Abstract

This study examines the impact of knowledge sharing and competency on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with organizational commitment as a potential mediating variable, within the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of Central Java Province. Recognizing the challenges of suboptimal OCB and low organizational commitment among employees, this research seeks to identify key drivers to enhance voluntary performance beyond formal job requirements. Using purposive sampling, 88 employees with a minimum Diploma-III education and three years of experience were selected for analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results reveal that knowledge sharing positively and significantly influences organizational commitment but does not directly affect OCB. Conversely, competency positively and significantly impacts OCB but does not influence organizational commitment. Furthermore, organizational commitment does not mediate the relationship between knowledge sharing, competency, and OCB. These findings offer practical insights for public sector organizations seeking to foster OCB through strategic focus on employee competency development and collaborative knowledge-sharing practices. Future research is encouraged to explore additional mediators and contextual factors influencing OCB in public institutions. Abstract

This research investigates the effect of compensation and career development on employee performance, mediated by job satisfaction, at the Demak Regency Health Office. The study found that compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, meaning that higher compensation increases employees' job satisfaction. Similarly, career development positively affects job satisfaction, indicating that better career development opportunities enhance job satisfaction. Furthermore, compensation positively and significantly impacts employee performance, with employees who receive adequate compensation showing better performance. Career development also contributes positively to employee performance by providing opportunities for skill enhancement and career advancement. Job satisfaction was found to have a significant positive impact on performance, demonstrating that satisfied employees are more motivated to deliver high-quality work. Additionally, job satisfaction was shown to mediate the effects of both compensation and career development on performance. This suggests that while compensation and career development directly impact performance, job satisfaction plays a crucial intermediary role in enhancing performance outcomes. These findings emphasize the importance of improving job satisfaction through adequate compensation and career development opportunities to optimize employee performance in the health sector.

Abstract

Based on the research conducted at RS Harapan Magelang, this study investigates the impacts of workload and work stress on job satisfaction and turnover intention. The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing data gathered through questionnaires administered to nurses and midwives. The findings show that workload and work stress do not significantly affect job satisfaction, with statistical results indicating no substantial relationships. Additionally, the study reveals that work stress positively and significantly impacts turnover intention, suggesting that higher stress levels lead to a stronger desire to leave the job. However, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between workload or stress and turnover intention. This highlights the importance of addressing stress management in the workplace to reduce turnover and improve employee retention. The results provide valuable insights for organizational strategies aiming to enhance employee well-being and decrease turnover rates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and motivation on employee performance, while also examining the moderating role of servant leadership. Competence and motivation are considered key drivers of improved performance; however, their effectiveness may vary depending on the leader-ship style adopted within the organization. This research employs a quantitative method using a survey approach targeting employees at BBPVP Semarang. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The findings reveal that competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, whereas motivation does not show a direct effect. Furthermore, servant leadership was found to weaken the relationship between competence and per-formance but strengthen the link between motivation and performance. This suggests that the more servant leadership is applied, the stronger the influence of motivation on employee performance. These findings offer practical implications for organizations to focus on competence development, enhancing employee motivation, and adopting a service-oriented leadership style to foster optimal performance.
