Abstract

This paper discussed about records management system in the Procurement Unit of Project Indarung VI of PT Semen Padang. This paper aims to: (1) describe the records management in the Procurement Unit; (2) describe the utilization implementation Procurement Activity and Progress Information in the records management; (3) describe the efforts made to overcome the constraints of the application utilization Procurement Activity and Progress Information in records management. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the management of the archive in the Procurement Unitis still not in accordance with the provisions and rules of good records management. It can be seen from the various obstacles encountered in records management and retrieval of archives as well as the constraints experienced by users in records management using the application Procurement Activity and Progress Information like error and not maximum features available in this application. Archive management in this unit is also more emphasis on the management is electronic compared to manually archive management, management of this kind makes the archive to be neglected. To overcome the problem that occurred in the management of problem-solving efforts should be made to be formulated together.Keywords : Record Management, Procurement Unit

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article are: (1) describe how the strategy of excellent service in the Office of Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, (2) describe any obstacles countered in achieving excellent service in he Office of Libraries, Archives, and Documentation of Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The method use disqualitative approach. Collection of data through observation, interviews, and library research. Observations directly to the Office of Libraries, Archives, and Documentation of Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Based on analyzing the data can be summarized as follows. (1) strategies to realize excellent service in the Office of Libraries, Archives, and Documentation of Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan of identifying primary determination of quality service, manage ekspentasi customers, managing service quality evidence, educating consumers about the services, fostera culture of quality, follow up services, and develop information systems quality of service, (2) the constraints faced in the Office of Libraries, Archives, and Documentation in the Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan realization excellent service strategy that is not the realization of automating quality. Abstract

The purposes of this article are to describe about: the design of database records retention schedule in depreciation archives with the use of Microsoft Access at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang. The method used in this paper is descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) a general description of the archive in the depreciation schedule retenasi archives with the use of Microsoft Access at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang as follows: Invitation Letter archive list, Snail Mail, Mail Important, SK. Rector, SK. Dean, Rector's Report, Report of the Dean, Employee Performance Report, Report of Activities, Academic Handbook, Handbook for Student Activities, Books Graduation, MOU (agreement / MoU), MOA (agreement), SK. Establishment of the Faculty, and SK. Establishment Program stored in the room administration; (2) the design process database retention schedule archives in depreciation archives with the use of Microsoft Access at the Faculty of Economics, University of Padang as follows: run Microsoft Access, create a table in Microsoft Access, queries, forms, reports and swithboard on Microsoft Access as the final display or The main menu database records retention schedule.Keyword: database, electronic archive.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to describe: 1) evaluation of reference services; (2) determine the obstacles encountered in implementing the evaluation of reference services; and (3) determine the efforts to overcome obstacles encountered in the evaluation of reference services at Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Data collected by observation and interviews with librarians and user library in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Data analysis was done descriptive. Based on the results of the research, concluded as follows: (1) evaluation conducted by the reference services of Library and Archives routine yet, so there are still shortcomings in service; (2) there are still obstacles encountered in implementing the evaluation of reference services, so that the service provided is not maximized; and (3) efforts to be made by Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat in overcoming these obstacles. Abstract

This paper aims to describe the preparation of an annotated bibliography series of children's literature reading library collections Department of Language and Literature Indonesia Region Padang State University.The method used is descriptive method. Data collected by observation or observation. Observations were made directly browse the collection of literature reading series at the Library of the Department of English Literature Indonesia and the region. Once obtained, selanjutkan to identify the parts that will be created for the annotated bibliography. The results obtained in the direct observation, the number of collections of literary reading series at the Library of the Department of Language and Literature Indonesia Region Padang State University has 590 readings series, but this paper is only 10% percent are 59 collections of literary reading series.Based on the discussion can be concluded the stage of making annotated bibliography of literature reading series are as follows. First, the determination of children's literature reading series title. Second, the collection of library material by recording the bibliographic data such as the author's name, title of a series of literary readings, Impresum, as well as other information such as the number to call. Third, the selection of library materials be selected on the entire collection of literary reading series by splitting a series of readings alphabetically. Fourth, grouping or classification annotated bibliography of literature reading series are grouped by classification fundamentals that classify library materials based on the content or subject matter. Fifth, the keyword generation. Sixth, penyusanan index. Seventh, typing the manuscript biliografi contain elements such as writing an author's name, title of a series of readings, Impresum and other information required in making an annotated bibliography.Keyword: art, bibliography, reading.

Abstract

In this paper is described about. Library management Situjuah Nagari Nagari Banda In Limo District. This research aims to describe: (1) How to manage Situjuah Banda In Nagari Library District? (2) what are the constraints faced in the management of the library in the district of Banda Situjuah Nagari Nagari Limo? Data were collected through observation and interviews in the Library Situjuh Nagari Nagari Banda In Limo District. Data analysis was performed descriptively. Conclusions are found of writing are as follows: (1) State Library Nagari Situjuah In Banda is not optimal, and the building is not owned by the library are less strategic location have not been able to accommodate hundreds of people, who are members of the public library is Situjuh Banda In. Besides, it has a library of structures and facilities are not adequate. (2) Collections Library Nagari Situjuah Banda has not cater to individual needs in the user library that consists of the main text books, supporting textbooks, reference books, fiction and non-fiction books as well as periodicals, newspapers and tape. However there are a few collections that need to be added. (3) In the processing of library collections in Nagari Situjuah Banda has not been performing all processing activities. (4) In the processing of library collections in Nagari Situjuah Banda has not been performing all processing activities. Abstract

abstractThis paper discusses the application of applications for media transfer activities at Kantor Dina Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Sungai Penuh. The objectives of writing this paper are: (1) to find out how to apply Arterial archive applications, (2) to find out the constraints faced, (3) and find out the efforts made by Kantor Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan in overcoming obstacles . The research method used is descriptive method, where the author describes the facts that occur during research activities. First, in the field of archives, archivists are required to be able to obtain information easily, quickly, precisely and accurately and to maintain and maintain the physical condition of the archive to be safe and not easily damaged. The application of the Arterial archive application can assist in answering the demands given to the archivists. The stages in the application of Arterial archive applications include: the preparation, installation, and operation stages. Second, the obstacles faced in implementing applications such as lack of archivist competence in the field of technology, especially computers, facilities and infrastructure that are less supportive in the application of electronic archive applications such as the unavailability of a scan engine for archival media transfer activities. Third, several efforts were made such as: increasing archivist competence by attending trainings. To fulfill all the equipment needed in the application of the archive application, the loan is first made up to the procurement of equipment.Keyword:  media transfer, archive, arteri.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to describe the implementation process is the acquisition in order to penyelmatan and preservation of archives in the service of the library and Archives of the city of Padang. This paper writing method that is using descriptive method is done with observation, interview and collect data directly from the original sources namely Department of libraries and Archives of the city of Padang. Based on the discussion can be summed up the steps in the implementation of the acquisition in order to rescue and preservation of archives in the service of the library and Archives city of Padang as follows: first stage second stage archive survey assessment to the third classification Archives Archives implementation of four acquisitions in five archives the archives wrapped doing the stage of indexing and archival storage. the second constraint in the rescue and preservation of Archives first discuss about human resources in both the equipment and the cost of three means the third rescue effort in archival and preservation of the archives of the first two archival facilities and infrastructure equipment the third human resources costs.Keyword: Acquisition,  Archives.

Abstract

This article aims to describe: (1) how the processing of library materials in the Library of SMAN 1 Painan South Coastal District, (2) what are the obstacles encountered in the processing of library materials in the Library of SMA N 1 Painan South Coastal District and (3) how problem solving encountered in the processing of library materials in the Library of SMAN 1 Painan South Coastal District. Data were collected through observation and interviews with librarians SMAN 1 Painan South Coastal District. Analyzing data descriptively. By analyzing the data, it was concluded matters as follows. First, the processing of library materials in the library SMAN 1 South Coastal District has not run with the maximum, because not all the implementation of activities such as, inventory of library materials, library materials classification, cataloging library materials, and the completion of the completeness of library materials. Second, the constraints encountered in the processing of library materials, namely: (1) is not maximal performance librarian, (2) lack of funds or the budgets allocated to libraries, (3) facilities and infrastructure are inadequate. Third, efforts were made so that the processing of library materials in the library SMAN 1 Painan South Coastal District goes well, namely: (1) improve the performance of librarians, (2) provide funding / budget for the library, (3) complement and provide facilities and infrastructure adequate. Abstract

The purposes of this study were are to explain about step of shrinkage inactive dynamic archives office regional parlements (DPRD) province West Sumatera and describe what are the obstacles faced in doing of shrinkage inactive dynamic archives office DPRD province West Sumatera. Technique of analyzing data is done by describing the interview, describing the results of direct observation, data has been obtained in accordance with the theory discussed, conclusions, and reporting. The results of this study were as are: (1) process shrinkage inactive dynamic archives at office DPRD has not done will, at affice DPRD doing  shrinkage with inventory; (2) the obstacles faced in doing of shrinkage inactive dynamic archives at office DPRD province West Sumatera are lack of expertis, the absence of records retention schedules, lack of infrastructure and the lack of budget funds are doing of shrinkage at office DPRD Province West Sumatera.
