Abstract

This research is called the “application of the code of journalistic ethics news at the category of criminal law on the site of online news datariau.com” (an analysis study the contents of the application of chapter 4 and chapter 5 the code of journalistic ethics on a website of datariau.com). The study is based on of a unique the website online datariau.com in which contain da’wah article every day. Were given the freedom looking for press , process and spread the word in accordance with the code of journalistic ethics that applied to keep its credibility. A theory that used in this research was models of communication Laswell. As for the purpose of this research is to know the number of news at the category of criminal law who violates the code of journalistic ethics especially in article 4 and article 5 and spiritual service in preaching that has been performing well on the site of online news datariau.comThe Research conducted acquired through study documentation , the study of literature , and sheets of coding Analysis of data done with the quantitative analysis. Analyzing of using analysis the contents of by test realibility using formulas R.Holsty and strengthened by formula Scott pi. Where the it’s 0.75 and results of the test reability CR - 1 & pi = 1 qualified to do this research. Sampling technique that is used is identification random sampling. A theory that used in this research was communication theory Laswell.The news was taken of the months january 2018 up to march 2018 , sample dealing with this research were 77 news. It means the website online datariau.com have implemented the code of journalistic ethics on news writing criminal law, with the percentage apply the code of journalistic ethics is 87,01 % and the percentage offence is 12,99 %.Keyword: Online News, Code Of Etichs Journalistic, Datariau.com

Abstract

The success of organizing public services is inseparable from the factors of communication and information by the government bureaucracy. One of the regional government bureaucracies in Riau Province that provides public services is the South Pekanbaru Samsat. Adequate communication and information aims to increase knowledge of taxpayers and ease of paying motor vehicle tax. The theory used in this study is the Laswell theory. The purpose of this study was to determine the taxpayer's response to the quality of communication of state civil apparatus, to determine the effect of the quality of communication of state civil apparatus on taxpayer satisfaction, and to analyze the influence of the quality of communication of state civil apparatus on taxpayer satisfaction.This study uses quantitative research methods with correlational research design using Simple Random Sampling and Slovin formulas, so this study obtained 98.99 people rounded up to 100 respondents. Researchers collected data through questionnaires, while for data analysis techniques researchers used correlation test techniques with simple linear regression formulas and statistical hypothesis tests.The results of this study indicate that the level of influence of communication quality on satisfaction of taxpayers in South Pekanbaru Samsat has a moderate effect. This is seen from simple linear regression in this study is Y = 8.911 + 0.757 X. Meanwhile t count 11.425 is greater when compared with t table of 1.984 with a significance level of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. Based on the table "Model Summary" shows that the value of R = 0756 and the coefficient of determination (R square) is equal to 0.571. This figure shows the understanding that the influence of the Quality of Communication of State Civil Apparatus on the Satisfaction of Taxpayers in South Pekanbaru is 57,1%. While the remaining 42,9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect to build a decent life in a world full of competition, so that many students or students are competing to get the best education even to places far away and foreign to themselves. Therefore, it is no longer strange to hear that a student or student has migrated from their home region to a different area where they study. Likewise experienced Papuan students who are studying at Riaudan University must adapt to their new environment.This research uses communication accommodation theory and symbolic interaction theory as a support. In this study, a qualitative descriptive method was used with a data collection technique approach consisting of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Subjects were taken by using purposive technique, namely 4 Papuan students and 2 Minang students. For data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman method. The results of this study indicate that communication accommodation that occurs between Papuan students and Minang students is by adjusting communication using Indonesian and showing natural behavior without changing the form of communication, Papuan students also do not pay attention to distance when communicating but they do pay attention. In communicating, Papuan students do not appear different, and remain with the image of Papuan culture in general. Papuan students also try to adapt their conversations to Minang language and nicknames in Minang language but they are viewed as exaggerated. Papuan students also experience communication barriers in terms of the language their interlocutors use, they have difficulty understanding and their voice volume when speaking is also different, so sometimes they are considered angry when communicating.   Keyword: Acomodation Communication, symbolic interaction,  adik

Abstract

This research is motivated by the proliferation of cases related to the image of the police as the shooting between the members of the police, clashes between police and students or the Commission as well as cases of police being caught using drugs and so forth. This gives rise to a negative impression of the community as well as a bad view of the police. Overcoming these problems, now the police as well as presenting television media impressions Net.86 program that can be watched by the entire community in Indonesia to look at a variety of police activities while on duty. This study aims to analyze how much influence exposure to impressions Net.86 program on television the image of the police in the community perspective Marpoyan Peace District of the city of Pekanbaru.The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Quantitative research is research in the form of data obtained from the respondents that had been collected, processed and analyzed using statistical theory as a means of solving problems, so this method will provide certainty in decision making. Collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study is that people Marpoyan Peace District of the city of Pekanbaru, amounting to 34 908 households. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents were obtained based on the formula slovin while the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Measurement data using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques used in this study is a simple linear regression.The results showed sig. 0,000 obtained by measurement through SPSS version 24.0 is smaller than the probability of 0.05, thus it can be concluded that the independent variable (Exposure to Impressions Net.86) significantly influence the dependent variable (Citra Police) or Ha accepted and H0 is rejected. Net.86 impressions programs have influence proportion of 50.3% against the image of police in the community perspective Marpoyan Peace District of Pekanbaru city, while the remaining 49.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

Communication information about Dangue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a routine activity carried out by the Pekanbaru City Health Service. Counseling was held both in the lecture method at the puskesmas in Bukit Raya District and by using the mobile method. The theory used in this research is Effectiveness theory. The purpose of this study was to find out how much the effectiveness of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) communication by the Pekanbaru City Health Service to the community in Bukit Raya sub-district. This study uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques, namely through distributing questionnaires to the people of Bukit Raya Sub-district who participated in DHF counseling with a sample of 166 respondents determined through Accidental Sampling techniques caused by accidental nature. While the data analysis technique in this study uses desktiptif statistical techniques. The results of this study indicate that the level of Communication Effectiveness of DHF Counseling conducted by the Pekanbaru City Health Office is very effective with a scale of 3.27. The message receiver indicator (receiver) has a scale of 3.70, a scale of 3.48 on the message content indicator (content), a scale of 3.00 on the channel indicator (media), a scale of 3.20 on the indicator indicator, a scale of 3.13 on the indicator source message (source), and scale 3.17 on the indicator of timeliness (timings). Based on the results of the calculation of the effectiveness of DHF counseling communication obtained the results of 3.28 which shows a Very Effective scale. Thus it can be concluded that the Pekanbaru City Health Office has very effective communication in delivering and providing information on dengue counseling to the Bukit Raya District community.

Abstract

Sahabat Hijrah Community is a da'wah community which was founded on September 10, 2016. Youth becomes the main target of the Sahabat Hijrah community. The community managed to gather thousands of young people in each event they organized. In increasing the number of  participants, an effective communication strategy is needed to attract study participants. The purpose of this research was to determine the communicator strategy, message strategy, media selection strategy, audience determination strategy and the effect of the communication strategy carried out by the Sahabat Hijrah community in delivering messages to youth in Pekanbaru city.This research uses qualitative research methods and is supported by Lasswell's theory. Subjects in the research consisted of seven subjects as informants, selected through purposive techniques. Data collection techniques are grouped into three parts, namely: interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques in this research used the interactive data model of Miles and Hiberman. Checking the validity of the data using researcher persistence techniques, extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that in the selection of communicators by the Sahabat Hijrah community, they were selected from the community members who had been fostered and the clerics who were selected according to their credibility with youth. The message strategy they used was to choose a theme that was tailored to the needs of youth at this time. The media they use in the form of online media (Instagram and Facebook) and offline media, in the form of distributing leaflets at CFD events. The target audience of the Sahabat Hijrah community are young Muslims who are in the city of Pekanbaru. While the effects of the Sahabat Hijrah's communication strategy, they succeeded in attracting young people to be on the da'wah path. Keyword : Communication Strategy, Youth, Da’wah, Message

Abstract

Online games are digital games that require an internet network to access them, one of which is Defense of The Ancients 2 or commonly known as Dota 2, published by Steam Valve. Freedom in the communication facilities provided in the Dota 2 online game sometimes has a negative impact if used by irresponsible players, these communication facilities can be misused to say bad things to opponents and friends playing in online games. One example of negative actions that arise from communication facilities in online games is trash talk, namely efforts to brag, provoke, intimidate, or mentally knock opponents through verbal words or non-verbal symbols. Based on the S-R (Stimulus-Response) theory, which is a theory where communication is an action-reaction process. That is, this theory assumes that verbal words, non-verbal cues, certain symbols will stimulate others to respond in certain ways, one of which is aggressiveness, generally associated with violent or aggressive behavior (verbal and physical) such as quarrel, contention, fighting, vandalism and abuse. The purpose of this research is to see whether or not the influence of Trash-talking Behavior in Dota 2 Online Game on Gamers in Versus CyberSport Pekanbaru.               The study used explanation quantitative methods. The data was collected by using questionnaires and documentation. The population of the study was gamers at Versus CyberSport Pekanbaru, amounting to 5,370 people. In determining the size of the sample, slovin formula was applied and resulted in 100 samples. The Simple Random Sampling technique was used to select the respondents. To analyze the association between the variables, the researcher applied simple linear regression analysis by using statistical software, statistic product and service solution (SPSS) Windows version 26.               Based on the simple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of the regression was Y = 15.383 + 0,423X with significance level of 0,00 smaller than  = 0,05. The determination test resulted in 11,9% this means that there is a very weak influence between trash-talking behavior in the online game Dota 2 on the aggressiveness of gamers in versus cybersport Pekanbaru and the remaining 88.1% is influenced by other factors outside of this study.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the obligations that must be implemented by the company in accordance with the contents of article 74 of law number 40 year 2007 about limited liability company (UUPT). The Company is led to exercise and grant the rights of communities and the environment mandated by law to the company. CSR is a logical consequence of the existence of a state-given right to the enterprise to live and thrive in an area of the environment. As a large company, PT Sumatera Sylva Lestari explores nature in an environment, either directly or indirectly in contact with the local ecosystem. That matter declare that PT Sumatera Sylva Lestari shall be responsible for all consequences caused either intentionally or unintentionally to the stakeholders. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the implementation of community development program as a form of social responsibility of PT Sumatera Sylva Lestari in Improving People's Welfare in Rokan Hulu.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Research subjects were determined based on purposive technique.. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman interactive and model. While the examination techniques of data validity include triangulation and reference adequacy.The results of research on the implementation of the community development program as a form of social responsibility PT Sumatera Sylva Lestari in Improving the Welfare of the Society concluded walking pretty well. PT Sumatera Sylva Lestari has done its social responsibility through partnership program between company and society especially local people. The partnership is realized in the Desa Maju Peduli Api (DMPA) program to help improve the long-term welfare of the local community by providing production facilities to the community for 2 years the capital will be returned to the company to be given to other communities.Keyword: Analysis, Community development, Descriptive qualitative methode

Abstract

Brand Ambassador as a source of advertising or information about the brand and product attributes pleasant, reassuring and attract public attention. One product that uses a motor vehicle Brand Ambassador is a Yamaha YZF-R15. Yamaha YZF-R15merupakan brand of motor vehicles of the type of sport fairing. In marketing their products, Yamaha YZF-R15 using the Brand Ambassador in advertising. Advertising itself into one of the social media that are very popular, so has the coverage is extensive. Therefore, use of Brand Ambassador YZF-R15 products in advertising may cause consumer purchasing decisions on the Pekanbaru YR15CR community.The method used is quantitative eksplanatif using random sampling techniques and the total sample of 113 respondents. Researchers collected data by questionnaire. To find out how much influence between the variables X and Y, researchers used a simple linear regression analysis. Processing test data questionnaire was conducted using SPSS program Windows Version 23.Based on the results of investigation of the influence of Valentino Rossi as a brand ambassador in the ad Yamaha R15 on purchasing decisions Yamaha R15 among YR15CR chapter Pekanbaru it can be seen the influence of brand ambassadors Valentino Rossi is known tcount 5.409 greater when compared with t table of 1.981, with a significance level of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. Based on the model table "Sumarry Model" shows that the value of R = 0.457 and coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is equal to 0.209. The figure shows that the influence of variables influence the understanding Valentino Rossi as a brand ambassador in the ad Yamaha R15 Yamaha R15 purchasing decisions among YR15CR Pekanbaru chapter is 20,9%. Abstract

The activity was carried out in Teluk Pambang Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. This activity is due to the local community's lack of awareness of the importance of managing and utilizing mangrove ecosystems that have ecological, social, and economic functions. The purpose of this activity is to provide a comprehensive understanding to the community about the importance of mangrove forest management and utilization to maintain environmental balance in coastal areas, the prospect of economically valuable mangrove ecotourism, providing knowledge of the importance of local wisdom values as a support for the attractiveness of mangrove ecotourism development, and the importance of forming a tourism awareness group as a form of active community contribution in utilizing the potential of sustainable community-based ecotourism. This activity's target is the community living in Teluk Pambang Village, especially the Mangrove Management Group and the Local Government. The implementation method starts with the survey and implementation in the field. This activity involved 12 Riau University students from various disciplines. The results obtained from this activity are the active participation of the community to participate in identifying potentials and ideas for developing Mangrove ecotourism and establishing partnerships with the Village Government and mangrove management groups in the context of community empowerment through the management and utilization of mangrove ecosystems as ecotourism based on local wisdom and creative economy in Teluk Pambang Village.
