Abstract

PT SPLN merupakan salah satu perusahaan penanaman modal dalam negeri yang bergerak di bidang industri panel listrik, variable air volume, fire damper, dan diffuser. Pada saat volume pemesanan meningkat, perusahaan menerapkan kebijakan overtime atau penambahan jam kerja bagi karyawan. Hal tersebut berdampak pada menurunnya tingkat kehadiran karyawan di hari berikutnya sebesar 20%, yakni sekitar 3-5 pekerja dari total 18 orang. Selain memengaruhi kehadiran, kebijakan overtime juga memicu kelelahan fisik maupun mental pada pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur besarnya beban fisik serta mental yang dirasakan oleh karyawan, sekaligus mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Beban kerja mental diukur menggunakan metode NASA-TLX, sedangkan beban fisik diukur dengan metode analisis beban kardiovaskular (Cardiovascular Load atau CVL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelelahan fisik (CVL) ditemukan pada hampir seluruh operator produksi dengan tingkat di atas 30%. Sementara itu, metode NASA-TLX mengindikasikan bahwa faktor performansi memiliki dampak paling besar dalam memengaruhi beban kerja karyawan, yaitu sebesar 44,79%.

Abstract

General Background Productivity measurement is essential for logistics companies to maintain operational performance and resource efficiency. Specific Background The operational activities of Ninja Xpress during 2024 experienced fluctuating output and rising costs of labor, energy, and maintenance, requiring systematic evaluation. Knowledge Gap Previous studies discussed the Marvin E. Mundel method separately from strategic analysis, while integrated measurement and strategy formulation within a single logistics company remain limited. Aims This study measures operational productivity and formulates improvement strategies using the Marvin E. Mundel quantitative approach combined with SWOT analysis. Results The calculated productivity index shows monthly variation, with the highest value recorded in September at 129.81% and the lowest in April at 97.56%, while the SWOT matrix positions the company in Quadrant I, indicating strong internal capacity and favorable opportunities. Novelty The integration of numerical productivity indices with structured internal–external evaluation provides a comprehensive diagnostic framework. Implications The findings support data-driven decision making, periodic performance monitoring, and strategic planning to strengthen logistics operations and competitiveness. Abstract

General Background: Rural food-processing UMKM frequently face production bottlenecks due to limited and inefficient equipment. Specific Background: In Wonosunyo Village, cassava chip production relies on manual cutting, causing long processing times and unmet market demand. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies rarely quantify cost–function trade-offs when repurposing existing machines for UMKM-scale production. Aims: This study analyzes the modification of an existing selep machine into a cassava chip cutting machine using the Value Engineering method to achieve optimal function with minimal cost. Results: The modified machine reduced cutting constraints, offered additional functional features, and required a total cost of IDR 1,434,000, substantially lower than commercially available machines priced at IDR 9,500,000. Novelty: The study demonstrates a systematic Value Engineering application that maximizes underutilized village machinery into a multifunctional production tool. Implications: The findings provide a practical model for cost-efficient technological development that supports productivity and sustainability of rural UMKM without heavy capital investment.
