Abstract

Pemahaman membaca merupakan keterampilan dasar yang penting bagi siswa sekolah dasar untuk mendukung pembelajaran lintas domain. Namun masih banyak siswa yang kesulitan memahami bahan bacaan yang mengandung dongeng. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas empat di sekolah dasar di Turus dengan menerapkan pendekatan KWL (Know-Want-Learn). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang meliputi dua siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode KWL efektif meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Pendekatan ini melibatkan siswa dan membantu mereka memahami struktur cerita rakyat, meningkatkan pemikiran kritis, dan mengembangkan keterampilan menulis dan berbicara. Siswa juga menunjukkan keterampilan kolaborasi yang baik melalui diskusi kelompok, yang secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan KWL, siswa tidak hanya memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai cerita rakyat, namun juga menghubungkannya dengan nilai-nilai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kesimpulannya, metode KWL terbukti menjadi strategi pembelajaran efektif yang secara komprehensif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dan kemampuan belajar siswa. Metode ini cocok tidak hanya untuk pembelajaran cerita rakyat, tetapi juga untuk materi pembelajaran lainnya di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the narrative writing ability of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Seren through the Mind Mapping method. This method was chosen because it can help students organize ideas visually, thus making the writing process easier, especially in narrative essay writing material. This research uses a classroom action research (PTK) approach with two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data was collected through observation, narrative writing tests, and interviews. The research results show that the Mind Mapping method significantly increases students' ability to write narrative essays. Students find it easier to design story lines, enrich vocabulary, and compose sentences. Thus, this method is effective to be applied as a learning strategy for narrative writing at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas III SD KUB Muhammadiyah Purworejo melalui implementasi metode Mind Mapping. Metode ini dipilih karena dapat membantu siswa mengorganisasi ide secara visual, sehingga mempermudah proses menulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes menulis narasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Mind Mapping secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis narasi. Siswa menjadi lebih mudah dalam merancang alur cerita, memperkaya kosakata, dan menyusun kalimat. Dengan demikian, metode ini efektif untuk diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran menulis narasi di tingkat sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci:Metode, Mind Mapping, PTK

Abstract

This research is a research and development (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this study were grade 1 students of SD Muhammadiyah Purworejo in the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The instruments used are interview sheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires. The results of the research carried out: (1) Produce the Calistung E-Book using the ADDIE model, (2) The feasibility of the product is obtained from the validity of getting a value of 3.44. Then the practicality of the student's response with a value of 3.75. (3) the effectiveness of the product is seen based on the results of the pre-test and post-test with an effectiveness percentage of 71.4%. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the E-Book Calistung with Flora and Fauna Characters developed in this study is categorized as very feasible and effective to be used as a learning medium in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest and learning outcomes using audio-visual media on the listening skills of class III SD Negeri Grantung students. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects in the research were Grade III students at SDN Grantung, totaling 22 students. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation with quantitative analysis techniques. The media used in this research is audio-visual. The stages are 1) The teacher plays an audio-visual video 2) students listen to the story 3) the teacher evaluates. Based on the results of the research that has been done about students' interest in learning increasing, it can be seen based on the results of the application of the method of listening to stories using audio-visual in the pre-cycle to get an average of 72.75%, then in cycle I get an average of 75.775% and cycle II get average 88.25% included in the high criteria. Furthermore, student learning outcomes increased from pre-cycle obtaining an average of 50%, then in the first cycle stage there was an increase with an average of 70.5% entering the medium category but in cycle II experiencing a fairly good increase to 87.5% entering in very good criteria.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve writing skills using standard vocabulary in class III students at SDN Sidowangi through audio-visual media. This study uses the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. This research was carried out at SDN Sidowangi involving 14 students consisting of 8 boys and 6 girls. Based on the results of initial observations on students at Sidowangi Elementary School, especially in class III, there are still many who have not been able to write a sentence using the right vocabulary so it needs to be improved. The results showed that the action was obtained. At the pre-cycle stage, the ability to write information using standard vocabulary in class III obtained an average score of 43.13 and in cycle I obtained an average score of 51.4. Both of these scores indicate that from pre-cycle to cycle I there was an increase of 8.27 points. Furthermore, in cycle II students obtained a class average of 85.33. Thus, from cycle I to cycle II students' writing skills using the standard vocabulary of class III at SDN Sidowangi increased by 33.93. It can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media in writing skill material using standard vocabulary can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Writing ability is an important aspect of learning Indonesian that must be mastered by students in elementary school. Writing is not just about expressing ideas in written form, but also involves the ability to organize, assemble and present thoughts systematically. One type of writing skill that is important to develop in elementary school students is narrative writing. The aim of this research is to improve narrative text writing skills using the gamification method for grade 3 students at SDN 2 Seren. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques in this research include observation, tests and interviews. The research results show that application of the method gamification showed a significant increase in hresult student learning in cycle I meninlevel to 84% in cycle II. The average in cycle I was 66.15, increasing to 80.21 in cycle II. This increase proves bawah onThe use of gamification methods can improve the ability to write narrative texts of grade 3 students at SDN 2 Seren.

Abstract

Implementasi strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi perubahan wujud benda kelas iv sdn mirit kebumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Mirit Kebumen pada materi perubahan wujud benda. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berjalan lancar. Siswa dikelompokkan berdasarkan hasil asesmen diagnostik kognitif, lalu menyelesaikan proyek sesuai diskusi yang telah dilakukan. Hal ini membantu siswa lebih memahami materi. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat dari 66% pada siklus I menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Rata-rata nilai siswa juga meningkat dari 62,30% pada siklus I menjadi 91,30% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran serta hasil membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD Negeri 2 Banyumudal Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini didesain dalam dua siklus. Prosedur dalam setiap siklus mencakup tahap-tahap: perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester I tahun ajaran 2022/ 2023 dalam dua siklus setiap siklus ada 2 pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas I SD Negeri 2 Banyumudal yang berjumlah 10 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran dan kemampuan membaca permulan siswa kelas I SD Negeri 2 Banyumudal. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan data yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Observasi yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan hasil yang baik, hal ini terbukti dari peningkatan presentase pada prasiklus dan tiap siklusya. Pada tahap prasiklus hasil sikap siswa, presentasenya sebesar 54,64%, siklus I naik menjadi 73,43%, dan siklus II naik lagi menjadi 84,06%. Hal tersebut dapat diartikan, bahwa melalui observasi, sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran kelas I sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu 80% dan dikategorikan baik. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang telah dilakukan juga meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa, dari presentase prasiklus 10%  siswa tuntas KKM, pada siklus 1 naik dengan presentase 50%. Siklus II naik dengan presentase 90 %. Berdasarkan ketercapaian kompetensi yang dihasilkan dengan persentase 90% siswa berkategori tuntas, melebihi indikator keberhasilan dengan pencapaian kompetensi kelas mencapai lebih dari 75%.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the implementation of Cub Scout extracurricular activities in shaping the disciplinary character of fourth- and fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Watukelir. This research highlights the significance of early character education and the strategic role of scouting in cultivating discipline, responsibility, and independence among young learners. Methodology/approach: A qualitative descriptive approach was used. Data were collected through interviews with school personnel, observations of scouting activities, and documentation analysis. The data were analyzed using the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing to ensure comprehensive and credible results. Results/findings: The findings indicate that the Cub Scout program is well-structured and is routinely implemented. Activities included regular training sessions on discipline, marching, proper use of Scout uniforms, and various outdoor exercises. These initiatives have significantly influenced students' disciplinary behavior, as reflected in improved punctuality, adherence to school rules, and greater engagement in class activities. Key supporting factors include strong commitment from Scout leaders, institutional support from schools, and enthusiastic student participation. Conclusions: The study concludes that Cub Scout extracurricular activities play a vital role in developing students’ disciplinary character when conducted consistently and aligned with their developmental needs. Limitations: The research was limited to a single school and a brief observation period, restricting insights into the long-term impacts. Contribution: This study reinforces the educational value of Scouting as a practical tool for fostering discipline among elementary school students.
