Abstract

The introduction and use of traditional medicine is an alternative step to carry out natural and effective treatment. Traditional medicine has great potential to improve people's health. Not many people use herbs for medicinal purposes, so the community service activity team aims to increase knowledge about Traditional Medicine (Herbal Medicine), especially for teenagers. Currently, teenagers prefer to use modern medicine, so their knowledge and experience regarding traditional medicine are still very lacking. Knowledge about herbal medicine is important for teenagers because it can help them use traditional medicine appropriately. Good knowledge of herbal medicine can also help prevent traditional medicine that can heal from becoming dangerous. The activity method is carried out using education through counseling about the introduction and use of traditional medicine (Herbal Medicine), which is carried out for students at Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Foundation Middle School, Masjid Kyai Muara Ogan Street, Kertapati Palembang. This activity was held on December 19, 2024, with 50 participants from Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Foundation Middle School students. The activity results stated that students understood the counseling about using traditional medicine (Herbal Medicine) well.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the long-term conditions that can lead to serious complications. One of the best ways to reduce the risk of hypertension complications is to inform people about blood pressure checks and to have blood pressure checks early. Therefore, the purpose of the activity is to increase knowledge of early detection of blood pressure checks in preventing the risk of hypertension complications, the method of activity with education and blood pressure checks was carried out on Elementary Madrasah and Junior High School Teachers of the Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Foundation Jl. Kyai Muara Ogan Mosque Kertapati Palembang, totaling 15 people on December 19, 2024. The results of the activity stated that teachers understand early detection of blood pressure checks in preventing the risk of hypertension complications. The conclusion of the activity stated that teachers' knowledge increased after direct evaluation after education and mentoring were carried out.

Abstract

An effective and environmentally friendly dishwashing soap is needed because conventional dishwashing soaps often contain harmful chemicals that can damage the environment. Petai cina leaves, or Moringa oleifera, have antibacterial and antioxidant properties, making them a natural choice for cleaning care. Housewives will not be separated from dishwashing soap, so the PkM team aims to Socialize the Making of Dishwashing Soap with the Innovation of Adding Petai Cina Leaf Infusion to Teachers at the Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Islamic Education Foundation. The method used is education and explaining how to make it, although not all participants can make it, at least they know the process of making it, the number of participants is 15 teachers, carried out on December 19, 2024. The results of the activity showed that participants were enthusiastic about participating in the activity. After the educational activities and mentoring, teachers understood what was explained by the speaker.

Abstract

Acne is a common skin problem experienced by the community. Characterized by red spots, inflammation, and blackheads, or clogged pores, on the face, neck, and back. Acne is a scary specter for teenagers, especially during puberty, where teenagers want to look their best and glowing, this will be a big problem if the teenager has acne, it will reduce their level of self-confidence, so there is a need for education for students. The purpose of this PkM activity is to introduce students to the innovation of natural products that can be used to treat acne. The method of activity carried out by means of education and assistance in the Innovation of Natural Products That Can Be Used to Treat Acne. The education participants were students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and SMP Yayasan Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah totaling 50 students. The activity was carried out on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The results of the activity showed that the students were very enthusiastic about participating, and the students had understood what was explained by the speaker. The conclusion of the activity shows that there was an increase in student knowledge after being given education about Natural Product Innovations That Can Be Used to Treat Acne.

Abstract

Muscle pain is a common muscle pain experienced by people. Actually, there are household spices that can be used to reduce muscle pain, including ginger, turmeric, galangal, and pepper, etc., therefore the community service activity team aims to provide education about the benefits of Household Spices to Relieve Muscle Pain. The activity method is by means of education and introduction of Household Spices to Relieve Muscle Pain, the activity was carried out on Elementary and Middle School Teachers of the Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Foundation Jl. Kyai Muara Ogan Kertapati Palembang Mosque, totaling 15 people on December 19, 2024. The results of the activity stated that the teachers understood the Utilization of Household Spices to Relieve Muscle Pain.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih serta penerapan sistem informasi pelayanan dapat memudahkan pelaku usaha dalam mengelola bisnis dengan baik serta dapat mengefisienkan waktu. Seperti bisnis laundry yang saat ini banyak dikembangkan oleh pelaku usaha salah satunya yaitu PT. Citra Bersih Cemerlang. Namun, perusahaan tersebut memiliki masalah pada bagian proses pemesanan yang masih menggunakan sistem manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan rancang sistem informasi manajemen berbasis aplikasi android menggunakan metode waterfall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perancangan aplikasi android mampu melakukan pencatatan sistem perusahaan secara otomatis sehingga dapat mengefisienkan waktu dan meringankan beban kerja pegawai serta pemilik usaha.

Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan agroindustri yang mengolah CPO menjadi minyak goreng. Namun dalam produksi minyak, masih terdapat permasalahan dengan pemasok CPO yaitu permintaan CPO yang tidak terpenuhi, pengiriman CPO yang tertunda, kualitas CPO yang buruk serta bahan baku CPO yang cacat lambat pada proses pengembalian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih supplier CPO yang terbaik. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk pengambilan keputusan adalah dengan menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Kriteria dalam pemilihan supplier CPO yaitu Quliaty Control, Quantity Demand, Order Fulfillment, Return dan Harga. Berdasarkan kriteria pemilihan pemasok, semua pemasok memenuhi syarat. PT. Golden Oilindo Nusantara menjadi pemasok terbaik dengan bobot 49,9%. Prioritas kedua adalah PT. Daya Semestha Agro Persada dengan bobot 20,3%. Prioritas ketiga adalah PT. Mitra Rezeki dengan bobot 14,2%. Prioritas keempat adalah PT. Citra Futura dengan bobot 9,2%. Dan prioritas kelima adalah PT. Sriwijaya Palm Oil Indonesia dengan bobot 6,3%. Maka kelima urutan tersebut adalah alternatif pemilihan pemasok CPO pada PT.XYZ.

Abstract

UKM Kain Jumputan sebagai pengrajin tie-dye menghadapi berbagai bentuk pemborosan dalam proses produksinya, seperti waktu tunggu, pergerakan yang tidak efisien, dan produk cacat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis pemborosan dalam proses produksi menggunakan pendekatan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan menganalisis penyebab kegagalan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi kedua metode tersebut dalam konteks industri kain tradisional skala kecil, serta penggunaan Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM) untuk memetakan keterkaitan antar waste secara kuantitatif. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa dari total waktu proses 3961 menit, hanya 3484 menit (88%) yang merupakan aktivitas bernilai tambah. Pemborosan terbesar terdapat pada kategori defect (19%), motion (17%), serta inventory dan waiting (masing-masing 15%). Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan integrasi VSM-FMEA dapat dijadikan alat strategis dalam mengindentifikasi dan memitigasi pemborosan secara menyeluruh pada sektor UKM kerajinan tradisional. Temuan ini relevan dengan tren global lean manufacturing dan mempunyai potensi untuk diaplikasikan pada berbagai industri serupa untuk mendorong efisiensi operasional.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is almost evenly distributed in all sectors of life, including education. The existence of the Ministry of Education and Culture's policy forces all teachers to be able to present distance learning. The problem with partners is that they haven't used the Google Classroom application optimally. The method given in this community service activity is socialization and direct training / practice by the teacher who is accompanied by a community service team. The results obtained from 20 respondents were 90% familiar with the material presented, as many as 85% were able to apply it in the class later, and the rest gave other responses.
