Abstract

In todays rapidly evolving digital landscape, the success of startups depends heavily on their ability to innovate and form effective partnerships. The process of connecting startups with compatible business partners is crucial, and Machine Learning (ML) has emerged as a promising solution for enhancing this matchmaking. This study utilizes the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) to examine attitudes and intentions toward adopting ML for startup matchmaking. Key factors assessed include Performance Expectancy (PE), Ease of Use (EU), Social Influence (SI), and Facilitating Conditions (FC) that affect ML adoption. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this research analyzes a diverse sample of startups, focusing on variables like Machine Learning Adoption, Data-Driven Matchmaking Strategies, Alignment with Startup Goals, Continuous Learning Integration, and Adaptable Partnerships to evaluate their impact on Matchmaking Efficiency. This study aims to shed light on ML role in enhancing the startup matching process and its overall impact on partnership effectiveness.

Abstract

This International Community Service activity is a collaboration between Catur Insan Cendekia University (UCIC) Cirebon, UNIKOM Bandung, the Department of Cooperatives, Small, Medium Enterprises, Trade and Industry (DKUKMPP) Cirebon City, and the African Institute for Multidisciplinary Studies (AIMS) Somalia, with the title 'Utilizing the Shopee Marketplace Platform to Oprimize MSMEs Business Strategies in the International Digital Economy'. This International Community Service activity aims to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in optimizing business strategies in the era of the global digital economy through the use of the Shopee Marketplace platform. This activity includes a series of training and assistance for MSME players in understanding Shopee Marketplace features, branding optimization, inventory management, and data-based sales performance analysis. Apart from that, export strategies were provided using Shopee to reach international markets. In implementation, a hybrid approach was used, involving online sessions for participants from Somalia and offline sessions for participants in Cirebon City. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding regarding the use of digital platforms to increase product visibility and competitiveness in the global market. This activity makes a real contribution to empowering MSMEs in facing the challenges of globalization in the digital economy. This international collaboration is a relevant model in developing cross-institutional synergy to support MSMEs in a sustainable manner, especially in the midst of continuously developing digital transformation.

Abstract

The performance of salespeople is greatly influenced by the incentive and commission system implemented by the company. A system that is not transparent and structured can reduce salesman motivation and productivity. This research aims to develop an application for salesman incentives and commissions as a strategy to improve marketing HR performance. The methods used in this research include requirements analysis, system design, implementation and application testing. This application is designed to be web-based to make it easier to access and increase transparency in calculating incentives and commissions. The test results show that the implementation of this application is able to increase sales force satisfaction and motivation through a fairer and real-time commission calculation system. Apart from that, the sales target tracking feature and automatic rewards contribute to improving marketing HR performance. The conclusion of this research is that the use of digital-based applications can be an effective solution in increasing transparency, trust and salesman motivation, which ultimately has a positive impact on sales productivity.

Abstract

The integration of Information Technology (IT) has significantly transformed modern education, particularly classroom dynamics, by enhancing accessibility to information and enabling personalized learning experiences. This paper aims to explore both the positive impacts and challenges of IT adoption in the classroom, focusing on the importance of Computer Science in shaping effective teaching practices. The study analyzes tools like Learning Management Systems (LMS), simulation software, and data analysis platforms, which improve engagement between students and teachers but also highlight challenges such as the digital divide and less interactive learning. Understanding fundamental Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, programming, and networking, is key to developing innovative solutions that enhance classroom learning. The results show that while IT has revolutionized education by facilitating online learning and collaboration, it also presents challenges that must be addressed, such as access to resources and the need for more interactive learning experiences. To optimize IT’s impact, the paper recommends continuous teacher training, better integration of technology with curricula, and improved access to devices and internet connectivity, ensuring a more inclusive and innovative learning environment in the digital age.

Abstract

Website desa memiliki peran penting dalam menyediakan informasi dan layanan digital bagi masyarakat, namun masih banyak yang belum optimal dalam hal kegunaan, keterlibatan pengguna, dan kepuasan. Permasalahan utama adalah kurangnya keselarasan antara kebutuhan pengguna dengan desain yang ada, sehingga tingkat interaksi dan partisipasi warga rendah. Metode Goal Directed Design dipilih karena fokusnya pada pengidentifikasian kebutuhan dan tujuan pengguna, yang kemudian diterapkan dalam desain. Proses ini dimulai dengan pengumpulan data kualitatif melalui field study atau wawancara, dilanjutkan dengan pendefinisian user model, dan kebutuhan pengguna serta teknis desain melalui konteks skenario. Kemudian, konsep desain dibuat dalam bentuk wireframe, diikuti oleh visualisasi desain website. Tahap akhir adalah evaluasi untuk memastikan desain memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Hasilnya adalah prototipe website Desa Kepongpongan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, mudah digunakan, dan mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan serta partisipasi warga. Evaluasi akhir menggunakan USER EXPERIENCE QUISIONNAIRE (UEQ) menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Goal Directed Design berhasil menciptakan desain UI/UX yang lebih efektif dan efisien, dengan skor keseluruhan 1,69 ("Good"), kualitas hedonis 1,62 ("Excellent"), dan kualitas pragmatis 1,66 ("Excellent"). Kata kunci: : Goal Directed Design,Website,User Experience Quisionaire,UI/UX

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged institutions, including hospitals, to adopt digital systems to improve operational efficiency. One important aspect is the employee attendance system, which previously relied on fingerprints. This method has limitations, such as difficulty detecting when fingers are not in ideal condition and causing queues during peak hours. This research aims to design and implement an Android-based attendance system using the Eigenface facial recognition method as a faster, safer, and more accurate alternative. Eigenface works by extracting facial features using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), thus being able to efficiently recognize individual identities. The system was developed with MySQL database integration and tested on employees of Khalishah General Hospital. The implementation results showed that the system can recognize faces with a good level of accuracy and increase the effectiveness of attendance recording. Furthermore, the use of facial-based attendance can minimize the potential for fraud and increase user comfort because it does not require physical contact. Thus, the Eigenface method has proven feasible to be implemented as a modern attendance solution to support employee attendance management in hospital work environments and other institutions.

Abstract

This study evaluates the service maturity of the e-Visa system at the Class I TPI Cirebon Immigration Office with reference to two ITIL 4 practices: Incident Management and Service Request Management. Operationally, the office acts as a user while technical handling is centralized at a national helpdesk. A mixed-method approach was applied, combining staff/admin questionnaires with instrument validity, reliability checks, snapshot analysis of helpdesk tickets, and brief observations. The analysis identifies key issues: the absence of a locally agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA), delays in resolving high-priority incidents, and inconsistent communication of status and estimated time to resolution. Findings indicate a gap between perceived process maturity and ticket-based operational performance, especially for high-priority cases. The study proposes actionable improvements formalizing SLAs with the central team, a fast-track for urgent cases, concise submission guidance for routine requests, and results of the web-based recommendation dashboard. These results are relevant for similar user units operating under centralized support.

Abstract

Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) adalah wujud bantuan sosial dari pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas hidup masyarakat yang miskin dan rentan. Namun, dalam praktiknya sering kali muncul masalah seperti ketidaksesuaian sasaran penerima bantuan. Maka dari itu, diperlukan suatu sistem prediksi yang dapat mendukung Dinas Sosial Kota Cirebon dalam mengevaluasi kelayakan calon penerima bantuan dengan cara yang lebih objektif dan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem prediksi penerima bantuan PKH dengan menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes untuk klasifikasi data, serta menggabungkannya dengan teknik Laplace Smoothing untuk mengatasi probabilitas nol pada data kategori yang jarang muncul. Data yang digunakan berasal dari keluarga di Kota Cirebon dengan berbagai atribut, antara lain pekerjaan, jumlah anak, ibu hamil, dan disabilitas lansia. Temuan dari penelitian adalah sistem yang dikembangkan dapat memprediksi kelayakan penerima bantuan PKH dengan tingkat akurasi yang sayang sangat baik. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu berfungsi sebagai alat bantu dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk Dinas Sosial dalam menyalurkan bantuan dengan lebih tepat dan adil.

Abstract

Manajemen inventori yang efisien merupakan faktor kritis dalam mendukung kontinuitas operasional dan pelayanan pelanggan, terutama di sektor otomotif dimana ketersediaan suku cadang sangat penting. CV. Grage Mandiri, sebuah bengkel yang menyediakan layanan ganti oli, suku cadang, dan layanan kendaraan lainnya, saat ini mengelola inventori secara manual yang sering mengakibatkan ketidakakuratan jumlah pesanan, penumpukan stok, atau stok mati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem manajemen inventori berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan optimal dan titik pemesanan ulang. Dataset yang digunakan meliputi data penjualan produk sepanjang tahun 2024. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dan database MySQL, dengan pendekatan Waterfall. Fitur utama meliputi perhitungan EOQ otomatis, notifikasi restok, dan Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) untuk berbagai peran pengguna (service advisor, staff gudang, dan owner). Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem meningkatkan akurasi stok, mengurangi risiko kelebihan stok dan kehabisan stok, serta meningkatkan efisiensi operasional secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi strategis untuk meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen inventori di CV. Grage Mandiri.

Abstract

PT. Arteria Daya Mulia sebagai perusahaan manufaktur benang yang mengoperasikan 78 mesin produksi selama 24 jam non-stop menghadapi permasalahan kritis dalam manajemen pemeliharaan mesin. Proses penentuan prioritas pemeliharaan yang masih dilakukan secara manual meningkatkan risiko downtime tidak terencana, pemborosan biaya operasional, dan penurunan produktivitas. Kondisi ini bertentangan dengan standar sertifikasi internasional yang telah dimiliki perusahaan (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, dan ISO 45001:2018), sehingga diperlukan sistem terkomputerisasi yang mampu menentukan prioritas pemeliharaan secara sistematis, objektif, dan terukur untuk menjaga keberlangsungan produksi dan daya saing perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi berbasis web yang mengintegrasikan metode Straight Line untuk perhitungan penyusutan mesin dan Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) untuk penentuan prioritas pemeliharaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan sistem dengan tahapan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara untuk memperoleh data primer berupa catatan pemeliharaan harian, data teknis mesin, serta data historis frekuensi kerusakan periode Januari 2022-Desember 2024. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan Laravel, PHP, dan MySQL dengan empat kriteria SAW: akumulasi penyusutan (30%), usia mesin (25%), frekuensi kerusakan (25%), dan waktu downtime (20%). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sistem mampu menghitung penyusutan tahunan Rp5.945.294-Rp10.405.385 dengan nilai buku mesin mencapai 10% dari harga perolehan. Pemeringkatan SAW menghasilkan mesin A46 sebagai prioritas tertinggi (skor 0,62). Sistem terbukti efektif dalam mengolah data historis 3 tahun, menghasilkan keputusan pemeliharaan yang objektif dan terukur, serta mengurangi risiko downtime tidak terencana dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional.
