Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of children's singing on listening and speaking skills in playgroup children at KB Methodist North Jakarta. The focus of the study was on children aged 3-4 years. This study was conducted because, in the Methodist Playgroup, several children were found to be lacking in listening skills and not yet fluent in speaking. The method used was quantitative analysis, with an experimental model, which tested the effect of children's singing on listening and speaking skills. From the results of the study, it showed that the application of children's singing had a significant effect on listening and speaking skills, with a significance value of 0.000 which was smaller than α = 0.05, so that the hypothesis in this study was accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of the KurPa (Early Childhood Education Curriculum) application in improving Early Childhood Education learning management in Cluster 2, Garut City District. The development method used is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). While data processing is carried out using a qualitative and quantitative mixed method approach. Qualitative data processing is carried out for feasibility testing through expert testing and collecting interview notes, and documentation. Quantitative data processing for effectiveness testing through a one-way t-test with a significance of 0.05 in a large group of preexperimental one group pretest posttest. The results of the study obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 indicating that 0.000 <0.05 which proves that the H1 hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is an increase in learning management with the KurPa Application. Thus, the KurPa application significantly increases teacher efficiency in preparing learning plans, increases parental involvement in the learning process, and provides more effective feedback for teachers and parents. In addition, the KurPa application is also considered user-friendly and easy to use by Early Childhood Education teachers. This study concludes that the KurPa application can be an effective solution in improving Early Childhood Education learning management.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the effect of the stimulation of the voca letter sticker game into a meaningful word on the interest in reading in children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Bintang Kecil Rawamangun, East Jakarta. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach. The subjects of the study were children aged 5-6 years who participated in learning with the media of vowel stickers. The vaid and reliability of the research instrument were tested, with the results showing that all items of the vaid questionnaire were vaid (correlation coefficient > rtable = 0.5494) and high reliability (Cronbach's Apha = 0.918).  These findings affirm the importance of creative and interactive learning methods in early childhood education and make a significant contribution to the development of more innovative curricula and learning strategies. This research can make a positive contribution to the development of more effective curriculum and learning strategies for early childhood education. In addition, it is hoped that this study can also provide a more comprehensive understanding of the importance of applying the method of stimulating the game of Vocal letter stickers into meaningful words to the interest in reading in children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the Android-based NumTrack Kids application on numeracy literacy skills in children aged 4-6 years at RA Akbar Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. This research method is quantitative with an experimental approach (pre-experimental design) which includes treatment. The data obtained from this research are the results of abilities before and after carrying out the Android-based learning process using the "Numtrack kids" application. The pretest carried out in this research was carried out without using the "Numtrackids" application. Meanwhile, the final posttest results were obtained from children's numeracy literacy skills using the "Numtrack kids" application. The research population was 43 with a research sample of 21 children. The t test results obtained a sig value = 0.002, which is smaller than α = 0.05. Thus, this means that there is an influence of the Android-based Numtrack Kids application on the Numeracy Literacy abilities of children aged 4-6 years at RA Akbar Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of storytelling skills of Early Childhood Education teachers on Cluster 4 Early Childhood Education in Kacang Panjang, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta. Storytelling is an important learning method in early childhood education to develop literacy, imagination, and children's social-emotional skills. This study used a survey method in a descriptive study involving 40 Early Childhood Education teachers from 8 educational institutions in the area. Data were obtained through a Yes-No choice test consisting of 22 statement items. The results of data analysis and discussion showed that the implementation of storytelling skills of Early Childhood Education teachers on Cluster 4 Early Childhood Education in Kacang Panjang, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta was in the "Low" category of 47.5% (19 teachers), "Medium" of 45% (18 teachers), and "High" of 7.5% (3 teachers). Based on the average value, which is 8.1%, the level of implementation of storytelling skills of EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION teachers on Cluster 4 Early Childhood Education in Kacang Panjang, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta is in the "MEDIUM" category.

Abstract

Through research on the level of understanding of ECE teachers and elementary school teachers in implementing the ECE-SD transition, researchers hope to be able to help. bridging and harmonizing​​ learning Preschool – Elementary School . In the implementation of the ECE - SD Transition, the most important thing is the level of understanding of ECE teachers and SD teachers in its implementation in ECE and SD units, which is often hampered by the absence of the same perception and collaboration between ECE teachers and SD teachers, as well as the absence of the same perception between ECE and SD units in implementing the ECE - SD transition. The purpose of this study was to see the level of understanding of ECE teachers and SD teachers in implementing the ECE - SD transition in the city of Bekasi. The researcher used a descriptive method quantitative with spread questionnaire to Teacher Early Childhood Education And Teacher SD in city Bekasi. With a sample of 70 teachers , the results obtained were that level of understanding of ECE teachers and elementary school teachers about the ECE – SD transition in the city Bekasi is at on category " Low " as big as 71 , 4 3% ( 50 Teacher), " Currently " as big as 24.28 % ( 17 teachers), and "High" 4.29 % ( 3 teachers). Abstract

This study aims to develop Bakastif game products at the Raudhatul Athfal institution in Penjaringan District, North Jakarta in stimulating concentration skills for ADHD children. This study uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The research location was at Raudhatul Athfal, North Jakarta, involving four ADHD students from three Raudhatul Anfhal institutions as samples in the study. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, expert validation tests, feasibility and effectiveness tests in the field. The results of the study showed that teachers faced limitations in utilizing APE due to the lack of facilities that were in accordance with the conditions, needs and characteristics of ADHD children. The validation results by PAUD experts, learning media experts, and curriculum experts showed that this Bakastif game tool was feasible to use, with an average score of 84% (Very Feasible category). Implementation in three RAs showed that the Bakastif game tool was effective to use, with an effective standard of "Feasible" as a children's educational game.

Abstract

This study aims to develop NuMaze media at PAUD institutions in Merauke District in improving the concentration skills of autistic children. The development method used is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The research location was conducted at PAUD institutions in Merauke District involving four autistic children from four PAUD institutions as samples in the study. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, expert validity tests, and feasibility and effectiveness tests in the field. The results of the study showed that the assessment of validators by PAUD curriculum and learning experts, the development of children with special needs, and media development showed that NuMaze media was feasible to use, with an average score of 84% (Very Good Category). The results of the study provide implications that NuMaze media can be an effective reference in improving the concentration skills of autistic children.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan dasar kemampuan berbahasa anak, khususnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Salah satu tantangan utama dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris adalah penguasaan kosakata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan metode Letterland dalam mengenalkan kosakata bahasa Inggris kepada anak usia dini di PAUD Karunia Global School Jambi. Urgensi penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi cara efektif dalam mengajarkan kosakata bahasa Inggris dengan pendekatan multisensori yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di PAUD Karunia Global School Jambi, yang terletak di Kota Jambi, Indonesia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari lima guru dan 30 anak-anak usia 4-6 tahun yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode Letterland. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara, dengan instrumen yang dirancang untuk menggali pemahaman guru dan respons anak-anak terhadap metode yang diterapkan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis tematik, dengan triangulasi data untuk memastikan keabsahan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Letterland efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak-anak, karena penggunaan karakter-karakter yang menyenangkan dan teknik pengajaran yang melibatkan banyak indra. Penelitian ini juga menemukan faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan metode ini, termasuk keterlibatan guru, motivasi anak, dan dukungan orang tua. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang lebih menyenangkan bagi anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of understanding of PAUD teachers about stunting mitigation in PAUD Units in Talaud Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province. The researcher used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to PAUD teachers in Talaud Regency. With a sample of 35 teachers, the results showed that the level of understanding of PAUD teachers about stunting mitigation in PAUD Units in Talaud Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province was "Medium" at 49.33% (37 teachers), "Low" at 36% (27 teachers), and "High" at 14.67% (11 teachers). Based on the average value, which is 3.28%, the level of understanding of PAUD Units about the Implementation of Stunting Mitigation in Talaud Islands Regency is in the "MEDIUM" category.
