Abstract

The word ikhlas, which is sometimes interpreted mystically, has the meaning as an attitude towards something without any interest. This study is to discuss the exact concept of ikhlas in the holy Koran. Ikhlas is the process of purification of aqidah (ftrth), ibadah (religious service) and muamalah (religious social interaction) bssed on the norms which has been determined by Allah and his Prophet. The analysis of Koranic themes and verses should be put according to the conclition of human kind objectively and still in the context of the given verses.

Abstract

The lack of understanding of comprehensive educational leadership can encourage in-depth discussions for educational leaders in formulating the concept of Islamic educational leadership that combines universal Islamic values with the current educational context. This research aims to explain the concept of Islamic educational leadership. The type of research used in this research is library research. The results showed that Islamic educational leadership must be able to direct and guide members of the educational community to achieve the educational goals set. Islamic education leadership must face global challenges, harmonize all parties' interests, ensure leadership competence and professionalism, and develop the ability to adapt, collaborate, and innovate. It is concluded that effective and adaptive Islamic education leadership is very important to realize the vision and mission of Islamic education in facing various challenges in the era of globalization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of educational management on the character development of students at the Musthafawiyah Purba Baru Traditional Islamic Boarding School in Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra Province. This is a descriptive qualitative study in which data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included foundation administrators, pesantren leaders and vice-chairmen, teachers, and students. According to the findings of the study, the transformation process of educational management in forming the character of students at the Musthafawiyah Purba Baru Traditional Islamic Boarding School, Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra Province, has been implemented in the form of a clean, honest, disciplined, trustworthy, independent, respectful, and simple character carried out through yellow book learning activities. Kyai, teachers, hostel supervisors, peers, and yourself all internalize these character values. Despite the fact that it is not optimally responsive to the times and has yet to determine the focus of character development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (a) comprehend how the Tahfizh Islamic Boarding School’s administration developed its educational vision and objective. (b) to identify the motivating and impeding elements; (c) to disclose initiatives aimed at enhancing the administration of the Tahfizh al-Qur’an Islamic Boarding School. This study used a descriptive-analytical approach that was divided into three stages: theoretical explanation, field fact description, and examination of the fit between theory and practice. Techniques for gathering data include documentation, interviews, and observation. The Miles and Huberman model is used in data analysis, while data triangulation is used in data validity procedures. The study discovered that Tahfizh Islamic boarding schools’ management, from planning and organizing to implementing and supervising, has not optimally adhered to contemporary management principles. This is evident in the lack of readily available, factual planning, organizing, management, and supervision documents. Supporting factors include a) the academic community’s high degree of openness to students; b) the teachers’ abilities; c) the teachers' role in imparting knowledge and the muaddib’s role in transforming it; d) the kiai’s role in providing round-the-clock supervision for students; e) the leader’s significant influence and some members of the public’s trust; and f) the academic community’s shared commitment. The fact that funding is scarce and infrastructure is still missing is an impediment. By hosting Tahfiz Al-Qur’an graduations, efforts are being made to enhance the administration of Islamic boarding schools that follow the Tahfizh Qur’an and to further the goals and objectives of education in the province of Jambi. Every year, there is a tahfizh Al-Qur’an graduation, which encourages students to build their educational vision and mission by arranging competitions amongst themselves and by having them participate in MTQ. The Tahfizh Qur’an Islamic boarding school also attempts to fill in time management, recitations, and imam scheduling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini beertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 41 Tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf ditinjau dari nilai produktifitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Penggunaan tanah wakaf yang ada di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur sudah sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 41 Tahun 2004 Tentang Wakaf, dari jumlah tanah wakaf yang ada berjumlah 433 digunakan dengan rincian: tempat ibadah sebanyak 144 tanah wakaf, makam/kuburan sebanyak 42 tanah wakaf, lembaga pendidikan sebanyak 7 tanah wakaf, dan sosial lainnya sebanyak 240 tanah wakaf. Pengelolaan pengembangan wakaf di Tanjung Jabung Timur masih sangat sederhana, sebagaian besar tidak ada pengembangan pengelolahan secara produktif ekonomis, jika tanah wakaf digunakan untuk pembangunan masjid hanya digunakan untuk pembangunan masjid saja walaupun tanah sisa dari lokasi pembangunan masjid sangat luas tidak dikelola secara produktif, dibiarkan saja semak belukar tanpa manfaat, yang selayaknya tanah wakaf tersebut dapat dikelola secara produktif. Implementasi regulasi wakaf di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur belum efektif, karena masih terjadi ketidaksesuaian antara das sollen dan das sein, regulasi wakaf yang terdiri dari Undang-Undang Nomor 41 Tahun 3004 tentang wakaf, dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 25 Tahun 2018 tentang perubahan atas perubahan atas Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 42 Tahun 2006 belum dilaksanakan secara efektif.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan memegang peranan sentral dalam menentukan arah dan keberhasilan lembaga pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini membahas tipologi pemimpin dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam dengan menyoroti gaya, karakter, serta pendekatan kepemimpinan yang beragam, seperti kepemimpinan karismatik, transformasional, hingga spiritual atau profetik. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas kepemimpinan tidak hanya diukur dari kemampuan administratif, tetapi juga dari kapasitas pemimpin sebagai teladan moral dan spiritual bagi seluruh warga sekolah. Pemimpin ideal adalah sosok yang mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan kompetensi manajerial modern, membangun budaya organisasi yang inklusif, serta mendorong inovasi dan partisipasi aktif dari semua elemen lembaga. Dengan memahami beragam tipologi ini, lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat mengembangkan model kepemimpinan yang visioner, amanah, dan responsif terhadap tantangan zaman.

Abstract

Manajemen sarana dan prasarana di lembaga pendidikan Islam merupakan faktor penentu mutu pendidikan yang tidak hanya berkaitan dengan capaian akademik, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai Islam seperti tawhid, amanah, al-‘adalah, ihsan, dan al-maslahah dalam pengelolaan sarana prasarana, sekaligus mengidentifikasi tantangan implementasinya serta merumuskan strategi pengelolaan yang efektif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui metode studi pustaka, data diperoleh dari sumber primer keislaman serta referensi sekunder berupa jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip syariah memberikan fondasi etis yang kuat bagi akuntabilitas dan keberlanjutan, meskipun masih terdapat tantangan berupa keterbatasan pendanaan, kapasitas sumber daya manusia, dan kerumitan regulasi. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya model pembiayaan syariah, pemanfaatan teknologi digital yang sesuai dengan etika Islam, serta penguatan kompetensi manajerial melalui capacity building
