Access policies and archive service aims to: (1) Make archival material can be accessed by the user, both for official as well as serve the needs of the public by using the archive depot repenstatif but at this point has not been performing well., (2) low human resources, because the officer who manages the archive does not have the educational background of archival science is able to carry out operational tasks in accordance with the demands that it should, so the archivists have not fully participate in serving visitors to find the information needed. Therefore it is advised: (1) the library should dare budgeted for security archive using the archive depot repenstantif unused in the Office of Libraries, Archives and Documentation of Bukittinggi, (2) Office of Libraries, Archives and Documentation Bukittinggi should propose additional staff records of archival science educational background to the area staffing agency (BKD), because workers archival science background knowledge about the intricacies of the parent organization in which he works; archivists must actively serving visitors to find the information needed. This paper discussed the compilation process of annotated bibliography for the books of regional custom arts in Indonesian archipelago available in the library of Art Drama Dance and Music (Sendratasik) Department, Faculty of Languages and Arts, State University of Padang. The compilation of this bibliography aimed to facilitate the library users in searching the information about the books of local arts owned by the library of Art Drama Dance and Music Department. This paper used descriptive method with the technique of data collection through direct observationâ€•observing the physical state of the books and the collection of references available in the library of Sendratasik Department. A number of 39 books titles were used as the object of the research in accordance with the title taken by the author about the collection of archipelago art books. The samples of archipelago art books selected were compiled based on the good bibliography compilation process using American Psychological Association (APA) format comprising several stages. From the results of the discussion, it could be concluded that the compilation stages of annotated bibliography for the collection of books of regional custom arts in Indonesian archipelago were: first, the determination of the title by noticing (a) the availability of the collection, (b) the use of the collection, (c) the well-preserved information. Second, the accumulation of the library materials by noting the author's name, year of publication, title, place of publication and the publisher. Third, the selection of the library materials for matching the title of bibliography and the library materials collected. Fourth, the grouping or classification of the library materials. Fifth, the generating of keyword. Sixth, the arrangement of index. Seventh, the typing of manuscript. Eighth, the checking of the final manuscript. Writing this article aims to describe: (1) problems about school librarian in the SMP N 3 Padang Panjang and; (2) efforts from school librarian in SMP N 3 Padang Panjang overcome the problem. Data were colleted through direct observation, interview with school librarian in the SMP N 3 Padang Panjang and study in library. Analyzing data with descriptively. Based on analyzing the data, we can conclude it â€“ as follows; First, problems from school librarian manage in the SMP N 3 Padang Panjang library were factor from the human being be self were minus the ability from school librarian and then factor from school environment about minus from cooperation between school librarian with school side, haven`t enought fund and haven`t enought outfit or equipment. Second, efforts from school librarian to manage in the SMP N 3 Padang Panjang library were factor from the human being be self were treement from guidance and expand ability from school librarian and then from school environment were build cooperation between school librarian with school side, school side must organize fund and school side must fill outfit or equipment.Keywords : school librarian, guidance, expand ability

This paper focuse to the factors which influence satisfaction of the users in the Library of Kopertis Region X. This study aimed to describe the factors that influence satisfaction to the users Kopertis Region X. Data were collected through observation and interview to the visitors who came to the library of Kopertis Region X. The description of the data was analized by the research. It was concluded as the following. First, the librarians at the library of Kopertis Region X who has done a good job, although sometimes librarians have not been able to fully satisfy users. Second, the collection was not completely available in the Library of Kopertis Region X. Third, facilities and infrastructure in the Library of Kopertis Region X was also not completely available, such as tables and chairs that can be used to study and read.

This paper discusses about creation Directories Surfing Locations in West Sumatera. The purpose of this paper is to describe directories surfing locations in West Sumatra. The method used is: observation, interview and literature study to find out the surf as well as an explanation of what is contained in surfing locations in West Sumatra. Based on data analysis, summarized as follows. First, based on the findings in the field is known that there are 13 surfing locations in West Sumatra. Locations Â in different cities such as Padang, Pariaman, Pesisir Selatan and Mentawai islands, each location has a characteristic of each. Second, the limitations of the study in the manufacture directory surfing locations in West Sumatra that is making the site plan that was the starting point is the City Padang. Third, because the locations are far enough away from the city of Padang that the authors make the plan as possible so that users can read the information the floor plan.Keyword: Directories, Location, Surfing, West Sumatera.

AbstractThe writing of this paper aims to discuss Static Archive Security and Rescue in the Archives and Library Services of Sumatra Province. This study aims to; (1) Describe the security of static archives in the Department of Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province. (2) Describe the static archive rescue at the West Sumatra Province Archives and Library Service. (3) Describe the obstacles to static safety and rescue in the Department of Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province. (4) Describe efforts in static safety and rescue in the Department of Archives and Library of West Sumatra Province. The method used is descriptive method. Data was collected through observation and direct interviews with officers in the Archives and Library Service of West SumatraProvince. Based on the results of the research, Static Archive Safety and Rescue in the Archives and Library Service of West Sumatra Province are as follows: First, physical security and rescue of archives in the Archives and Library Service of West Sumatra Province is carried out lamination process, fumigation regulates moisture/dryness and air temperature room. In order to secure and record static archives in terms of information, it can be done by controlling every person who will access the static archive must go through a predetermined procedure, store static files in a special room that is maintained. The two constraints faced in securing and rescuing the static archive of the Archives and Libraries of West Sumatra Province are the lack of human resources in securing and holding static archives, the lack of adequate infrastructure for securing and rescuing static archives and lack of awareness of Opd and Skpd to report archives static to the Archives and Library Service of West Sumatra Province.The three efforts made to overcome the obstacles faced in securing and saving the static archive of the Archives and Library Service of West Sumatra Province by providing training programs and apprenticeship staff to national archives. Then complete and maintain facilities and infrastructure to secure and record static archives and send letters to OPD and SKPD to submit static files to them to the Archives and Libraries of West Sumatra Province.Keyword:Â static archive of the Archives and Library Service of West Sumatra Province

Writing this article aims to: (1) determine the existing facilities and infrastructure in the library SMPN 1 Batang Anai and (2) the effect of library facilities and infrastructure to the interest of students visit the library at SMPN 1 Batang Anai. The research method is done through a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. Data was collected through observation by direct observation, whereas for the interview addressed to the head of the library, for the writers questionnaire submitted to 90 students SMP N 1 Batang Anai school year 2014/2015 the study sample. Based on analyzing the data we can conclude (1) infrastructure library of SMP N 1 Batang Anai still inadequate. It can be seen from the vast size of the building is not in accordance with the provisions of the National Library in 1998/1999, as well as the lack of equipment needed; (2) the facilities and infrastructure that exist in the library SMPN 1 Batang Anai greatly affect students' interest, it can be seen from most of the respondents (61.11%) stated that the cause of lazy students visit the library because the library facilities and infrastructure that have not adequate, such as less comfortable library room and stifling. This paper discussed about the attitude in serving the library manager disabilities in school library (SLB) Batusangkar City. This study aims to: (1) to describe services in serving the library manager disabilities in school library (SLB) Batusangkar City; (2) to describe the obstacles faced in serving the library manager disabilities in school library (SLB) Batusangkar City; (3) to describe what efforts were made to overcome the obstacles encountered in serving the library manager disabilities in the school library (SLB) Batusangkar City. Data was collected through observation/ interview and literature study. Interviews with library managers and principals School (SLB) Batusangkar City. Data analysis be done in descriptive. Based on analyzing the data, it was concluded the following matters. First, the service manager in the service user library disabilities such as; (1) visually impaired;Â library managers to guide and give direction blind users according to the information he wants, (2) the Deaf; library management serving the deaf to communicate using sign language, manual communication, body language and lip. and, (3) quadriplegic, the library serves quadriplegic to help pick up a book or find the desired information. Second, the difficulties faced in serving the library manager disabilities in school library (SLB) Batusangkar City, namely: (1) the lack of facilities and infrastructure; (2) funds; (3) Human Resources (HR). This article discusses the existence of Youth Services to Improve Adolescent Reading Interest at the Library and Archives of West Sumatra province. This article aims to describe: (1) the existence of juvenile services for improving adolescent reading, (2) problems were found in the increase reading adolescents in juvenile services, and (3) efforts to be made to overcome the obstacles in improving adolescent reading in adolescent services. Data collected through observation, interviews, and literature. Analyzing data descriptively. By analyzing the data, it was concluded the following. First, the presence of juvenile services has not been put to good use by library users, especially for teenagers library users junior high, high school, and Students; Second, problems were found to increase reading in adolescents; Third, efforts should be made to overcome the obstacles in improving adolescent reading.
