Abstract

- This research is an empirical study on the Tire Industries in Jakarta, Indonesia. The main objective of this research is to analyze the practical and strategic effects of the implementation of Six Sigma on innovation capabilities, work productivity, and quality to customers as part of the comparative and competitive advantages of companies engaged in tire industries. The population of this research is all employees of tyres industries. Sampling using a questionnaire with a simple random sample technique that is distributed to the entire population. The number of incoming and valid questionnaires was 443 samples. Data processing using the SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. From the results of data analysis, it can be seen that all hypotheses are accepted, indicating that the implementation of the Six Sigma has a positive and significant effect on innovation capabilities, work productivity, and quality. Innovation capabilities and employee work productivity also have a positive and significant effect on quality. Another important point is that innovation capability and work productivity have a positive and significant effect as a mediator on the influence relationship between the Six sigma and service quality. This study proposes a model to improve the quality of tyre industries through increasing and strengthening the application of the Six Sigma concept through innovation capabilities and work productivity as a mediator. This research can pave the way for increasing the readiness of employees and companies to face the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of implementation ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system, ISO 45001: 2018 occupational safety management system on operational performance. The method used in this study is a quantitative method and data processed by structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 3.0 software. Data collection by distributing questionnaires online to 220 managers in automotive industries in Indonesia who have implemented ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Questionnaire forms were distributed online and the sampling method using snowball sampling. The results of this study are the application of ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system has a positive and significant relationship to manufacturing performance, the application of ISO 14001: 2015 environmental management system has a positive and significant relationship to operational performance, the application of work safety management system ISO 45001: 2018 has a relationship positive and significant impact on operational performance in automotive industries.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of Empowerment on Self Efficacy, the influence of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on Self Efficacy, the effect of Empowerment on Employee Performance, the influence of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on Employee Performance, the influence of Self Efficacy on Employee Performance, the role of Self Efficacy as the mediating variable is the influence of Empowerment on Employee Performance and the role of Self Efficacy as a mediating variable for the effect of LMX on Employee Performance. This research was conducted using the Census method with 390 respondents from industrial employees in Tangerang. Data testing techniques in this study include validity test, reliability test, multiple regression analysis, t test, and mediation test to test and prove the hypothesis. Based on data analysis shows that Empowerment has a positive effect on Self Efficacy, Leader Member Exchange (LMX) has a positive effect on Self Efficacy, Empowerment has a positive effect on Employee Performance, Leader Member Exchange (LMX) has a positive effect on Employee Performance, Self Efficacy has a positive effect on Performance Employees, Self Efficacy is able to mediate the influence of empowerment on employee performance. And Self Efficacy is able to mediate the influence of leader member exchange (LMX) on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the effect of authentic leadership style and psychological capital on the innovative work behavior of a manufacturing company in Indonesia. Psychological capital also plays a role as a mediation between the relationship between authentic leadership and innovative work behavior. Data collection was carried out by simple random sampling to the 303 population. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 231 samples. Data processing was using the SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this research are authentic leadership style and psychological capital have a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior. Psychological capital as a mediator for the relationship between authentic leadership style and innovative work behavior. This novel research is proposing a model to enhance innovative work behavior among employees of a manufacturing company in Indonesia through authentic leadership practice and psychological capital. This research can pave the way to improve employee readiness in facing global business competition.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior on the teacher performance of private school teachers in Tangerang. The data collection was done by simple random sampling via electronic to the private school teacher population in Tangerang. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 113 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Besides, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. This new research proposed a model for building the teacher performance among the private school teachers in Tangerang through enhancing job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. This research could pave the way to improve teacher readiness in facing the era of education 4.0.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of work-family conflict and social support (supervisor, peer, and family support) on the job satisfaction of the female employees of two private companies in Indonesia. Data collection was done by simple random sampling of 145 population of female employees. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 139 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that work-family conflict, peer support, and family support have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Meanwhile, supervisor support has not a significant effect on job satisfaction. This new research proposed a model for building job satisfaction among the private company employees in Indonesia through enhancing social support and manage work-family conflict.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to measure the effect of hard skills, soft skills, organizational learning, and innovation capability on the lectures performance of an Islamic University in Indonesia. Data collection was done by simple random sampling to 261 population an Islamic University in Indonesia. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 244 samples. SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software is used for data processing. The findings of the study reveal that hard skills, soft skills, organizational learning, and innovation capability have a direct positive and significant effect on the lecturer's performance. Besides, soft skills have the greatest influence on lecturer performance among other variables. This research proposed a model for building the lecture's performance among the lecturers of an Islamic University in Indonesia through enhancing hard skills, soft skills, organizational learning, and innovation capability. This research could pave the way to improve the lecturer readiness in facing the 4.0 education era.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja merupakan hal yang sangat utama dan penting dalam organisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Pelatihan ISO 45001:2018 Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja pada Industri Manufaktur di Tangerang ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pengetahuan kepada karyawan industri manufaktur di Tangerang. Kegiatan pelatihan ini secara offline atau tatap muka dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Mei 2019 dan diikuti oleh 87 orang karyawan industri manufaktur di Tangerang, sedangkan pemateri berjumlah 1 orang, Materi yang disampaikan mengacu pada judul agenda pelatihan yaitu ISO 45001 versi 2018. Metode pelatihan yang dilaksanakan berupa pemberian materi secara tatap muka oleh pemateri, peserta dapat bertanya secara langsung dan berdiskusi. Pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan dengan sesi tanya jawab sebagai bentuk evaluasinya. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, para peserta dapat memahami persyaratan dan implementasi ISO 45001:2018 Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja di tempat kerja masing-masing di indikasikan dari nilai evaluasi pretest sebelum pelatihan rata – rata sebesar 41% sedangkan setelah pelatihan nilai post test sebesar rata rata 95%.
