Abstract

The innovative behavior of employee is one of the important triggers in the production of company innovation. Employee engagement is an important factor in encouraging employees to behave innovatively. This study focuses on the relationship between employee engagement and innovative behavior of Bank BRI Syariah employees in the provinces of DKI Jakarta, West Java and Banten. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between employee engagement and innovative behavior. This study used a quantitative research approach with data collection techniques through online questionnaire. The sample in this study were 98 permanent employees of Bank BRI Syariah from various areas of responsibility within the provinces of DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Banten. This study used several data analysis techniques, namely the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, descriptive analysis, and the coefficient of correlation test between variables. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between employee engagement and innovative behavior. This study recommends that companies pay more attention to the level of their employee engagement as it has a positive relationship with innovative behavior of the employees, which in turn can increase the company’s innovation potential.

Abstract

In December 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic had lasted for 10 months in Indonesia and there was no way out of the pandemic. A glimmer of hope came from President Joko Widodo in August 2020 when he said that the vaccination program would start in January 2021 and the vaccine had arrived in Indonesia in December 2020. Various responses have emerged in the community regarding the vaccination policy, especially on social media. Public trust in a policy is one of the factors driving a successful policy. This article shows how the public's sentiment is towards the covid-19 vaccination policy by conducting text mining on netizen comments on YouTube social media, analyzes the sentiment from citizens, and analyzes the topics discussed about the covid-19 vaccination policy. The results showed that the majority of netizens had negative sentiments about the covid-19 vaccination policy with concerns, among others, about vaccine safety issues and the potential for corruption from the policy. To increase public confidence in the covid-19 vaccination policy, the government must answer them. Concerns about vaccine safety can be overcome by giving an example of a high government official of being willing to be vaccinated beforehand and live broadcast as was done by the elected president and vice president of the United States Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Meanwhile, concerns over the potential for corruption can be resolved by taking more transparent, accountable and responsive actions in implementing the vaccination policy.

Abstract

The millennial generation has the most significant number in the Indonesian labor market, the first technophile generation, and is highly productive. However, the millennial generation tends to focus on themselves and lacks commitment. Closely related to individual career development, career commitment is one of the main challenges in managing Human Resources (HR), especially in Bank BRI, which focuses on the millennial generation. Considering there is still no related research, especially in the banking sector in Indonesia, this study aims to analyze the effect of psychological capital on the career commitment of millennial employees through subjective well-being as mediation at the Bank BRI Headquarters. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory type by distributing questionnaires to 150 millennial employees at the Bank BRI Headquarters. The results showed an influence of psychological capital on the career commitment of millennial employees through subjective well-being as mediation at the Bank BRI Headquarters. This study shows that millennial employees at Bank BRI tend to respond positively to matters related to their work and subjectively feel their well-being. Therefore, all of the company's support helped to increase the millennials employees' psychological capital and subjective well-being, which led to their high career commitment. Generasi milenial merupakan generasi yang mendominasi pasar kerja di Indonesia saat ini dan generasi pertama yang cakap berteknologi serta sangat produktif. Namun, generasi milenial cenderung berfokus pada dirinya sendiri dan kurang memiliki komitmen. Terkait erat dengan pengembangan karir individu, career commitment menjadi salah satu tantangan utama pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), khususnya pada Bank BRI yang sedang berfokus pada generasi milenial. Mempertimbangkan belum adanya riset terkait, khususnya pada sektor perbankan di Indonesia, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh psychological capital terhadap career commitment karyawan milenial melalui subjective well-being sebagai mediasi di Kantor Pusat Bank BRI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eksplanatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 150 karyawan milenial di Kantor Pusat Bank BRI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh psychological capital terhadap career commitment karyawan milenial melalui subjective well-being sebagai mediasi di kantor pusat Bank BRI. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karyawan milenial di Bank BRI cenderung merespons secara positif hal-hal terkait pekerjaannya dan secara subjektif merasakan kesejahteraan. Oleh karena itu, dukungan peningkatan psychological capital dan subjective well-being perusahaan mendorong terciptanya career commitment pada karyawan milenial.

Abstract

In conditions full of uncertainty, the organization must have the right efforts and strategies to defend itself, by keeping up with the times that are always happening. Indonesian National Police (Polri) as one of the organizations that has an important role in carrying out an orderly and orderly life. The Polri must be able to follow and adapt to technological developments and of course prepare strategies to deal with all uncertainties that continue to occur, especially in the field of security and public order, as well as services to Public. The challenges and tasks for the Polri are becoming increasingly difficult because the community is increasingly critical, and capable and always abreast of developments in every activity carried out by the Polri. In the last few months there have been several cases that have gone viral on social media, especially cases related to law violations committed by members of the Indonesian National Police. These cases which were caused by mistakes made by the Polri members became interesting material and were continuously discussed by the public. This is a big challenge for the Polri, especially the Professional and Security Division of the Indonesian National Police, in order to reduce and prevent violations committed by members of the Polri, with the aim of creating a precise Polri. The results of this study suggest that the method that can be used by the Professional and Security Division of the Indonesian National Police is to use Scenario Based Strategic Planning. In addition to using the SBSP, the process of recruiting Polri members must also be an important concern, so that the newly admitted members have good skills and morality so that opportunities to commit violations of the law are minimized.

Abstract

Training is essentially a learning process. Maqashid sharia as the foundation of sharia banking has the first goal of educating or conducting research for individuals. Industry competitiveness will not be able to increase without employees who are reliable and competent in their fields. The industry invests heavily in the training and development of its employees. It is time for the organization or BUS to change their perspective on aspects of employees in the organization or BUS, if they want BUS or their organization to be superior and bigger. This study aims to analyze the cost-effectiveness of BUS training in Indonesia in the period 2020 to 2022. The method used is descriptive analysis with a comparative model and quadrant analysis between sampling on the performance of the training cost-effectiveness ratio. The results of the study used quadrant analysis, namely BUS in quadrant 1: PT BPD Nusa Tenggara Barat Syariah (NTBS), PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI), PT. Bank Aceh Syariah (BACS) and PT. Bank Victoria Syariah (BVIS). Quadrant 2 namely: PT. Bank Jabar Banten Syariah (BJBS), PT. BCA Syariah (BCAS) and PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk (BSI). Quadrant 3 is nil. Finally in quadrant 4 there are: PT. Bank Mega Syariah (BMS), PT. Bank Panin Dubai Syariah, Tbk (BPDS), PT. Sharia National Pension Savings Bank, Tbk (BTPS), PT. Bukopin Sharia Bank (BSB) and PT. Bank Aladin Syariah, Tbk (BAL). Categorization using quadrant analysis indicates that the BUS industry in Indonesia is mostly not effective in managing and realizing HR training costs. Abstract

Kepuasan karir merupakan fase dimana kebutuhan pegawai melalui karir jangka panjang sesuai dengan hasil aktual yang dialami selama bekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis perkembangan penelitian career satisfaction pada anggota kepolisian dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun terakhir yang telah dilakukan (2) menganalisis sumbangan teoritis dan empiris yang diberikan oleh penelitian career satisfaction pada anggota kepolisian. (3) merekomendasi area untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan penelusuran melalui database google scholar dari Publish or Perish /PoP. Pencarian tersebut menghasilkan 200 artikel jurnal yang berkaitan dengan topik yang akan dibahas. Tahap kedua adalah memverifikasi artikel yang dikumpulkan. Pada saat verifikasi, dipilih 124 artikel dan dianggap sesuai dengan topik penelitian, kemudian dari jumlah tersebut dipersempit lagi dan tersisa 23 artikel yang benar-benar relevan dengan topik yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Tema-tema yang dominan dibahas oleh penelitian terdahulu berkaitan dengan tema (1) career satisfaction, (2) job satisfaction, (3) law enforcement agency (4) trooper retention. Sumbangan teoritis yang diberikan oleh penelitian career satisfaction pada anggota kepolisian adalah pengembangan berbagai anteseden dan consequent dari career satisfaction. Sedangkan sumbangan empirisnya adalah bahwa penilitian career satisfaction telah dilakukan dalam berbagai metode baik kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Area rekomendasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut adalah kebutuhan untuk mempelajari kepuasan karir jangka panjang petugas polisi dari rekrutmen hingga pensiun karena kepuasan karir akan memiliki dampak strategis pada kinerja organisasi. Studi selanjutnya juga dapat menganalisis perbedaan kepuasan karir untuk petugas polisi di tingkat pangkat yang berbeda dan aspek demografis yang berbeda.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of product quality and administrative service innovation on customer satisfaction in the culinary sector of Jakarta's Old Town. Employing a quantitative methodology, the study uses a questionnaire to gather data from a diverse group of customers in the area. The demographic analysis of respondents highlights a predominance of female participants, largely falling within the 21-35 years age group, and primarily students.  The study demonstrates that both product quality and administrative service innovation significantly contribute to customer satisfaction, both individually and collectively. These findings suggest that improving product quality and cultivating innovative administrative services can effectively enhance customer satisfaction in the culinary sector. Moreover, the research concludes that a substantial proportion of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by these two factors, with the remainder attributed to other variables not examined in this study. These insights are envisaged to guide culinary industry players in Jakarta's Old Town in devising more effective marketing strategies. The research also underscores the need for further studies to explore other potential factors influencing customer satisfaction in the culinary sector.

Abstract

PT. BKI does not only rely on classification services but also originates from its commercial business which covers a wide variety of sectors and can grow rapidly. The phenomenon that occurs where the commercial segment is still under the classification segment even though it has many service groups is the result because PT. BKI has so far only focused on the classification service business, where the non-classification (com-mercial) service business has not been touched on in depth in its strategic plan. This research is a quantita-tive descriptive study using a qualitative approach, namely a study that describes the condition of the object under study in the form of direct observation, conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and surveys us-ing questionnaires. The data analysis method used in this study is an analysis using the IFE matrix, EFE matrix and SWOT matrix to find out the next alternative strategy. This position is achieved due to the pres-ence of great non-classification power. The following is a business strategy formed from internal and exter-nal factors: 1) Development of Human Resources through research and development activities; 2) Always make Cooperation MoUs with external partners in several cities; 3) Optimizing uniqueness in order to be able to compete with foreign companies; 4) Improving Marketing using new technological approaches; 5) Business expansion through Company Holding; 6) Synergy with subsidiaries and other SOEs in carrying out business strategies; 7) At a minimum apply the use of the same technology and management system as out-side companies.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review research related to collaborative governance. This study also aims to discuss the scientific contributions of previous research related to the dimensions, antecedents and consequences of collaborative governance. Furthermore, this study conducted a search of the Scopus database related to collaborative governance published from 2009 to 2023Through the screening process, we found 45 relevant articles that could be sampled from a total of 798 articles found during the initial search. The results showed that collaborative governance is a collaborative concept that is important for organizations in achieving organizational goals, these findings also show the dimensions, antecedents and consequences of collaborative governance.

Abstract

As the times evolve, technology and information become more modern in the digital era. Along with that, the demands and expectations of the community for the performance of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in providing protection, supervision, and services will increase. The innovation of services by adopting information technology has also been carried out by Polri, with one of the efforts being the enhancement of electronic-based services. Polri has developed an electronic ticketing system known as Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE). The ETLE program digitizes the ticketing process through the collaboration of technologies such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) combined with automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology. This enables the capturing of traffic violations and the identification of the offenders through their vehicle license plates. It is hoped that by implementing this electronic system, the entire ticketing process will become more efficient and free from illegal fees collected by law enforcement officers. Starting from March 23, 2021, the Semarang City Police Department (Polrestabes Semarang) has implemented the ETLE program in Semarang City to electronically enforce traffic violations. This is done to improve driving discipline and traffic order within the community, aiming to prevent traffic law violations and accidents. However, in its implementation, the ETLE program in Semarang City has not yet maximally influenced the public in adhering to traffic regulations. This is due to various challenges that have occurred in the field, necessitating the need for improvement or evaluation of the ETLE program to make its implementation more effective.
