Abstract

The existence o f fe e t as the part of the human body is very important to support the daily activities which is to support the body and to walk. The lost of the under knee part (amputation) is the dominant case of the total cases of amputation in Indonesia. So that we need a tool to restore the balance of the human body to be able to do our daily activity. The tool is called prostheses. The design and manufacture of prototypeshank prostheses under knee is intended for persons who have 162 cm height and 57 Kg of average weight. Prostheses are aimed to the persons who only lost one limb below the knee. In this design, the length of the shank can be set according to the length of leg amputated and is intended to persons who are still experiencing high growth (teenager). The material is stainless steel 316L. The shank has a length 200-300 mm, width 67 mm and 2 mm thick.

Abstract

Lignocellulosic filler such as gmelina wood flour is an alternative of synthetic reinforcements which is ecofriendly, abundant in nature and inexpensive. This research aims to investigate the effects of gmelina wood filler addition on tensile properties, impact strength and morphology of epoxy composites. Filler volume fractions evaluated were10, 20, 30 and 40 percent with 30 mesh filler size. Hand lay-up method was used to manufacture the composites. Tensile strength, tensile modulus, elongation and impact strength were determined based on ASTM standard. Results show that filler addition up to some extents improves the mechanical properties of materials. The optimum tensile properties and impact strength are achieved when 10 percent filler is added into epoxy matrix. Further addition of filler degrades the tensile and impact properties of composites. This phenomenon is due to the existence of weak interfacial interaction between the gmelina wood filler and epoxy matrix for higher filler volume concentration beyond 10 vol. %. The scanning electron micrograph of tensile fracture surface reveals that there are voids, agglomeration and pull-out mechanism which are the cause of the composites failure.

Abstract

Hipertensi  merupakan  penyakit  degeneratif  yang  menjadi  masalah utama  di  masyarakat  terutama  lansia. Hipertensi berhubungan erat dengan berbagai resiko komplikasi. Mentimun adalah jenis sayur yang biasa dikonsumsi masyarakat untuk menurunkan tekanan darah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus mentimun terhadap tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain One group pre-test and post-test. Sempel yang digunakan   sebanyak 40 lansia dengan hipertensi tanpa penyakit penyerta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama seminggu dengan sehari dua kali pemberian jus mentimun yaitu pagi dan sore, berat mentimun yang digunakan 200 gram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh pemberian jus mentimun terhadap tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi, penurunan terbesar terjadi pada 2 jam setelah perlakuan hari 3 setelah perlakuan pemberian jus mentimun. Ada pengaruh yang signifikan jus mentimun terhadap tekanan darah sistolikdan diastolik pada lansia dengan hipertensi di Dusun Genggongan Desa Mangunjiwan Kabupaten Demak  dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05).

Abstract

The bleed air leak detection system on aircraft is used to detect a leak in the bleed air duct. This system can detect over heat temperature outside of the duct if there is a leak around the duct. Bleed air leak detection is equipped with a sensing element to detect the rise of temperature because of the leak around the bleed air duct. These sensing elements are installed on the engine pylon, wing and fuselage. The rise of temperature detected by the sensing element can be monitored on the bleed monitoring computer (BMC) and then will be forwarded to the engine bleed switch in the cockpit. Troubleshooting Manual (TSM) Task 36-22-00-810-911-A is used to solve bleed air leak detection system problems. The fault tree analysis method is also used to obtain the possible causes of failure in the bleed air leak detection system. In this study found damage to the sensing element in zone 71 HF. The sensing element has been used for 24 years and 8 months from that set by the manufacturer, which is 25 years, so it is necessary to replace it with a new sensing element. Based on the fault tree analysis results, several possible causes of the bleed air leak detection system failure were obtained, such as electorstatic, short circuit, lost continuity, connector fault, control logic fault, thermistor disconnected, performance degradation, component dislocation, and corrosion.

Abstract

Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS) pada pesawat Boeing 737-800 NG memiliki fungsi utama untuk menghindari dan memberi peringatan dari suatu potensi tabrakan antar pesawat di udara. Dengan menganalisis berbagai input dari sinyal balasan pesawat lain dan kemudian memberikan peringatan visual dan/atau aural kepada crew berdasarkan perintah TA maupun TA/RA yang dipilih. Dengan demikian crew bisa mengambil suatu tindakan sehingga potensi kecelakaan bisa dihindari. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah dengan melakukan observasi langsung dan melakukan penanganan kegagalan kerusakan pesawat Boeing 737-800 NG Garuda Indonesia di Hanggar 2 PT. GMF AeroAsia. Selain itu dilakukan analisis kegagalan pesawat dengan menggunakan metode fault tree analysis. Hasil  troubleshooting dan  fault  tree analysis  ditemukan kegagalan pada TCAS antenna, coaxial cable dan REU yang berpengaruh pada navigasi pesawat. Proses troubleshooting TCAS mengacu pada FIM Boeing 737-800 NG chapter 34-45 task 803 dan 804 dan juga FIM B737-800 NG chapter 23-51 task 803.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kekuatan struktur fuselage UAV dengan Software Solidwork dan membuat fuselage UAV dengan material komposit woven fiberglass seri wf 100 dengan metode vacuum bagging. Pengujian tarik juga dilakukan sebagai pembanding dengan simulasi solidwork. Fuselage UAV ini menggunakan fiberglass 2 layer dengan ketebalan 0,5 mm, 3 layer dengan ketebalan 0,75 mm, serta menggunakan sambungan fiber tali yang disatukan dengan diameter 5 mm. Komposisi komposit menggunakan 80% matriks dan 20% serat dan perbandingan matriks 3 : 1. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tegangan uji tarik terbesar pada komposit 3 layer yaitu 199 N/mm2 dan Tegangan uji tarik terbesar pada sambungan terdapat pada 3 layer yaitu 37,49 N/mm2. Struktur fuselage dinyatakan aman karena hasil simulasi (tegangan simulasi) < hasil dari pengujian tarik (tegangan uji tarik). Sedangkan dalam pembuatan fuselage diperlukan komposit dengan volume 414,4 cm3 dan berat 583,44 gram.

Abstract

Al Qur’an adalah kalam Ilahi yang berisi tentang panduan hidup manusia selama berada di permukaan bumi. Dengan mempelajari dan mengamalkan isi yang terkandung dalam kitab suci Al Quran, Insyallah keberkahan hidup akan diberikan oleh Allah kepada kita. Oleh karena itu, hendaknya setiap umat muslim membaca kitab suci Al Quran setiap hari, agar hati tentram dan mudah menyelesaikan segala permasalahan. Selain membaca kitab suci Al Quran, Model pembelajaran adalah suatu perencanaan atau suatu pola yang di gunakan sebagai pedoman dalam merencanakan pembelajaran dikelas atau pembelajaran dalam tutorial dan untuk menentukan perangkatperangkat pembelajaran termasuk di dalamnya buku-buku, film, computer, kurikulum dan lain-lain. Selanjutnya Joyce menyatakan bahwa setiap model pembelajaran mengarahkan kita ke dalam mendesain pembelajaran untuk membantu peserta didik sedemikian rupa sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tercapai. Model pembelajaran talking stick merupakan model pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan bantuan tongkat, siswa yang memegang tongkat wajib menjawab pertanyaan dari guru setelah siswa mempelajari materi pokoknya. Model pembelajaran ini untuk melatih berbicara, menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan dan membuat siswa aktif. Pembelajaran dengan model talking stick memberi kesempatan siswa untuk bekerja sendiri serta mengoptimalkan partisipasi siswa. Dengan model pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa maju untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang sudah disediakan oleh guru.

Abstract

This study describes the phenomenon of educated unemployment in the 4.0 era. The background of this research is that the number of current unemployed so becomes a phenomena, whereas today has entered the era of 4.0. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used in this research are observations, interviews, and documentation. The informants involved are the unemployed who are graduates of high school (SMA) and university graduates. The results of this study showed that educated unemployment occurred a lot in the district of Tangerang especially in the Sepatan district so it became a phenomenon. This is due to the inadequate qualifications required, the lack of quality education in preparing human resources to compete in the world of work, the minimal training of specialized skills to support the job, the administrative requirements of the job application are too complex, and the mastery of technology is still minimal. In this study, using the theory of education and division of labour that education is one of the factors of the phenomenon of educated unemployment to the occurrence of division of work in the era 4.0.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the influence of habits, hedonic motivation, social influence, and digital financial literacy on the decision to use QRIS by students at three private universities in Bandar Lampung City. The method used in this research is a survey with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 students using QRIS. The data collected was analyzed using the multiple linear regression method to test the influence of each variable on the decision to use QRIS. The research results show that hedonic motivation and digital financial literacy have a significant positive influence on the decision to use QRIS, while habitual and social influences show a positive but not significant influence. Simultaneously, all independent variables have a significant influence on the decision to use QRIS. These findings provide insight that understanding digital financial literacy and hedonic motivation play an important role in driving decisions to use QRIS among students. We hope that this research can become a reference for developing policies and strategies to expand the application of QRIS among students.

Abstract

Background: Impacted teeth, hindered from erupting normally due to space constraints, obstruction by neighboring teeth, or an abnormal eruption pathway, often necessitate surgical intervention known as odontectomy. Silk sutures are commonly used in this procedure, yet they may serve as sites for bacterial colonization, potentially leading to infection. Following odontectomy, antibiotics are typically prescribed. Purpose: This study aims to identify the bacterial profile adhering to silk sutures and analyze antibiotic sensitivity patterns in patients undergoing odontectomy. Methods: A descriptive study employing consecutive sampling of patients after odontectomy was conducted between May and November 2021 at Arifin Achmad General Hospital, Riau Province, Indonesia. Sutures were removed within 14 days of surgery, after which the silk was identified and subjected to antibiotic sensitivity testing using the Kirby–Bauer method. Results: Of the bacteria detected in the silk sutures, 53.7% were Gram positive, including Streptococcus sp. (33.3%) and Staphylococcus aureus (13%), and 46.3% were Gram negative, such as Enterobacter sp. (20.4%) and Klebsiella sp. (16.7%). Among the multi-resistant strains, methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) accounted for 57.1%. The Gram-positive bacteria exhibited the highest sensitivity to levofloxacin, whereas the Gram-negative bacteria showed sensitivity to ceftazidime, levofloxacin, and meropenem. Conclusion: The most dominant Gram-positive bacteria were Streptococcus sp. and S. aureus, whereas the most dominant Gram-negative bacteria were Enterobacter sp. and Klebsiella sp. Levofloxacin, ceftazidime, and meropenem emerged as the most effective antibiotics following odontectomy. Multidrug-resistant bacteria, exemplified by MRSA, were identified within the oral cavity.
