Abstract

The young generation has a strategic role in driving social, political, and economic change in a nation. This study aims to analyze the role of Garda Pemuda NasDem as a forum for empowering the young generation of Indonesia in facing the challenges of the times and becoming agents of transformative change. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that Garda Pemuda NasDem plays an active role in fostering leadership, political education, and social participation of young people through open, inclusive, and tiered cadre programs. This organization also establishes synergy with government regulations such as Permenpora and Permensos and responds to the challenge of the lack of political participation of young people with a collaborative and educational approach. Although there are still challenges to participation and effectiveness, Garda Pemuda NasDem has succeeded in creating a strategic space for the young generation to become agents of change in national development.

Abstract

This report presents the findings of an observation on the role of youth organizations as a platform for nurturing and developing the potential of the younger generation. The observation was conducted on several youth organizations in the local area that are actively involved in social, educational, and entrepreneurial activities. The results indicate that youth organizations contribute significantly to fostering leadership spirit, shaping positive character, and increasing youth participation in community development. However, challenges such as limited facility support and weak internal coordination remain obstacles. This report is expected to provide a realistic overview of the importance of strengthening youth organizations in the effort to develop a competitive and integrity-driven young generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara hukum dan etika dari sudut pandang sosiologi hukum serta fungsinya dalam mengatur dan mengubah perilaku masyarakat. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosio-legal melalui tinjauan pustaka. Temuan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hukum tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai regulasi formal, tetapi juga sebagai fenomena sosial yang dipengaruhi oleh nilai-nilai, budaya, dan moral dari masyarakat. Hukum berperan sebagai alat kontrol sosial, media pendidikan, dan sarana rekayasa sosial dalam mendorong perubahan sosial menuju arah yang lebih positif. Akan tetapi, efektivitas suatu hukum sangat ditentukan oleh kesadaran hukum masyarakat, kesesuaian dengan nilai-nilai sosial, dan konsistensi dalam penegakan hukum. Ketidakselarasan antara hukum dan etika bisa menyebabkan munculnya ketidakpercayaan masyarakat terhadap hukum yang ada. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan keseimbangan antara hukum dan etika untuk mencapai keadilan dan keteraturan sosial yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The rapid use of social media among elementary school students has increased the risk of digital ethical issues, such as cyberbullying, misinformation, and inappropriate online communication. This community service article aims to develop and implement a social media ethics training model based on Pancasila values, integrated with digital citizenship and critical media literacy within the elementary school environment. The program was designed using a participatory approach through a series of activities, including interactive counseling, workshops, case-based discussions, simulations of ethical digital behavior, and teacher mentoring supported by systematic practical guide modules. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated using a mixed-method approach, combining pretest and posttest assessments to measure participants’ understanding, along with observations of behavioral changes and participant reflections throughout the activities. The qualitative findings indicate an improvement in students’ awareness of polite online communication, increased caution in filtering and sharing information, and the development of tolerance in responding to differing opinions. The integration of Pancasila values serves as a contextual ethical foundation that strengthens the internalization of responsible digital behavior, thereby contributing to the development of adaptive and integrity-driven student character in the digital era.
