Abstract. Humans as social beings, certainly put through the process of communication in everyday life. The communication process can be done by using the existing role of the media. The development of technology, the development of the media has become increasingly sophisticated. One of them is the existence of social media. Currently, the communication process becomes easier, so we also know mediated communication, which in this study is through social media. In using social media, of course, can not arbitrarily, but there is a communication ethics that need to be considered. Ethics of communication in social media is what will be studied by researchers. In this digital era, social media development had already entered into the lives of women in rural areas, one of which is the PKK in the village Mekarmukti, Kab. West Bandung. As for the focus of this study are: (1) determine the ethics of communication in social media for the PKK in the village Mekarmukti, Kab.Bandung West; (2) determine the type of social media used by the PKK in the village Mekarmukti, Kab.Bandung West. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Researchers used data collection techniques include: observation, interview and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the ethics of communication in social media for the PKK include communication ethics in the context of time, the contents of the message, and the communicant; (2) the type of social media used is facebook, BBM, and WhatApp.

Artikel ini membahas tentang pemanfaatan media komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh tenaga medis dan tim kader dalam penyebaran informasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat di desa Cimanggu, kab.Bandung Barat. Media memegang peranan penting dalam menunjang kelancaran proses komunikasi yang dialami oleh setiap individu. Media komunikasi pun berangsur mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang modern. Dalam hal ini, penulis ingin mengetahui media komunikasi yang digunakan dalam penyebaran informasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat di desa Cimanggu, kab.Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media komunikasi yang digunakan dalam penyebaran informasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat terdiri dari media cetak berupa pamflet, banner, spanduk, dan poster; serta media digital berupa aplikasi media sosial, yaitu whatsapp. Pemanfaatan media komunikasi tersebut juga didukung melalui proses penyuluhan yang dilakukan oleh tenaga medis bekerjasama dengan tim kader yang berada di desa Cimanggu, kab.Bandung Barat

Abstract: This article is the result of further research on the study of the resilience of urban families in the digital era, which focuses on the accessibility of social media in the interaction between members of the urban family. Urban family is an interesting study to be discussed because of the current concept that demands the development of the digital era. Urban families, as family members living in urban areas, have a large level of social media accessibility, so interaction between family members is also possible through social media. This is interesting to discuss because the author wants to reveal the accessibility of social media in the interaction between members of the urban family. In this study, the author uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques, in the form of interviews; observation; and documentation study. Accessibility of social media in the interaction between members of the urban family produces varied findings, including the existence of family conflicts caused by the accessibility of social media; enabling the dissemination of information on social media as a result of the interaction of members of the urban family; the emergence of social media group networks as a forum for interaction between members of the urban family. Based on these findings, the authors see the existence of positive and negative points that can be generated as a result of the accessibility of social media used by members of urban families. Abstrak: Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian lanjutan tentang kajian ketahanan keluarga urban di era digital, yang memfokuskan pada aksesibilitas media sosial dalam interaksi antar anggota keluarga urban tersebut. Keluarga urban menjadi kajian menarik untuk dibahas karena konsep kekinian yang menuntut perkembangan era digital. Keluarga urban, sebagai anggota keluarga yang tinggal di perkotaan, memiliki tingkat aksesibilitas media sosial yang besar, sehingga interaksi antar anggota keluarga pun sangat memungkinkan dilakukan melaui media sosial tersebut. Hal ini menarik untuk dibahas karena penulis ingin mengungkapkan aksesibilitas media sosial dalam interaksi antar anggota keluarga urban. Dalam kajian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data, berupa wawancara; observasi; dan studi dokumentasi. Aksesibilitas media sosial dalam interaksi antar anggota keluarga urban ini menghasilkan temuan yang bervariatif, di antaranya adalah adanya konflik keluarga yang disebabkan oleh aksesibilitas media sosial tersebut; memungkinkan terjadinya penyebaran informasi hoaks dalam media sosial sebagai hasil dari interaksi anggota keluarga urban; munculnya jaringan group media sosial sebagai wadah interaksi antar anggota keluarga urban tersebut. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penulis melihat adanya point positif dan negatif yang dapat ditimbulkan sebagai hasil dari aksesibilitas media sosial yang digunakan oleh anggota keluarga urban. Kata Kunci: Aksesibilitas, Media Sosial, Interaksi, Keluarga Urban.

The ability of the community to access information needs is still uneven among urban people and rural communities. The ability to access information is an open door that must be open to be able to process and understand information, especially in this case is health information. Sanitation is one component of environmental health, a deliberate behavior to civilize a clean life to prevent humans directly touched with dirt and other hazardous waste materials, in the hope of maintaining and improving human health. Therefore, the authors perform Community Service activities entitled "Health Information Literacy Program Counseling in Improving the Quality of Sanitation for the Community at the foot of Mount Burangrang Kab. Bandung Barat."Community Service Activities has a purpose to produce outcomes, namely: 1) Provide concrete knowledge and insight about health information literacy in improving the quality of sanitation for people in West Bandung regency; 2) Providing comprehensive knowledge and insight about health information literacy in improving the quality of sanitation for people in West Bandung Regency.Method of PKM implementation conducted in this extension activity is ice breaking method; Workshop methods, lectures, and action studies. This article is the result of Community Service Activities (PKM) which has been done by the author on members of Karang Taruna Padu Selaras in Cirapuhan village, Kec. Ciburial, Bandung. PKM activities conducted are about Communication Competency Training for Coral Reef Members Padu Selaras in Cirapuhan village, Kec.Ciburial, Bandung. Community Service Activities has the objective of producing outcomes, namely: 1) Providing concrete knowledge and insight on communication competency training; 2) Provide basic skills on communication competence for members of Karang Taruna Padu Selaras. The method of PKM implementation conducted in this training activity is ice breaking method; lecture method; Group discussion methods; And feedback collection methods. The conclusions of this communication competency training are: (1) As a benchmark for members of Karang Taruna Padu Selaras in understanding the communication competence (2) Increasing their awareness of the importance of having good and right communication competence; (3) Improving the basic capability of members of the Parang Taruna Padu Synchronized in communicating.

Non-verbal communication is the delivery of messages without words and gives meaning to verbal communication, where non-verbal communication is older than verbal communication because since we were born we have done it until the age of about 18 months, such as touch, smile, crying eyes, and so on. Without us knowing we have practiced it, it is no wonder, if we doubt someone, we are more confident in the nonverbal message (probably from his movements). This shows how important we are to learn the knowledge of non-verbal communication. This is what underlies the author performs Community Service (PKM) with the title "Communication Non-Verbal Communication Competence for People in the village of Mekarmukti, West Bandung". This extension activity was conducted to the community in the village of Mekarmukti, district. West Bandung. Community Service Activities has the purpose to produce the following outcomes: 1) Providing concrete knowledge and insight about non-verbal communication and its current development to the community in Mekarmukti Village, West Bandung Regency; 2) Providing comprehensive knowledge and insight on non-verbal communication concepts, as well as good communication tips. CULTIVATION OF CADRE ROLE IN IMPROVING COMMUNITY HEALTH LITERATION IN CIMANGGU VILLAGE OF BANDUNG BARAT DISTRICT. Community Service Activities has the objective to produce outcomes, namely: 1) Providing concrete knowledge and insight on the counseling of the role of cadres in improving public health literacy in the village Cimanggu, Bandung Barat District; 2) Provide an understanding of the importance of the role of cadres in improving the public health literacy in Cimanggu village, District of Bandung Barat. The method of PKM implementation conducted in this training activity is method of lecture method; Group discussion methods; and video playback methods. The conclusions of this PKM activity are: (1) As a benchmark for Kader members in Cimanggu village to be able to increase public health literacy for better village development; (2) Awakening PKM participants on the importance of the role of Cadres in improving public health literacy; (3) Increasing awareness of PKM participants on the importance of increasing public health literacy in order to support the successful development of Cimanggu village.

TRAINING OF ORGANIZATIONAL CONFLICT MANAGEMENT DUE TO SOCIAL MEDIA FOR YOUTH CADETS IN CIBURIAL VILLAGE, BANDUNG. This article is the result of Community Service Activity (PKM) which has been done by the writer team on Karang Taruna members in Ciburial village, Bandung, under the title of Managing Organizational Conflict Managing Social Media Training for Karang Taruna of “Padu Selaras” in Ciburial Village. Community Service Activities has the objective of producing outcomes: 1) Providing concrete knowledge on how to manage organizational conflicts caused by social media; 2) Provide an understanding of the importance of members of youth have knowledge of the management of organizational conflict caused by social media. The method of PKM implementation done in this activity is method of lecture method; group discussion methods; and video playback methods. The conclusions of this PKM activity are: 1) To awaken members of youths about the importance of having knowledge in managing organizational conflicts caused by social media; 2) Increasing the knowledge of youth members about conflict management caused by social media; 3) Practicing how to manage organizational conflict due to social media in simulation of members of youth cadets in Ciburial village.

ABSTRACTAs social beings, humans learn to communicate in the smallest layer of society, the family. Without us knowing, in family relationships, humans experience various kinds of interactions that often also trigger the occurrence of conflict. This is what is interesting to study. Everyone in a family certainly has a conflict management style different from each other, especially for urban families. Moreover, the current digital era requires humans to use a variety of sophisticated digital media that continues to grow. Therefore, the researcher were interested to raise this research with the focus of study that is "Conflict Management Style in Urban Family Communication in Digital era".The focus of this research are: (1) to know the conflict management style that happened in urban family communication in digital era; (2) to know the type of media used in the communication process for urban families in the digital era.This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Researchers using data collection techniques include: observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that: (1) conflict management styles used in urban family communication include avoiding, competing, and compromising; (2) the type of media used in the communication process for urban families in this digital age is social media including BBM group, Whatsapp group, LINE, facebook, and instagram.Keywords: Style, Management, Conflict, Communication, Family, Digital era ABSTRAKSebagai makhluk sosial, manusia belajar berkomunikasi dalam lapisan terkecil masyarakat, yaitu keluarga. Tanpa kita sadari, dalam hubungan keluarga, manusia mengalami berbagai macam interaksi yang tak jarang pula memicu terjadinya konflik. Hal inilah yang menarik untuk diteliti. Setiap orang dalam sebuah keluarga tentu memiliki gaya pengelolaan konflik yang berbeda satu sama lain, khususnya bagi keluarga urban. Apalagi era digital saat ini menuntut manusia untuk menggunakan beragam kecanggihan media digital yang terus berkembang. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk mengangkat penelitian ini dengan fokus kajian yakni “Gaya Pengelolaan Konflik dalam Komunikasi Keluarga Urban di era Digital”.Adapun yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui gaya pengelolaan konflik yang terjadi dalam komunikasi keluarga urban di era digital; (2) mengetahui jenis media yang digunakan dalam proses komunikasi bagi keluarga urban di era digital.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi: observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) gaya pengelolaan konflik yang digunakan dalam komunikasi keluarga urban meliputi menghindari, bersaing, dan berkompromi; (2) jenis media yang digunakan dalam proses komunikasi bagi keluarga urban di era digital ini adalah media sosial meliputi BBM group, Whatsapp group, LINE, facebook, dan instagram.Kata Kunci:Gaya, Pengelolaan, Konflik, Komunikasi, Keluarga, era Digital

ABSTRACT In this modern era, every individual is accustomed to make the communication process with the intermediary technological sophistication. This also affects his habit of communicating with the family so that the process of face-to-face communication was not a major requirement. Not infrequently also the occurrence of family conflicts that interfere with family resilience was due to the difficulty of communicating. In this study, researchers found that positive communication is an effort in maintaining family resilience, especially for urban families. The focus of this research are: (1) to know the causes that interfere with the resilience of urban families; (2) to know the efforts made in maintaining the resilience of the urban family. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Researchers use data collection techniques include: observation, interviews; and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the causal factors that disrupt the resilience of urban families is the difficulty of communicating directly and accustomed to using the media; (2) positive communication as an effort in maintaining the resilience of urban families in the digital era today.Keywords: Communication, Positive, Effort, Resilience, Urban Family ABSTRAK Pada era modern ini, setiap individu terbiasa melakukan proses komunikasi dengan perantara kecanggihan teknologi. Hal inipun mempengaruhi kebiasaannya berkomunikasi dengan keluarga sehingga proses komunikasi tatap muka pun tidak menjadi kebutuhan utama. Tak jarang pula terjadinya konflik keluarga yang mengganggu ketahanan keluarga pun disebabkan karena sulitnya berkomunikasi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan bahwa komunikasi positif merupakan upaya dalam menjaga ketahanan keluarga, khususnya bagi kalangan keluarga urban. Adapun yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui penyebab yang mengganggu ketahanan keluarga urban; (2) mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan dalam menjaga ketahanan keluarga urban tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi: observasi, wawancara; dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) faktor penyebab yang menganggu ketahanan keluarga urban adalah sulitnya berkomunikasi secara langsung dan terbiasa menggunakan media; (2) komunikasi positif sebagai upaya dalam menjaga ketahanan keluarga urban di era digital saat ini.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi, Positif, Upaya, Ketahanan, Keluarga Urban.
