Abstract

Abstract

Green technology has emerged as a critical field of research due to growing global concerns about climate change and environmental degradation. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to explore research trends in green technology and their impact on the global economy. The analysis covers publications from 1981 to 2024 and reveals a significant increase in research output, particularly after 2000, driven by global efforts to promote sustainability. Key themes identified include green technology innovation, investment, green growth, and technical advancements in green chemistry and solvents. China and the United States lead in research output and international collaboration, highlighting the global nature of green technology research. However, challenges such as the high costs of green technology adoption and the need for more interdisciplinary research persist. This study concludes that while green technology research has made substantial progress, future efforts must focus on making these technologies more economically viable and accessible, particularly in developing regions.

Abstract

This article discusses the optimization of sinker electrical discharge machining (sinker EDM) processes using SPHC material that has been hardened. The sinker EDM method is widely employed, for example, in the production of moulds, dies, and automotive and aeronautical components. There is neither contact nor a cutting force between the electrode and the work material in sinker EDM. The disadvantage of the sinker EDM is its low material removal rate. This work aims to optimize the material removal rate (MRR) using graphene electrodes in a rectangular configuration. The SPHC material was selected to determine the optimum MRR model of the sinker EDM input parameter. The Taguchi experimental design was chosen. The Taguchi technique used three input parameters and three experimental levels. Pulse current (I), spark on time (Ton), and gap voltage were among the input parameters (Vg). The graphite rectangle was chosen as an electrode material. The input parameter effect was evaluated by S/N ratio analysis. The result showed that pulse current has the most significant impact on material removal rate in the initial study, followed by spark on time and gap voltage. All input parameters are directly proportional to the MRR. For optimal material removal rate, the third level of pulse current, spark on time, and gap voltage must be maintained. In addition, the proposed Taguchi optimization model could be applied to an existing workshop floor as a simple and practical electronic tool for predicting wear and future research.

Abstract

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into workplaces presents both opportunities and challenges for organizations, particularly in managing human capital. Drawing on Human Capital Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), this study investigates how organizations address AI-related challenges such as skill gaps, employee resistance, and job displacement concerns. The research aims to identify effective strategies for enhancing workforce readiness and adaptability in the AI era. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 respondents from diverse industries, complemented by statistical analysis to examine correlations between training frequency and AI implementation success. The findings reveal that digital and social skills training, fostering an innovation-supportive culture, and involving workers in technological transitions are critical to effective adaptation. Statistical results indicate a significant positive correlation between the frequency of digital skills training and AI integration success. This study contributes to the literature by integrating technical and social competencies into a unified human capital strategy framework, offering actionable guidance for organizations navigating AI-driven transformation. The results provide theoretical and practical implications for policy design to support sustainable workforce development in the context of automation and AI adoption.

Abstract

Global supply chains face challenges like demand fluctuations, supply uncertainties, and changing regulations, making stakeholder collaboration vital for performance and sustainability. This study examines how collaboration among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, customers, NGOs, and regulators enhances supply chain efficiency and resilience. Through a qualitative review of literature from 2020–2025, sourced from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, the analysis highlights that collaboration reduces lead times, optimizes logistics, lowers costs, and integrates environmental and social objectives. Key success factors include trust, clear communication, aligned objectives, technology adoption, long-term commitment, and skilled human resources. However, barriers such as conflicting interests, technological disparities, trust deficits, global complexities, and high initial costs pose challenges. Case studies like Unilever’s “Partner to Win” and Walmart’s Project Gigaton show significant reductions in CO₂ emissions, cost savings, and environmental impact through effective stakeholder coordination. The findings emphasize that integrated digital platforms, strong governance, and multicultural management skills are critical for advancing sustainable collaboration in global supply chains.
