Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of teaching materials based on local wisdom to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan on Theme 3 "Care for Living Beings". The sample in this study was the class IV students in SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan totaling 22 people. The study design used the one group pretest posttest design. Data in this study were analyzed descriptively. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest, activity observation sheet and questionnaire. The results showed that the learning activities of students were good criteria. The highest aspect of activity was to observe the teacher's explanation and the lowest was to maintain opinions. Teaching materials based on local wisdom are effective in improving student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes of students have an N-gain 0.72 which has high criteria. The results of the questionnaire responses of students towards local wisdom-based teaching materials have very good criteria.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik di SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan pada Tema 3 “Peduli terhadap Makhluk Hidup”. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan berjumlah 22 orang. Desain penelitian menggunakan one grup pretest posttest. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pretes dan postes, lembar observasi aktivitas dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik berkriteria baik. Aspek aktivitas yang paling tinggi adalah memperhatikan penjelasan guru dan paling rendah adalah mempertahankan pendapat. Bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil belajar peserta didik memiliki nilai N-gain 0,72 yang berkriteria tinggi. Hasil angket tanggapan peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal berkriteria sangat baik.Kata kunci : aktivitas, bahan ajar, hasil belajar, kearifan lokal

Abstract

The aim of this study were to determine the quality and criteria of the subject of  School Exam Elementary. This research was qualitative research using documentation study. The subject of this study was the instrument of science school exam Elementary at School Year 2016/2017. The research instrument used assessment sheets and assessment rubrics. Data collection through documentation study by analyzing School Examination and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Research data was analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed that most of the school exam questions (75%) were LOTS type while less than half (25%) were HOTS types. Characteristics of School Examination items type of stimulus was less than half of images, while a small portion were tables, examples, and fragments of cases. It was found that (97.5%) items were in accordance with indicators of achievement of competence.Penelitian bertujuan menentukan kualitas dan kriteria butir soal US IPA SD Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan studi dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah instrumen soal US IPA SD Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar penilaian dan rubrik penilaian. Pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi dengan menganalisis soal Ujian Sekolah dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan soal ujian sekolah sebagian besar (75%) bertipe LOTS sedangkan kurang dari setengah (25%) bertipe HOTS. Karakteristik butir soal Ujian Sekolah pada jenis stimulus kurang dari setengahnya berupa gambar, sedangkan sebagian kecil berupa tabel, contoh, dan penggalan kasus. Ditemukan bahwa hampir semua (97,5%) butir soal sesuai dengan indikator pencapaian kompetensi.Kata kunci: HOTS, LOTS, kesesuaian, stimulus

Abstract

The results of interviews and observation at X grades of SMA Negeri 2 Metro, showed that the student’s learning activities and material mastery is low. This study aimed to determine the effect of GI models in increase student’s learning activities and material mastery. The design is equivalent control group. The sample were class X5 and X7 which selected by purposive sampling. The data in quantitative and qualitative form. Quantitative data obtained from the average of pretest, posttest and N-gain were analyzed using t-test or U test. Qualitative data in descriptions of students' learning activities form. The results showed that the GI models can improve student material mastery with average score of pretest (39.33), posttest (78.08), and gain (0,63). Learning activity also increased by an average of 53.85% with enough criteria. Thus, GI models significantly affect student’s learning activity and mastery of biodiversity subject matter. Hasil wawancara dengan guru biologi dan observasi di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Metro, diketahui bahwa aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi siswa masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model GI terhadap aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi siswa. Desain penelitian adalah kelompok kontrol ekivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X5 dan X7 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretest, postest dan gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t atau uji U.  Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model GI dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi siswa dengan rata-rata nilai pretest (39,33); postest (78,08); dan gain (0,63). Aktivitas belajar juga mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata berkriteria cukup yaitu 53,85%. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan model GI berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Kata kunci :  aktivitas belajar siswa, keanekaragaman hayati, model GI, penguasaan materi siswa.

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the influence of using brochure learning material in improving student critical thinking skill and student activity. The research design was pretest-posttest non equivalent group. Samples were VII A and VII C, chosen by purposive sampling. The research data were quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data was the N-gain data analyzed by t-test and U-test. The qualitative data was the observation sheet of learning activity and student responses questionnaire, were analyzed descriptively. The result showed that brochure learning material was improve student critical thinking skill with N-gain value average was 71.54. Learning activities student also improved with each percentage were express the idea 78.65, teamwork/communication with member of group 81.77, present the discussion result 79.69, and ask question 78.65. Most student gived positive respond to the using of brochure learning material. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar brosur terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Desain penelitian pretes-postes kelompok  non-ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A dan VII C, dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari data N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji U. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan bahan ajar brosur dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain 71,54. Aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat; mengemukakan ide (78,65%), bekerjasama/berkomunikasi dengan anggota kelompok (81,77%), mempresentasikan hasil diskusi meningkat (79,69%), dan mengajukan pertanyaan (78,65%). Sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan bahan ajar brosur. Kata kunci:  aktivitas belajar, bahan ajar brosur, keterampilan berpikir kritis

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of PBL model on creative thinking skill in Junior High School 2 Jati Agung on the influence of human population density to environment subject matter. The design of this research was quasi experiment with non equivalent pretest-postest. The samples were VII A and VII B that were chosen by Purposive Sampling. The quantitative data were obtained from the average score of the test analyzed by t-test and U-test. The qualitative data were the students activity data that were obtained from the observation sheet and the students questionnaire responses which were analyzed descriptively. It could be seen from the average of N-gain (52,60) of experiment class was higher and different significantly than that control class (38,45). The results showed that the use of problem based learning could increased studentss creative thinking skill on the influence of human population density to environment subject matter.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP Negeri 2 Jati Agung materi pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-postest non equivalen. Sampel penelitian kelas VII A dan kelas VII B dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitain berupa data kuantitatif diperoleh dari tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dianalisis dengan uji-t dan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar diperoleh dari observasi dan tanggapan siswa dari angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi sebesar 52,60 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 38,45. Dengan demikian PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada materi pengaruh kepadatan populasi manusia terhadap lingkungan.Kata kunci : aktivitas, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, PBL

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectivity of local wisdom bassed-teaching materials in improving Padang Rindu Elementary School students concepts mastery. The research used one group pretest postest design. The samples was grade IV students. The research subject matter was care for living things. The research data were obtained from pretest-postest, learning activities, and questionnaires. Pretest-postest analyzed by n-Gain calculation, learning activities and questionnaires were analyzed by percentage descriptive criteria.The results showed that students concept mastery (n-Gain) was medium criteria, students learning activities was good criteria, and questionnaires was high criteria. Based on this result, local wisdom bassed-teaching materials was effective in improving Padang Rindu Elementary School students concept mastery.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa SDN Padang Rindu. Desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest postest. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IV. Materi dalam penelitian adalah peduli terhadap makhluk hidup. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui pretes-postes, aktivitas belajar dan angket. Analisis pretes-postes menggunakan perhitungan n-Gain. Analisis aktivitas belajar dan angket menggunakan kriteria deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan konsep siswa (n-Gain) dengan kriteria sedang, aktivitas belajar siswa berkriteria baik, serta tanggapan siswa terhadap bahan ajar memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa SDN Padang Rindu.Kata kunci: kearifan lokal, pendekatan scientific, penguasaan konsep

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the inquiry model to the activity and students learning outcomes. This study was experimentwith pretest-posttest design not equivalent group. Samples were students from VIIIC and VIIID at SMPN 1 Jatiagung South Lampung that were selected by cluster random sampling. The quantitative data were obtained from the average test scores that were analyzed using U-test. The qualitative data wereactivity and students responses that were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the inquiry model influenced students learning outcomes on experiment class that was higher than the control class. In addition, the inquiry model also significantly affected the activity of the average percentage of the experiment that was 78.26 and control was 73.96. Most of the students respond positively to the learning model used. Thus, inquiry learning model influenced the increasing of activity and students learning outcomes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model inkuiri terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIICdan VIIID di SMP Negeri 1 Jatiagung Lampung Selatan yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-U.Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif.Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang menunjukan bahwa nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Selainitu, model inkuiri juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap aktivitas dengan rata-rata persentase eksperimen = 78,26; kontrol = 73,96. Sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model pembelajaran yang digunakan. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran inkuiri berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas, hasil belajar, model pembelajaran inkuiri

Abstract

Based on observations and interviews with tenth grade biology teacher at SMA Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung, known that the average student learning outcomes was low. Therefore, researcher interested in studying the application of Think Pair Share learning model as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes. Samples were X1 and X2 graders selected by random sampling. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest and posttest were analyzed statistically using U test and N- gain using t-test. Qualitative data analyzed from the learn activities of student descriptively. The results showed that the use of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share improving student learning outcomes significantly with an average N-gain was rerata (0.6). This was supported by increased learning activities of student put forward the idea was moderate (74.5%), cooperates with friends was high (7%), presentations of the results discussions was moderate (75.59%).Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru Biologi kelas X SMA Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung, diketahui rata-rata hasil belajar siswa rendah. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti tentang penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X2 yang dipilih secara random sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-U dan N-gain menggunakan uji t. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dengan rata-rata N-gain berkriteria sedang (0.6). Hal itu didukung dengan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa mengemukakan pendapat / ide berkriteria cukup (64.28%), bekerjasaama dengan teman berkriteria baik  (72.02%), mempresentasikan hasil diskusi berkriteria baik (75.59%).Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, model Think Pair Share (TPS)

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the implementation of curriculum 2013 on science learning in fifth grade in SDN 1 Pengajaran Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015 based on standard of process, scientific approach, and integrated thematic. Research samples were teachers who teach in fifth grade selected by purposive sampling. The type of data was qualitative data which is description of learning implementation in classroom by teacher. The results showed that the implementation of curriculum 2013 at the fifth grade learning activities have suitability to standard process with average score is 76.5% and categorized as "high", the average score of suitability to scientific approach is 83.35% and categorized as "high" and the average score of suitability to integrated thematic is 83.35% and categorized as "high". Thus the results of the research showed that implementation of science learning based on curriculum 2013 that implemented by teachers in SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung has high criteria.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V di SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sesuai dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik, dan tematik integratif. Sampel penelitian adalah guru kelas yang mengajar di kelas V yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif berupa deskripsi pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru. Hasil penelitian menujukkan implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada kegiatan pembelajaran kelas V memiliki kesesuaian standar proses dengan presentase skor rata-rata 76,5% berkriteria tinggi, kesesuaian pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase skor rata-rata 83,35% berkriteria tinggi dan kesesuaian pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan persentase skor rata-rata 83,35% berkriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian menujukkan implementasi pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 yang dilaksanakan oleh guru-guru kelas V pada SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung memiliki kriteria tinggi.Kata kunci : kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, pendekatan saintifik, standar proses, tematik terpadu

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of STAD model towards learning achievement and student’s cooperative activity. The design of this research was pretest-posttest with non-equivalent. The subject of this research were students in the class VIIIB and VIIID, chosen by using purposive sampling. This research used quantitatif and qualitatif data. The quantitative data was obtained from cognitive achievement and analyzed statistic by U-test. The qualitative data was the description of student’s cooperative activities. The result showed that STAD model improves student’s achievement in experiment class by average gained about 0.58. The average gain of achievement in cognitive indicator C1 (0.81) and C2 (0.44). The activity of student’s cooperative in all observed aspects had moderate level that was 67.18 %. Therefore, the use of STAD learning model influences significantly towards the students’s learning achievement and improves the student’s cooperative activities on the subject of human digestive system.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model STAD terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas kerjasama siswa. Desain yang digunakan yaitu pretes postes non ekuivalen. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIIIB dan VIIID dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar dan dianalisis secara statistik  melalui uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi aktivitas kerjasama. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model STAD meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata Gain  0,58. Rata-rata Gain C1 (0,81) dan C2 (0,44). Aktivitas kerjasama siswa dari semua aspek yang diamati berkriteria cukup  yaitu 67,18 %. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model STAD  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan meningkatkan aktivitas kerjasama siswa pada materi pokok sistem pencernaan manusia. Kata kunci : aktivitas kerjasama, hasil belajar, model STAD
