Abstract

Betok  (A. testudineus)  yang  dilihat  berdasarkan  makanan  utama yang  dimakan  oleh  ikan  tersebut . Penelitian analisis isi usus dan lambung dapat memberikan informasi dasar untuk menjaga kelestarian populasi ikan Betok  (A. testudineus). Penelitian analisis isi usus dan lambung ikan Betok  (A. testudineus) di  aliran  sungai Batang Masang Kenagarian Bawan Kecamatan IV, Kabupaten Agam dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei  tahun  2021. Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa  ikan Betok  (A. testudineus)  adalah jenis ikan omnivora karena dalam pencernaannya didominasi oleh jenis Bacillaryophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Protozoa, Ciliata, Rotarita/Rotifera, dan Crustasea dengan 25 jenis sebanyak 5,858 ind/ml. Pakan alami fitoplankton yang mendominasi  adalah pada klass Bacillaryophyceae dan zooplankton yang mendominasi adalah pada klas Crustasea.

Abstract

Fishery production in Padang City is dominated by catch fisheries. The catch of fish from year to year continues to increase. The purpose of this research is to study the marketing of fresh marine fish in Padang Utara District, Padang City with the SWOT method approach so that it can help traders in facing market competition and increasing sales in the future. The results showed that the more appropriate strategy to be used in determining the business development strategy of fresh sea fish traders in North Padang District, Padang City was in quadrant III, which means that it supports the Turn Around Strategy (reverse strategy) which is to achieve opportunities for fresh sea traders in the District. North Padang is very big, but on the other hand it faces some internal constraints/weaknesses. The focus of this strategy is to minimize the internal problems of fresh sea traders in North Padang District so that they can improve a better development strategy

Abstract

One type of legume that is very suitable to be used as a raw material for making lobster feed is the sworded koro nut (Canavalia ensiformis). Soybeans which are a source of vegetable protein can now be supported by sword beans. The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of artificial feed using Koro Sword Nuts (Canavalia ensiformis) as a substitute for soybean flour for Sand Lobster (Panulirus homarus) feed. The method used is the experimental method with RAL using 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments in this study were A (artificial feed without sword koro beans (control)), B (2.5% sword koro beans in 1 kg artificial feed), C (3% sword koro beans in 1 kg artificial feed), and D ( 3.5% sword koro beans in 1 kg of artificial feed). Research data were analyzed using non-parametric Kruskal Wallis statistical test and described. The test animal used was the Sand Lobster (Panulirus homarus) with a size of 8-10 cm with an average weight of 200-300 grams. The results of the physical test showed that the parameters of breaking speed, level of hardness, level of homogeneity and attractiveness were significantly different from the use of Peanut Koro Sword flour, while the parameters of sinking speed and deliciousness were not significantly different. The results of the proximate chemical test of feed using the best swordfish flour was in feed B, which contained 9.34% Moisture Content, 11.87% Ash Content, Crude Protein (N x 6.25) 29.98%, Crude Fat 6, 84 %, Carbohydrates 41.92% and Crude Fiber 5.00 %.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is claimed to be the main cause of the decline in world trade including trade in fishery products, where the total export value of world fishery products fell by 7% compared to 2019, which was the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the determinants of demand for fresh tuna exports at PPS Bungus, Padang City, in the post-pandemic Covid-19 period need to be investigated. to maintain and increase the quantity of fresh tuna exports. Based on the description above, the purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of domestic price factors, Japan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), shrimp prices, and the exchange rate on demand for fresh export tuna exports at the Bungus Ocean Fishery Port (PPPS). Padang city Post-pandemic Covid-19 period. To find out how much influence the independent variables and dependent variables have in this study, the method used is multiple regression analysis. The independent variables are tuna prices (X1), Japan's GDP per capita (X2), shrimp prices (X3), exchange rates (X4), and the dependent variable is the export quantity of fresh tuna (Y). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the price of tuna, shrimp price and exchange rate had a positive effect on the quantity of fresh tuna exports while Japan's GDP per capita had no effect on the quantity of fresh tuna exports at the Samudera Bungus Fishery Port, Padang City

Abstract

Bentos merupakan hewan yang hidup di dasar perairan dapat dikelompokan menjadi 3 yaitu: mikrobenthos, meiobenthos dan makrobenthos. Adapun peran benthos diantaranya mampu mendaur ulang bahan organik, membantu proses mineralisasi, menduduki posisi penting dalam rantai makanan dan indikator pencemaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesehatan lingkungan berdasarkan Struktur Komunitas Makrozoobentos di Sungai Masang Kecil di sekitar kawasan PT AAI Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan tiga titik sampling yaitu hulu dan 2 titik di hilir setelah kegiatan IPAL dan setelah pertemuan anak sungai. Hasil identifikasi jenis organisme Bentos secara keseluruhan teridentifikasi sebanyak 45 spesies. Spesies terbanyak dijumpai pada Kelas Insecta. Nilai keanekaragaman dikategorikan tinggi yaitu H’di Hulu= 2,35, Di hilir setelah IPAL H’=2,26 dan setelah pertemuan anak sungai H’= 2,23. Kepadatan bentos berturut-turut adalah 318,49 ind/m2, 951,76 ind/m2 dan 155,54 ind/m2. Kepadatan tertinggi berada Dapat disimpulkan kondisi bentos berada dalam kondisi baik skala 4.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh salinitas yang berbeda terhadap daya tetas Artemia sp dan salinitas terbaik terhadap daya tetas Artemia sp. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 hari, mulai dari 10 November sampai dengan 13 November tahun 2021 di rumah sendiri Jalan Pasir Kandang RT 3 RW 12. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dan menggunakan RAL (Rangcangan Acak Lengkap) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan A adalah menggunakan salinitas 25 ppt perlakuan B adalah menggunakan salinitas 30 ppt perlakuan menggunakan salinitas 35 ppt dan perlakuan 4 adalah menggunakan 40 ppt. Kista Artemia sp digunakan sebanyak 500 butir per wadah dengan jumlah total 6000 butir. Merek yang di gunakan Supreme Plus. Hasil pengamatan perlakuan B dengan salinitas 30 ppt dengan rata-rata 81.6% adalah hasil percobaan yang terbaik dalam penelitian ini, dan dilanjuti dengan perlakuan C salinitas 35 ppt dengan 77.13%, perlakuan D salinitas 40 ppt dengan hasil 63.06% dan perlakuan A salintas 25 ppt 49,8% adalah hasil yang paling rendah dalam penelitian ini

Abstract

Catfish cultivation is among the highly sought-after enterprises in Gunung Sarik, Padang City, yet catfish breeders generally lack knowledge and skills in catfish production techniques, including catfish farming methods and innovations in artificial feed or alternative feeds. Additionally, there is a lack of knowledge and skills in business management. The objective of this activity is to provide modeling to the related groups regarding catfish farming techniques, business management, and catfish production. This activity has been carried out within the catfish cultivation groups in Gunung Sarik, Kuranji Sub-district, Padang City. The methods employed include: (1) socialization; (2) training and mentoring; (3) monitoring and evaluation related to business management and catfish farming techniques systematically. The results indicate that the training and mentoring significantly benefit the development of catfish cultivation businesses in the Gunung Sarik catfish cultivation group. The group was able to organize and improve the quality of business management, implement alternative feed manufacturing technology, and apply proper catfish farming methods. This is evidenced by the increased catfish production by the group, leading to enhanced efficiency and sustainability of the catfish cultivation business. Therefore, it can be concluded that training and mentoring in catfish cultivation are effective strategies for developing catfish cultivation businesses and enhancing community empowerment. With the conducted transfer of science and technology, the group is capable of optimizing potential and increasing catfish production yields.

Abstract

Sungai Masang Kecil is located in the middle of the PT Andalas Agro Industri (PT AAI) palm oil plantation and mill. This activity will have an impact on aquatic biota, especially benthos. Benthos occupies an important position in the food chain and lives permanently on the substrate to be used as a bioindicator of pollution. This study aimed to determine the Community Structure of Macrozoobenthos and the indicator species of water pollution in the Masang Kecil River around the PT AAI area, West Pasaman Regency. This research was conducted using a purposive sampling method with three sampling points, namely upstream and two downstream points after the Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) and after the confluence of tributaries. Sampling using Surber net size 30 x 30 cm. The results of identifying the types of Bento's organisms as a whole identified as many as 45 species. Most species are found in Class Insecta. Based on the diversity index, the water quality in PT AAI's river basin was classified as unpolluted, and it could be concluded that the benthic condition was in good condition on a scale of 4. In the current study, the Diptera order as an indicator of polluted water was most commonly found among orders from other insect classes, namely, ten species. However, there were nine species from the Order Ephemeroptera as an indicator of clean waters and six species for Trichoptera.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan komersil, pemberian pakan komersil yang dikombinasikan maggot (Hermetia Illucens) dan pemberian pakan komersil yang dikombinasikan dengan usus ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan proksimat daging ikan lele (Clarias Gariepinus). Penelitian dilakukan selama 30 hari, mulai dari 27 September sampai 26 Oktober 2023 di Kecamatan Ikur Koto, Tunggul Hitam, Padang Sarai Koto Tangah, Kota Padang. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental, dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan 3 ulangan dengan sampel ikan lele sebanyak 500 gram; Perlakuan A. Pemberian pakan komersil, Perlakuan B. Pemberian Pakan Komersil yang dikombinasikan dengan Magot, dan Perlakuan C. pemberian pakan komersil yang dikombinasikan dengan usus ayam. Rata rata pertumbuhan berat ikan lele selama 4 minggu pemberian pakan percobaan, Perlakuan A sebesar 17.67 gram, Perlakuan B sebesar 10.33 gram, dan Perlakuan C sebesar 23.00 gram. Sedangkan pada pemberian pakan selama 8 minggu menghasilkan rata rata berat ikan lele adalah Perlakuan A, sebesar 35.00 gram, Perlakuan B 30.33 gram, dan Perlakuan C 45.33 gram. Pada hasil pengujian proksimat daging ikan lele terdapat pengaruh yang berbeda pada setiap perlakuan. Rata-rata nilai proksimat daging ikan lele adalah perlakuan C. Dimana Kadar Air didominasi tertinggi sebesar 69,32, Kadar Abu tertinggi pada Perlakuan C sebesar 2,31, Kandungan Lemak Kasar tertinggi pada perlakuan C yaitu sebesar 2.44, sedangkan untuk kandungan protein di dominasi tertinggi pada perlakuan A yaitu perlakuan Pemberian pakan Komersil, dan Kandungan Karbohidrat didominasi tertinggi pada perlakuan B yaitu pemberian pakan komersil dikombinasikan dengan magot. Dari beberapa hasil diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pakan komersil yang dikombinasikan dengan pakan usus ayam memberikan pengaruh positif pada pertumbuhan berat daging ikan lele, sedangkan kandungan protein kasar tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan pemberian komersil dan nilai karbohidrat tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan pemberian pakan komersil dikombinasikan magot. Abstract

Nagari Sungai Pinang is an area of Pesisir Selatan Regency that has Mangrove Ecotourism potential. This is the strategy of the Provincial Government and the South Coastal Government to make the Nagari Sungai Pinang area into an educational tourism center in the field of coral reef conservation and mangrove cultivation. However the problem is the very limited level of community education, coupled with the stigma of low learning motivation, means that the development of scientific literacy in mangroves in Nagari Sungai Pinang needs attention. The aim of this community service is to create a strategy for creating quality Tour Guides from Gen-Z and to make mangrove ecotourism a destination for tourists visiting Nagari Sungai Pinang. The steps built from this strategy are literacy given to nagari children with the concept of Green Economic Modeling as well as personal communication skills. They are members of the Andespin Youth Group community (Anak nagari Sungai Pinang Village). The number of members of this community is more than 200 people, the majority of whom are young people. The results of this activity make Green Economics an optimization of improving community welfare by utilizing mangrove forest resources, and making a good contribution to the environment. Thefuture output of this research is to produce Mangrove Tour Guides who are skilled and intelligent in promoting their nagari's tourism products, especially mangroves in the Nagari Sungai Pinang area, Pesisir Selatan Regency.
