Abstract

Desa Pusuk Lestari merupakan desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Lokasinya yang terletak di kawasan hutan lindung atau kawasan taman nasional, berupa sungai, hutan, dan air terjun berpotensi untuk atraksi cycling maupun tracking. Selain itu juga potensi wisata kuliner seperti jajanan bernama bantal dan bebiting. Berdasarkan observasi belum adanya pemetaan potensi daya tarik wisata yang potensial menjadi produk wisata yang mencirikan keunikan Desa Pusuk Lestari. Potensi alam yang berada disisi hutan lindung masih belum ditangani dengan baik seperti belum adanya rambu jalan menuju sungai, hutan, dan air terjun berpotensi untuk atraksi cycling. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah membantu masyarakat terutama pengelola pariwisata untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan dengan program sapta pesona, menata jalur menuju hutan lindung termasuk pembuatan beberapa papan penunjuk arah. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini melakukan sosialisasi peranan pokdarwis dalam pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan kepada pengelola pariwisata, membuat papan petunjuk arah jalur menuju daya tarik wisata Hutan Lindung Desa Pusuk Lestari, serta bekerja sama untuk mengumpulkan data, menganalisis, menyusun draf, dan menetapkan potensi DTW di Pusuk Lestari. Hasil dari pengabdian adalah meningkatnya pemahaman stakeholder akan peranan Pokdarwis dalam pengembangan pariwisata dan tersedianya hasil pemetaan potensi daya tarik wisata agar bisa disusun produk wisata unggulan Desa Pusuk Lestari. Kata Kunci: Daya tarik wisata, wisata alam, hutan lindung, wisata kuliner.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of excellent service by butler on guest satisfaction at Tanadewa Villas & Spa. This research used a quantitative method. Data were collected by questionnaire were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The collecting of data was an observation, distributed the questionnaire, and interviewing the assistant front office manager. The population in this research was the number of guests who stayed at Tanadewa Villas & Spa for six months from October 2020 to April 2021. The total of samples of this research was 30 respondents. The results of this research 30 respondents stated excellent service by butler has a significant effect and has a positive direction towards guest satisfaction. The Pearson Correlation test results between the excellent service and guest satisfaction variable (Y), which are 0.662, show that the correlation between excellent service and guest satisfaction is high. Determination Coefficient Analysis shows that excellent service has 43.9% in explaining the variance of guest satisfaction, while the remaining 56.1% is from other factors not in this research. All the indicators have shown numbers above four of the Likert Scale. It means excellent service is still needed to optimize to make guest satisfaction such as teaching English of serving guests, providing directions on how to use the facilities in the villa, for example operating coffee machine or EDC machine, and carrying out guidance also socialization periodically focuses on excellent service procedures to butler employees.

Abstract

One of the tourist destinations that needs to be developed is the Isyo Hill's Bird Watching ecotourism in the Nimbokrang District, Jayapura Regency, Papua Province.  However, the rapid increasing number of tourism activities in Hill's Bird Watching has led to significant biodiversity loss and environmental degradation. This is largely due to the absence of structured development strategies and unsustainable tourism practices. Addressing these challenges is crucial to preserving the unique ecosystem of Isyo Hill and ensuring long-term benefits for local communities. This study aims to evaluate current ecotourism practices and propose sustainable development strategies tailored to Isyo Hill’s context, using an ecotourism development model based on Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC). Data collection methods were carried out through interviews, observation, documentation studies and focus group discussions (FGD). Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that Isyo Hill's Bird Watching was at the Development stage. The development efforts are needed so that tourist destinations do not occur Decline phase. The researcher combines the principles of ecotourism with the Pentahelix concept, involving five elements, including government stakeholders, investors, academics, media, and the community, into a new concept as the basis for development to form an overview of the Isyo Hill's Bird Watching ecotourism development model in a sustainable manner. Researchers hope that with the establishment of this ecotourism development model it can be implemented in all tourist destinations in Jayapura Regency, Papua Province in an effort to develop a sustainable ecotourism.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the marketing mix consisting of product strategy are, price strategy promotion strategy, place strategy, process strategy, person strategy, and physical evidence strategy for increasing the room sales at a 4-star hotel in Kuta, Badung. To answer the existing problems needed supporting statistics obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the result of the implementation of marketing mix strategies, it was obtained significantly an increase in the room sales. The marketing mix factors are; product strategy, by the product strategy hotel management able to increase the room sales in accordance with occurring the guest needed; Price strategy, it’s about strategy to establish the right prices in market segmentation; Promotion strategy, this strategy is consolidating the technical of marketing through promotion by social media, electronics promotions, and any publics publishing; Place strategy consist with classify the distribution channels. People’s strategy, this strategy advise some strategies for developing training that can improve work performance; physical evidence strategy, advise the strategy of revamping the hotel facilities and infrastructure of the hotel.
