Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance of the views of Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina in the development of contemporary Islamic education curricula. Al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina are two great figures in the history of Islamic thought who have significantly contributed to education. Al-Ghazali is known for his approach emphasizing the importance of integrating science with spirituality, while Ibn Sina is better known for his contributions to medicine and philosophy. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature approach to examine the relevance of Islamic education for both figures. The results of this study indicate that Al-Ghazali's views are still relevant in the context of current Islamic education and Ibn Sina's views, especially in developing a curriculum that balances general knowledge and spiritual values. The relevance of Al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina's views on the Islamic education curriculum can be used as a reference to produce individuals who are knowledgeable and have high morality and spirituality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk efektivitas program edukasi literasi keuangan syariah pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah Jauharatul Islamiah di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Program ini mencakup penyampaian materi berbasis bahan dari Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) mengenai prinsip-prinsip keuangan syariah, investasi halal, dan bahaya investasi ilegal serta pinjaman online yang tidak sesuai syariah. Sebanyak 65 siswa dari kelas X dan XI mengikuti kegiatan ini. Untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman, dilakukan uji pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan tingkat literasi awal siswa sebesar 39%, sedangkan hasil post-test meningkat menjadi 52%. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan ini signifikan secara statistik dengan nilai p-value sebesar 7.49e-16. Dengan demikian, program edukasi literasi keuangan syariah ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, dan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam membangun kesadaran akan pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze effective language teaching strategies for students at MI Pulutan Salatiga, focusing on methods that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to understand the application of different teaching methods, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that interactive teaching methods such as group discussions and role-playing are more effective than conventional methods, such as lectures and memorization, in increasing student participation and comprehension. Challenges faced in implementing interactive methods include limited facilities, teacher skills in classroom management, and differences in students' learning abilities. Students' responses to interactive methods were very positive; they felt more motivated and confident in using the language in contextual settings. Based on these findings, it is recommended that MI Pulutan increase support for the use of more varied methods and provide training for teachers to optimize the learning process. Creative and interactive teaching strategies have been proven to have a significant impact on the development of students' language skills, which is crucial in supporting their academic achievements and communication abilities in the future.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the application of the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework through an Exchange Orientation program designed to enhance student achievement in madrasahs. The research employs in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with educators participating in the program to gather insights into their experiences and perceptions regarding the integration of technology in teaching practices. The findings reveal that the Exchange Orientation program fosters collaborative learning among teachers, enabling them to share effective strategies for incorporating technology into their pedagogy and content delivery. Participants reported increased confidence in using technological tools, which subsequently led to more engaging and interactive learning experiences for students. The study highlights the critical role of professional development initiatives that utilize the TPACK framework in transforming teaching methodologies and improving student learning outcomes in madrasahs.

Abstract

Effective character education for the younger generation is crucial in facing global challenges in the future. By integrating local and global values, education can shape students who not only understand their cultural roots but are also ready to contribute positively to the global community. This study aims to explore innovative approaches in character education that combine local and global values to form a competent generation. The method used is a literature review, examining various educational strategies such as project-based learning, service learning, arts-based education, and technology. The results of the study show that the synergy between local and global values in education helps students develop social skills, empathy, and social justice. Additionally, this approach also prepares students to collaborate internationally, develop critical and creative thinking skills, and build adaptable character traits, making them ready to become responsible future leaders. Integrating these values in education will ensure a competent, open-minded, and globally prepared younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the supporting components and content of TPACK. (2) knowing the integration of the TPACK concept in Islamic religious education. This research method uses library (library research), data information collected by reviewing journal articles, books, and documents that are relevant to the research problem. The results of this study indicate that: (1) TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) is a combination of three components namely technology, pedagogy and some content in teaching and learning activities. (2) Integration of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) with the TPACK concept as an effort to hone and increase the skills of Islamic religious education teachers in teaching Islamic material on aqidah morals, fiqh, or the history of Islamic civilization. Among these three aspects of understanding, learning strategies emerge that are able to achieve educational goals, including developing students' creative thinking skills. TPACK in PAI starts with the teacher who must have a lesson plan (RPP).Implementation Learning) first, then applied to teaching and learning activities by integrating technology, pedagogy and educational content.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji realisasi harga eceran tertinggi (HET) penjualan gas bersubsidi di Kampung Laut, Tanjung Jabung Timur, sebagai studi kasus pembelajaran Fiqh Muamalah di Institut Al Mujaddid Sabak. Fokus kajian terletak pada bagaimana konsep tas’īr al-jabārī yang dibahas dalam teori fiqh dapat diaplikasikan pada kebijakan penetapan harga dalam konteks sosial-ekonomi masyarakat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis studi kasus lapangan ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan analisis kritis, pemahaman kontekstual, serta kemampuan mahasiswa mengintegrasikan teori fiqh dengan realitas kebijakan publik. Selain itu, keterlibatan langsung mahasiswa di lapangan menumbuhkan kepekaan sosial dan kesadaran akan peran mereka sebagai calon praktisi dan akademisi di bidang ekonomi Islam. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi studi kasus ke dalam pembelajaran merupakan strategi efektif untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu memecahkan persoalan masyarakat dengan landasan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze kiai leadership and factors that hinder human resource management in Islamic Boarding Schools in Jambi. This research uses a descriptive qualitative study that reveals, finds and explores information about kiai leadership in HR Management of Islamic Boarding Schools in Jambi Province. Human resource management of Islamic boarding schools in Jambi Province is carried out with several stages. 1) Planning begins with recruiting the required HR without referring to HR recruitment patterns from professional institutions; 2) Organizing the placement of educators and education personnel in their fields of work despite overlapping positions; 3) Implementation, in accordance with the workflow, although some HR have duplicate jobs which result in not maximizing the work they carry out; 4) Controlling, as a control step from the implementation in the field, although the stages of control have not been clearly illustrated; 5) Assessment is carried out periodically even though it is according to the needs and desires of the leadership, so that the evaluation results cannot be used as guidelines in determining the next program. The causes of inhibiting factors in human resource management at Islamic boarding schools in Jambi have not been effective, among others: 1) HR professionalism has not been evenly distributed, Islamic boarding school HR prioritizes experience in working; 2) budget funds, facilities and facilities that support performance have not all met proper education standards in accordance with the mandate of laws and regulations; 3) As well as HR welfare has not met wage standards.

Abstract

Pendidikan nilai sejatinya tidak dapat terlaksana dengan baik, jika tidak sejalan dengan kerjasama oleh tenaga pendidikan dan orang tua yang secara massife ikut berjuang dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi konsep pendidikan nilai menurut Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan Nicoulas Driyarkara. Metode penelitian dalam jurnal ini menggunakan metode literature review. Metode literatur ini didapatkan dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal, buku, internet dan pustaka. Metode literatur dilakukan peneliti dengan maksud utama yaitu mencari dasar atau fondasi utnuk memperoleh dan membangun landasan teori, kerangka berpikir, dan menentukan hipotesa. Ki Hadjar Dewantara mengatakan bahwa bulatnya jiwa manusia terdapat pada budi pekerti atau watak seseorang. Lebih lanjut Ki Hadjar Dewantara menjelaskan pendidikan karakter dapat diperoleh melalui trisentra karena di dalam kehidupan anak-anak ada tiga tempat pergaulan yang menjadi pusat pendidikan yang amat penting baginya yaitu alam keluarga, alam perguruan, dan alam pergerakan pemuda. Adapun menurut Driyarkara pendidikan karakter mendeskripsikan bilamana kegiatan mengajar dan mendidik karakter terdapat perbandingan. Peserta didik dilihat sebagai manusia merdeka dalam perjalanan kemanusiannya. Driyaryaka memberikan pandangan bahwa pendidik harus memposisikan dirinya sebagai anak kecil usia 4-5 tahun yang dianggap sebagai manusia yang selalu ingin melakukan sesuatu tetapi tidak memahami apa yang dilakukannya.
