Abstract

AbstrakUpaya kesehatan berbasis sumber daya manusia merupakan bentuk peran aktif masyarakat dalam mendukung pembangunan kesehatan, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA). TOGA memiliki peran penting sebagai alternatif pengobatan mandiri, khususnya bagi keluarga yang tidak memiliki akses terhadap pelayanan kesehatan formal. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Semenpinggir, Kecamatan Kapas, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, tentang manfaat dan pemanfaatan TOGA, sekaligus mendorong kemandirian dalam menjaga kesehatan. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan 21 peserta masyarakat setempat dengan pendekatan penyuluhan, demonstrasi penanaman, dan pendampingan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan kuesioner pre–post untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat perubahan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang manfaat TOGA, serta tumbuhnya minat dan keterampilan dalam membudidayakan tanaman tersebut di pekarangan rumah. Kesimpulannya, penanaman TOGA efektif sebagai langkah pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kesehatan dan kemandirian keluarga, terutama di wilayah dengan keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan. AbstractHuman resource-based health efforts are a form of active community participation in supporting health development, one of which is thru the use of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). TOGA plays an important role as an alternative for self-treatment, especially for families who do not have access to formal healthcare services. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to increase the knowledge of the people of Semenpinggir Village, Kapas District, Bojonegoro Regency, about the benefits and utilization of medicinal plants (TOGA), while also promoting independence in maintaining health. The implementation method involved 21 local community participants using an extension approach, planting demonstrations, and mentoring. The instruments used were observation sheets and pre-post questionnaires to measure knowledge improvement. Data were analyzed descriptively to see changes before and after the activity. The results of the activity show an increase in community knowledge about the benefits of medicinal plants, as well as a growing interest and skill in cultivating these plants in home gardens. In conclusion, the cultivation of medicinal plants is effective as a step toward empowering communities to improve family health and independence, especially in areas with limited access to healthcare services.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has opened up new opportunities in education, including for students with special needs who often face obstacles in acquiring career skills, resulting in low career literacy and impacting their career readiness. This study aims to develop a digital career literacy-based gamification application as an innovative learning medium to improve the career readiness of students with special needs, with a scope covering design, development, and testing in accordance with their cognitive characteristics and learning needs. The study used a simplified Borg & Gall R&D model consisting of five stages, involving 30 students with special needs from inclusive schools in East Java, with instruments in the form of expert validation questionnaires, career readiness tests, and observations of student engagement. The results showed that the expert validation of the media obtained an average score of 88.5% (highly valid), the expert validation of the material was 91.2% (highly feasible), student engagement was 85%, and there was a significant increase in career readiness with an average pretest score of 62.4 to a posttest score of 82.7, or an increase of 32.5%. The digital career literacy gamification application has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving the career readiness of students with special needs. Future research is recommended to involve a more diverse subject group and integrate adaptive technology for more optimal results.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a training guide of empathy attitude skills as prevention of bullying behavior on junior high school students. The method was a research and development model. The subjects of the research were guidance and counseling experts; educational technology expert; and school counselors. The instrument was the empathy attitude skill scale for students; expert assessment instruments and counselor assessment instruments. Data from the assessment results of guidance and counseling expert; educational technology expert; and three school counselors in three different schools in Malang City showed that the developed products were acceptable and feasible to be used to improve empathy skills as prevention of bullying behavior of junior high school students.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made learning held online and requires students to be more active. This expectation turns out to make students' academic stress increase. This phenomenon also occurs in UNUGIRI students which are characterized by students getting bored more quickly and their lack of time for interpersonal relationships. One of the things that are planned to be able to reduce this is by using self-management techniques. Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of self-management techniques in reducing academic stress. To achieve this goal, this study uses the pretest and posttest control group design methods. Of the 66 students who were used as research subjects, 12 students were selected who were indicated to experience academic stress and were then designated as the sample of this study. The results of the study, which were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney technique, showed that the Asymp.Sig score. (2-tailed) was at 0.004 (0.004<0.05). These results indicate that self-management techniques are effective in reducing student academic stress.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance with cinematherapy techniques to increase students' empathy. The research method used is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Malo for the 2020/2021 academic year. Data were collected through empathy instruments. The data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon test to compare the pre-test and post-test scores. The results of this study indicate that the empathy of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Malo before being treated with the cinematherapy technique was in the low category with a percentage of 60.36% and after being given treatment with the cinematherapy technique it increased to a high category with an average percentage of 91.08%. The comparison between the results of the percentage of students before and after being given treatment an average of 30.72%. So, it can be concluded that there is a difference between pre-test and post-test, meaning that the group guidance of cinematherapy techniques is effective in increasing empathy for students.

Abstract

In 2020 the whole world experienced an outbreak, namely the Covid-19 pandemic which had an impact on various fields, one of which was in education. One of the effects is that students experience a lot of academic anxiety. Academic anxiety is widely felt by students who are affected by online schools and require them to stay at home and limit their space for movement, one of which is not being able to meet face to face with friends or teachers. One of the things that are planned to be able to reduce academic anxiety is by using stress coping techniques. Coping stress is an action or effort taken to overcome stress, which can be done both consciously and unconsciously. This study aims to produce a guidebook for providing stress coping techniques to reduce students' academic anxiety. The method used in this study is a research and development model. The subject of this research trial involved guidance and counseling experts;Education technologist;and school counselor. The instrument used is the student's academic anxiety scale,expert assessment instrument and counselor assessment instrument. Data from the assessment results of a BK expert, a TEP expert, and three school counselors in three different schools in Bojonegoro City indicate that the product developed is acceptable and feasible to use to reduce students' academic anxiety.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of self-efficacy and social support on the achievement motivation of Rugby athletes. The research sample consisted of 50 Rugby athletes from the UNUGIRI Student Activity Unit. The author created the measurement instrument by referring to the components of achievement motivation by McClelland, measuring self-efficacy using the Physical Self-Efficacy Scale (PSE) by Rycman, and referring to the aspects of social support described by Sarafino. The results of the study showed that there is a significant influence of self-efficacy, social support, and demographic variables (gender and age) on the achievement motivation of UNUGIRI Rugby athletes. For further research, researchers can design studies using other research methods or using other relevant variables. For athlete managers, this study can be used as a reference to improve the achievement motivation of athletes by optimizing self-efficacy and social support.

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GROUP COUNSELING TRAINING GUIDE WITH SELF REGULATED LEARNING TECHNIQUES TO INCREASE THE RESILIENCE OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTSAcademic problems among students are not only related to cognitive abilities, but are also closely related to psychological aspects, particularly resilience. Students with low levels of resilience tend to exhibit academic symptoms such as easily giving up when faced with tasks, lacking confidence in expressing opinions, and struggling to control emotions. Resilience is an individual's ability to bounce back from adversity, adapt positively, and cope with life's challenges and pressures in a healthy and productive manner. The low level of resilience shown by junior high school students is a problem that needs to be addressed immediately. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of group counseling training guidelines using self-regulated learning techniques to improve the resilience of students at SMPN 3 Bojonegoro. The method used was a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type. The analysis results indicate a significant improvement in students with low resilience, with 7 respondents showing an increase in average scores from 57% to 73% between the pretest and posttest. This suggests that group counseling training using self-regulated learning techniques is effective in enhancing students' resilience. This training program is expected to serve as a relevant and practical alternative service to help students optimize their resilience.
