study aims to develop a decision support system to simplify the investment analysis process while reducing the risk of decision-making errors for investors. The findings indicate that alternative A35/Bank BTPN Syariah (BTPS) ranked first with a final score of 0.7120, followed by A42/Bank Mega (MEGA) in second place with a score of 0.7074, and A08/Bank Central Asia (BBCA) in third place with a score of 0.6988. This system provides a practical solution for more structured and efficient investment decisions.

Abstract

Investing is often considered one of the ways to generate profits by allocating funds to a place or company with the aim of gaining profits and avoiding inflation in the future. Among the many types of investments, investing in stocks is one of the popular ones. However, investing in the stock market is not easy because it is considered very risky due to the fluctuating prices of shares. The unstable movement of share prices is an important indicator for investors in determining whether they will sell, hold, or buy certain shares. Therefore, a method is needed to forecast the movement of share prices. This research aims to implement the fuzzy time series method for forecasting stock sales to support efficient decision-making. Using historical data on stock sales at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) from January 2, 2024, to October 4, 2024. The results of the study show that the application of the fuzzy time series method produces a forecast of stock price sales with a fairly high accuracy, with an accuracy of 98.7261%, and an MAPE error rate of only 1.2739% of the 180 data tested. This study shows that the forecasting model applied is able to provide an optimal picture of the relevant trends in the movement of stock sales, so it can be used to help make strategic decisions, thus it can be a reference for investors, especially in the stock field, to minimize risk in making decisions before investing.

Abstract

The influx of Rohingya migrants into Indonesia has sparked diverse reactions from the public, ranging from both positive and negative perspectives. These viewpoints have surfaced prominently on Twitter, where netizens express conflicting opinions that often lead to division and discord. This study seeks to examine the sentiment of public opinion regarding Rohingya immigrants on Twitter, employing a Support Vector Machine with RBF kernel implemented in Python as its analytical method. The sentiment resulting from the crawling process on Twitter was 1347 pieces of data. In the analysis, the comparison between training data and test data was 8: 2. The dataset after preprocessing consisted of 1321 data, 1056 of which were training data while 265 were test data. The results of sentiment analysis show that the SVM method can be used to analyze sentiment, the accuracy value obtained is 72%, precision is 100%, recall is 2%, and f1-Score is 3%.

Abstract

The Indonesian currency crisis caused a significant decline in food production, which ultimately resulted in increased costs and reduced purchasing power for all basic needs. Therefore, the government is trying to launch a poverty alleviation program in the form of a social assistance program for the poor in the form of rice to ease the burden on poor families and increase their access to food that is essential for life. In order to avoid problems of inconsistency in the recipients of this assistance, a decision support system was created to determine the eligibility of recipients of poor rice assistance so that it is right on target. In determining the recipients of this social assistance, evaluation criteria are needed. The evaluation criteria required are income, age, dependents, occupation and status. The researchers developed a system that combines the weighting method (Entropy) and the decision method (Fuzzy Weighted Product) to determine recipients of social assistance. Where the data is converted into fuzzy numbers first and then processed with the decision method with the final weight of the entropy weighting method. The combination method of Fuzzy Weighted Product (F-WP) and Entropy allows for optimal selection of recipients of social assistance for the poor, and an automatic selection system that can be used by administrators to streamline the process in each district. The selection results data will be available to all registered users, sorted from highest to lowest according to target ranking, to fairly determine who will receive social assistance.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Village Apparatus's communication strategy to increase community participation in the development of Batugana Village, Padang Bolak Julu District, North Padang Lawas Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Batugana village, Padang Bolak Julu District, North Padang Lawas Regency. The data collection techniques used in this research were primary and secondary data. This research uses theory. The theory used is campaign communication theory. In campaign communication theory, communication activities are carried out to impact a relatively large number of audiences, over a certain period, and through a series of organized communication activities. And the results of this research are the strategies used by village officials to increase community participation, namely by using a participatory approach and a holistic approach. This development planning approach is suitable for building irrigation canals that will irrigate community rice fields. The steps used in the communication strategy include getting to know the community closely, compiling material or discussion topics, and developing methods and objectives that village officials want to carry out in carrying out the communication strategy.

Abstract

The Indonesia Smart Card (Kartu Indonesia Pintar – KIP) is a government program aimed at providing educational assistance to students from underprivileged families. This program seeks to improve access to education and increase learning opportunities for children, enabling them to complete their education up to the secondary or vocational level. In the digital era, public opinion regarding government policies, including KIP, is often expressed through social media platforms such as X. Sentiment analysis is a technique in natural language processing (NLP) used to identify, extract, and classify opinions from text. One of the commonly used algorithms for sentiment analysis is Naïve Bayes, which operates based on Bayes' Theorem with the assumption of feature independence. This algorithm is effective in text classification due to its simplicity and ability to handle large datasets.By utilizing the Naïve Bayes algorithm, sentiment analysis of the KIP program can provide deep insights into public responses. The results of this analysis can assist the government in evaluating policies, understanding public perceptions, and optimizing program implementation to ensure it effectively reaches its intended beneficiaries.

Abstract

Kualitas tidur mempunyai peranan penting dalam menjaga kesehatan fisik dan mental, serta mempengaruhi kinerja seseorang sehari-hari. Tidur yang cukup dan berkualitas membantu tubuh dalam proses pemulihan, memperkuat sistem kekebalan tubuh, memperbaiki jaringan, dan memulihkan energi. Selain itu, kualitas tidur yang baik dapat menurunkan risiko penyakit kronis seperti diabetes, jantung, dan hipertensi dengan menjaga keseimbangan hormonal dan metabolisme. Salah satu metode yang efektif dalam mengatasi ketidakpastian dan variabilitas data adalah metode fuzzy Tsukamoto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis pengaruh gaya hidup terhadap kualitas tidur, (2) membangun model prediktif kualitas tidur menggunakan fuzzy Tsukamoto, dan (3) memberikan rekomendasi yang dipersonalisasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur berdasarkan profil gaya hidup individu. Model fuzzy Tsukamoto berhasil diterapkan dalam mengevaluasi kualitas tidur dengan variabel input durasi tidur, aktivitas fisik, detak jantung dan jumlah langkah harian. Dari 374 responden, sebanyak 3,2% (12 responden) memiliki kualitas tidur buruk, 86,9% (325 responden) memiliki kualitas tidur cukup, dan 9,9% (37 responden) memiliki kualitas tidur baik.

Abstract

Tugas perguruan tinggi sebagai wadah pengembangan kebutuhan masyarakat melalui tingkat program studi harus meningkatkan kompetensinya. Langkah yang diambil adalah dengan menciptakan dan mengembangkan teknologi informasi dalam kegiatan akademik. Salah satunya menyediakan sistem informasi layanan bimbingan akademik untuk mendukung keputusan dan memudahkan penyediaan data bagi program studi. Pada saat ini layanan bimbingan akademik terhadap mahasiswa persemester pada prodi yang ada di Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Sumatera Utara Medan, dilakukan secara manual yaitu menggunakan buku bimbingan akademik sebagai bukti kegiatan. Buku bimbingan memberikan informasi profil mahasiswa, ipk, total sks, masa penyelesaian akademik. Dimana variabel tersebut dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi kelulusan mahasiswa. Data yang digunakan total lulus pada program studi Sistem Informasi dan ilmu komputer sebanyak 301 data. Algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) untuk menghitung data latih dan uji, dimana perbandingan data yang akan digunakan 80%:20% yaitu 211 data latih dan 90 data uji, dan hasil prediksi lulusan mahasiswa dengan euclidian K= 3.

Abstract

Hydroponic culture can produce optimal plant growth, the yield and quality are better than soil media, the efficiency and quality of production depends on many factors such as controlling nutrition, plant genotype, freezing method, disease control, temperature control and controlling the amount of water in the tendons. Water that is circulated through the hydroponic network is supplied through a water pump. A lot of water supply cannot be stable, which can result in a decrease in plant quality, namely the control of hydroponic water pumps can be adjusted with the Tsukamoto fuzzy system. This study used the NFT hydroponic method, which is suitable for green vegetables such as mustard greens, lettuce, spinach, pakcoy, cucumber, tomatoes, and others. The application of this pump sensor monitoring tool uses a microcontroller based on the IoT platform. Also used Blynk software to display information from programming via Arduino software. Ultrasonic circuit, the sensor will measure the distance to the air surface, which will determine at what distance the water tap will open to fill air into the tendons. After running a number of experiments the content of water tendons can be controlled by fuzzy Tsukamoto. It is hoped that for further development it can use sensors other than Ultrasonic, and for further development it can use a large number of plants.
