Abstract

Sistem pengenalan wajah manusia merupakan salah satu bidang yang cukup berkembang dewasa ini, dimana sistem ini mampu diterapkan pada sistem keamanan ataupun sistem absensi. Pada penelitian ini membahas kinerja sistem pengenalan wajah berbasis video menggunakan Luxand FaceSDK berdasarkan jarak dan pose wajah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu mengenali wajah 20 partisipan dengan baik pada jarak 0,5 meter dan 1 meter sebesar 100% menggunakan webcam ekternal dengan resolusi 640x480 VGA dalam keadaan wajah normal berdurasi 15 detik. Sedangkan pengujian berdasarkan pose wajah sistem mampu memberikan rata-rata nilai akurasi sebesar 50% dari sepuluh pose yang diujikan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi kian cepat dengan berbagai perubahan yang datang terus menerus menuntut untuk terus dilakukan berbagai kajian. Dengan dimulainya wacana 4G LTE yang digagas oleh 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) maka kajian yang lebih mendalam perlu dilakukan. Teknologi yang baru memiliki jumlah pengguna yang sulit untuk diprediksi yang jika tidak disiapkan maka akan berpengaruh pada sisi kapasitas. Untuk itu diperlukan prediksi pengguna LTE yang memadai. Penelitian menggunakan data jumlah penduduk dari Badan Pusat Statistik yang menggunakan metode asumsi dari beberapa negara yang telah mengimplementasikan teknologi LTE. Jumlah pengguna LTE tahun 2013 pada kota Denpasar adalah sebesar 2248 orang.

Abstract

Perkembangan jaringan Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) adalah dengan ditetapkannya standar yang dikeluarkan oleh Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) yaitu WLAN IEEE 802.11g. Penelitian ini untuk menentukan kualitas layanan (Quality of Service) video conference pada jaringan WLAN 802.11g, sehingga dapat menjadi masukan untuk perancangan video conference. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi dapat disimpulkan pada perhitungan teoritis throughput maksimum WLAN 802.11g pada data rate 54 Mbps adalah 20,78 Mbps, bertambahnya jumlah client dan peningkatan frame rate berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai bitrate dan packet loss.

Abstract

One of the most important phases in image storage is compression. Most current imagecompression methods are spatial. In this article, we present an image compression techniquebased on Multi-level Thresholding. The grayscale images are divided into groups based on thenet probabilistic division. To determine the grouping uncertainty, Shannon Entropy is used.Optimization methods have also been added to obtain more optimal settings. DifferentialEvolution is an optimization technique. Image histogram is a graph that depicts the distributionof pixel intensity values of an image. Image compression performance measurement wasmeasured using FSIM (Feature Similarity Index Measure) and SSIM (Structural Similarity IndexMeasure).

Abstract

Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a dynamic wireless mobile node network, without using network infrastructure such as limited power (because it uses batteries). Mobility of each node that is able to move in all directions, and autonomy of each node in determining its own route to forward the data plan. Therefore, in this study we will see the performance of MANET on IEEE 802.11 g WLAN with a data rate that is different from an AODV routing protocol. This simulation observes changes in data rates ranging from 1, 2.5 Mbps, using WLAN 802.11 g. For parameters used in the data rate starting from 1, 2, 5, Mbps using WLAN 802.11 g obtained the Package Loss value at a data rate of 5 Mbps by 0.98%, the highest value of the highest throughput was generated at a data rate of 1 Mbps of 313,715 bps, and the delay for the data rate of 5 Mbps was 0.0008 second.

Abstract

One of the changes in the field of telecommunications is the use of wireless technology. Wireless technology is applied to computer networks better known as Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). Network coverage quality measurements can be seen from categories of delay or suspension, excess queues on the network, increased traffic, and output results. By using Wi-Fi Analyzer and Ekahau software we get the Quality of Service (QoS) value to see how good the coverage of the existing wireless network is. The result of the measurement is analyzed to get the adjustment of the wireless area coverage formula so that it can find the maximum range used as a reference in placing the ideal access point. The addition of access point points is done on all buildings where at some point the area can not be reached as a whole.

Abstract

Penggunaan WLAN sebagai perpanjangan dari infrastruktur kabel LAN yang sudah ada menawarkan kenyamanan mobilitas bagi para pengguna terutama dalam lingkungan bisnis dan perusahaan. Penggunaan WLAN dapat diaplikasikan dalam video streaming dari sisi penerima saat menampilkan media tanpa harus menunggu keseluruhan file data dapat di terima disisi client. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menunjukkan dampak konfigurasi terhadap traffik QoS video streaming pada jaringan wireless repeater berbasis teknologi 802.11n. Parameter yang dianalisa untuk me-nguji performansi jaringan wireless 802.11n pada topologi wireless repeater yaitu Delay, Jitter, Packet Loss dan Throughput. Sehingga mendapatkan nilai pada skenario di dalam ruangan tidak lebih baik dibandingkan skenario di luar ruangan bila dilihat dari nilai parameter performansi aplikasi video streaming hal tersebut terjadi akibat halangan yang terdapat pada skenario di dalam ruangan dan penurunan kualitas sinyal wifi akibat halangan tersebut.

Abstract

Wireless network is one of the most important things in the development of telecommunication. However, the existing wireless technology has not been able to efficiently create a very high data rate because it was very sensitive to fading. Therefore, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology combined with MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) transceiver system was used to gain more diversity and bandwidth efficiency. The propagation performed on the OFDM MIMO system was multipath propagation. To reduce Intersymbol Interference (ISI) was used Zero Forcing (ZF) equalizer which works by combining channel response and equalizer response itself to eliminate ISI. This study aims to determine the effect of Zero Forcing Equalizer on OFDM MIMO system using rayleigh fading channel and compared the result with OFDM MIMO STBC system. The research method used was simulation using MatLab R2015a. The simulation results showed that the performance of OFDM MIMO ZF system was worse than OFDM MIMO STBC system i.e BER vs EbNo simulation, eye diagram simulation, and constellation diagram simulation. The OFDM MIMO ZF system was required an Eb / No value more than 25 dB to achieve BER 10-4 while the OFDM MIMO STBC system only required an Eb / No value of 10.5 dB to achieve BER 10-4. The eye pattern generated by the OFDM MIMO ZF system was more closed and the dispersion of constellation signals away from the ideal point while OFDM MIMO STBC system displayed a more open eye pattern and the dispersion of its constellation signal closer to the ideal point. It indicated more ISI occurs in the OFDM MIMO ZF system than that in OFDM MIMO STBC system.

Abstract

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) memecah data serialberkecepatan tinggi menjadi data paralel dengan kecepatan yang lebih rendah, kemudian data-datatersebut dibawa oleh subcarrier yang saling orthogonal. Kelemahan OFDM yaitu tingginyaperbandingan daya puncak terhadap daya rata-rata atau biasa disebut Peak to Average Power Ratio(PAPR). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mereduksi nilai PAPR yang tinggi. Penelitian dilakukan padaDFT-OFDM tanpa maupun dengan menggunakan teknik clipping filtering. Clipping yang digunakanadalah classical clipping dan deep clipping. Clipping filtering bekerja dengan memotong keluaran dariIDFT yang dianggap melebihi threshold. Dari simulasi yang dilakukan, nilai PAPR saat CCDF = 10-3adalah 10,6 dB. Saat dilakukan proses classical clipping PAPR bernilai 4,1 dB sedangkan saatmengalami proses deep clipping sebesar 4,7 dB.

Abstract

The development of very rapid communication technology specifically on 4G networks. cannot be separated from various problems, one of which is the occurrence of traffic density which causes transmission data rate decline.Telecommunications services in particular throughput has increased access. From this problem, this paper studies the simulation results of 4G LTE network throughput compared to the results of the drive test on the renon cluster. From the simulation, it known that the coverage area of 1.31 km2 and the speed of data access are termed by the equipment user 4,000 kbps to 5,000 kbps. While the results of drive test analysis using G-NetTrack Pro software with dedicated method from the existing eNodeB AKABA_PL, MYAMIN_CR, and BUNDARANRENON_PL data. The average downlink obtained by users is 2 Mbps, distance 100 to 800 meters that can be drawn on each sector eNodeB. The parameters measured are RSRP, RSRQ, SINR and throughput. Analysis of the drive test results found parameters that affect access speed when downloading and several other factors. Furthermore, the parameters of the downlink throughput was compared to the simulation results with the measurement data in the field and from the comparison made the results are linear.
