Abstrak—Pada paper ini penerapan teknologi 4G LTE di Indonesia dan kendalanya, kemudian dibandingkan dengan penerapannya di dunia (dalam hal ini digunakan contoh di India), akan diuraikan pada paper ini. Pada saat ini perkembangan teknologi jaringan nirkabel di Indonesia sudah berkembang dengan pesat. Demikian juga dengan jaringan 4G LTE sudah mulai dikembangkan di Indonesia. Tetapi jaringan 4G ini tidak bisa diimplementasikan dengan sempurna. Hal ini disebabkan karena infrastruktur yang belum memadai termasuk hardware dan softwarenya, dan juga regulasi yang mengatur penerapan 4G LTE ini juga belum memiliki kesiapan.Kata Kunci— Jaringan 4G; LTE; WiMAX

Abstrak — Selama ini Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Udayana masih menggunakan cara manual dengan menempel lembar pengumuman pada papan informasi yang tersedia. Berdasarkan hal ini maka diperlukan pengunaan Digital Signage pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro. Mengingat Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Udayana memiliki tiga buah LCD yang belum difungsikan secara optimal sebagai media penyampaian informasi.Sebelum penyisipan konten ada beberapa kebutuhan sistem yang dipersiapkan yaitu kebutuhan perangkat keras, kebutuhan perangkat lunak dan persiapan awal XIBO Digital Signage.Untuk dapat menyisipkan konten kedalam Elektro News, maka terlebih dahulu harus dipersiapkan layout. Setelah layout siap, buat region sesuaikan dengan kebutuhan desain. Region ini dapat diubah-ubah ukurannya. Region ini merupakan wadah dimana konten disisipkan.Kata Kunci –Digital Signage, XIBO, Elektro News

Sebagian besar masyarakat Bali mampu berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Bali, akan tetapi hanya sedikit orang Bali yang mampu dan mengerti tata penulisan Aksara Bali. Hal ini terjadi karena tata cara penulisan Aksara Bali aturannya cukup kompleks. Diperlukan cara-cara yang inovatif untuk menarik minat masyarakat dalam mempelajari Aksara Bali, salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini membahas desain perangkat lunak SMS dengan translasi text Aksara Bali. Dalam pembuatan desain perangkat lunak ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu: pengumpulan data dan literatur, identifikasi permasalahan, desain dan perancangan sistem, serta implementasi dan pengujian. Hasil desain translasi text Aksara Bali pada perangkat lunak SMS berupa: perancangan proses translasi text Aksara Bali, perancangan proses pegiriman SMS, dan perancangan proses penerimaan SMS. Sedangkan desain antar muka translasi text Aksara Bali pada perangkat lunak SMS berupa desain antarmuka pengiriman dan penerimaan SMS.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a test used to measure a person'sEnglish proficiency. Generally, the TOEFL test is used as one of the requirements to graduateat domestic universities, to enter universities abroad, or to work in a country. In this research,the LMS (Learning Management System) was used for implement the TOEFL. LMS is anapplication system that was developed specifically to manage online class (e-learning), andshare subject matter. Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is anLMS that is usually used in online learning activities. The results of this research that theTOEFL was successfully created as a Moodle plugin and according to the SUS (SystemUsability Scale) test that has been calculated, it got a score of 89, indicating this application hasa high level of feasibility.

Quizzes are used by teachers in the learning evaluation process which aims todetermine the extent of mastery of the material provided by the teacher to students. The quizconsists of several items about which are carried out directly by students. In this study, thisresearch was carried out online by students in groups using a Learning Management System(LMS), namely Moodle with the help of a plugin. The result of the work is that the availability ofthe current score only produces 1 and then these values are to be developed for each studentin the same group. This resulted in the evaluation process of learning in the quiz to be less fairBased on this problem, a plugin that can process is created that can process from workbased on personal views generated by students. The personal score is then used to calculatethe score by taking the average of all students in the group. Furthermore, the final valueobtained from the calculation of the ratio of personal values to group values. This final score willbe used to evaluate learning in the use of quizzes using Moodle. The results of the study aftertesting the system usability scale (SUS) showed that plugins that had good feasibility andblackbox testing methods declared the plugin well.

The paper proposed usage of LMS Moodle for adaptive learning implementation because of its simplicity and its capabilities. LMS Moodle has wide range of features to satisfy many learning styles. Adaptive learning design in this paper recommended blended learning method which involves face-to-face activity and LMS Moodle utilization. In this initial design stage, only five LMS Moodle activities were chosen. The selected activities have met all learning styles requirements.

Domestic violence is the most common case in the community. Women and children are victims of domestic violence. In Denpasar, Indonesia, currently, data collection system of victims of domestic violence (KDRT) is conducted by the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Agency. It is still has some limitations because it is operating manually. Through this web-based data collection system of domestic violence, a complaint report on domestic violence can be done digitally so it does not need to report manually to the authorities. In this system, the victims will be given freedom to show or hide their identity. This system receives input filled form of violent reports; next, the complaints report can be known by others (not admin) anonymously. After the complaint report get into in the system, it will be done the next process which is verification. The results of the verification process will determine the validity of complaint reports. After passing the verification process, report data will be recorded in the system and will be done the formulation of follow-up to the action of the case by the legislation authorities.

Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology is a technique that can be used to overcome multipath fading. The multipath fading is caused by signals coming from several paths that experience different attenuations, delays and phases. In a multipath condition, an impulse that sent by the transmitter, will be received by the recipient not as an impulse but as a pulse with a spread width that called delay spread. Delay spread can cause intersymbol interference (ISI) and bit translation errors from the information received. To determine the effect of delay spread on the MIMO system, then MIMO system performance research was performed on flat fading and frequency selective fading channels using the Space Time Block Code (STBC) coding technique. This research was conducted using MatLab 2018a software. The simulation results show that the MIMO STBC system performance on flat fading channels is better than the MIMO STBC system performance on the frequency selective fading channel. This result is analyzed based on the value of BER vs. Eb/No and eye diagram.

This paper study the performance of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system over AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels. OFDM performs multi-carrier transmission where all the subcarriers are orthogonal to each other. The channel coding was applied to improve the OFDM system performance. Reed Solomon (RS) codes was chosen that an efficient channel coding algorithm and has intense error correction ability. Adding the benefits of multicarrier OFDM system and Reed Solomon codes to achieve the expected system performance. The coded OFDM system was modeled over and simulated using Matlab. The bit error rate (BER) and energy bit (Eb) per noise power density (No) was performed during system simulations. QPSK modulation was used to modulate the random bits. From the simulation results It can be seen that BER vs. EB/No parameter for Coded OFDM system lower than uncoded OFDM. This was because RS codes succeed to correcting the error generated along data transmission.

This paper investigates clipping and filtering techniques in reducing peak average power ratio (PAPR) of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. The concept of OFDM is to split a high speed serial data into parallel data at a lower speed, then the parallel data carried by mutually orthogonal subcarriers. The high of PAPR is one of disadvantages of OFDM system. The high PAPR can damages the form of OFDM and reduces its performance. The purpose of this study is to reduce PAPR using simulation. OFDM was simulated with and without clipping filtering then compared. The methods used to reduce PAPR was clipping and filtering technique. Clipping and filtering technique operates by clipping the output of inverse Fourier transform that exceed the threshold. Graphics PAPR vs. CCDF was used to evaluate the performance of OFDM systems. PAPR for OFDM system using Fourier transform when CCDF = 10-3 is 11,2 dB, with classical clipping PAPR was 4,1 dB and PAPR 4,6 dB when with deep clipping.
