Abstract

Art is an expressive embodiment of culture in Toraja. One of its manifestations is through traditional musical instruments, one of which is the geso-geso musical instrument. Geso-geso is a traditional musical instrument that is played by swiping. This traditional musical instrument is made with special raw materials that have strong and hard properties. In addition there are also parts of the shell which are covered with materials such as animal skins. This section will later function as a loudspeaker membrane. The tool used for swiping is made of wood fiber or you can also use palm fiber. The fibers that will be used for swiping are tied to a rattan. The Millennial Generation is the generation that will take care of preserving it. Millennials should be able to innovate traditional musical instruments to be cooler and more beautiful according to their wishes and be creative. That way the musical instruments inherited from our ancestors will not be easily lost or eroded by modern musical instruments.

Abstract

Kelurahan Talion merupakan salah satu wilayah di Kecamatan Rembon, yang wilayahnya cukup luas dan kebanyakan masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai petani. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya mengalami kendala dalam hasil pertanian yang biasa rusak karena penggunaan pupuk kimia yang berlebihan. Dari permasalahan ini maka mahasiswa KKN menyarankan untuk mengganti penggunaan pupuk kimia dengan Pupuk Biosaka. Tujuan diadakannya program ini untuk mengajak masyarakat di Kelurahan Talion membuat Pupuk Biosaka dengan memanfaatkan daun-daunan atau rerumputan sehingga mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik di masyarakat yang dapat merusak lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sosialisai yang bekerjasama dengan penyuluh pertanian dan melibatkan partisipasi kelompok tani serta masyarakat Kelurahan Talion. Tanaman yang diberi Pupuk Biosaka akan menghasilkan kualitas yang bagus karena kandungan nutrisinya memberi kesuburan pada tanaman. Dengan adanya pembuatan Pupuk Biosaka ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat untuk lebih memilih menggunakan pupuk organik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of time management on the academic achievement of students who work in Tana Toraja Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple regression analysis method. The population in this study is the number of students who work while studying in Tana Toraja Regency, with the sampling technique using the lemeshow formula with a maximum estimate of 5%. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed using SPSS Version 23 data processing. The results of the study indicate that time management has a positive and significant effect on the academic achievement of students who work with the results of the t-test calculation on the time management variable t count> t table with a value of 11.267> 1.985. This means that the better the student's ability to manage time, the higher the academic achievement achieved.

Abstract

Tampang Allo Tourism Object is one of the local tourism potentials that can be developed as a source of community income. However, financial management that has not been planned and structured properly remains one of the main obstacles in optimizing tourism revenue. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of tourism managers in recording financial transactions, preparing simple financial reports, classifying sources of income and expenses, and planning the use of funds more effectively. The activity was implemented using a participatory approach through initial observation, interviews, problem identification, financial management training, practical mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The results show that the managers began to understand the importance of recording income and expenses regularly, separating operational funds, and using financial reports as a basis for determining tourism development priorities. This mentoring activity also encouraged the involvement of managers and the local community in managing tourism revenue more transparently and responsibly. The implication of this activity is the improvement of managers’ capacity in organizing tourism financial management, which can support decision-making, cost control, facility maintenance, promotion, and sustainable income growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between time management and academic achievement of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) students at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja, and to determine whether role conflict moderates the relationship between time management and academic achievement from the perspective of time management theory and role strain theory. This study uses a quantitative approach with a moderated regression analysis method (MRA). The population in this study were all RPL students at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja, with a sampling technique using saturated sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed using the SEM-Smart PLS program. The results showed that time management had a positive and significant effect on academic achievement of RPL students with a path coefficient of 0.607, T of 3.769, and a p-value of 0.000. This means that the better the student's ability to manage time, the higher the academic achievement achieved. However, role conflict did not act as a moderating variable in the relationship between time management and academic achievement with a path coefficient of 0.180, T of 1.289, and a p-value of 0.197. Thus, the level of role conflict experienced by students does not change the strength or weakness of the influence of time management on academic achievement

Abstract

Digital transformation is reshaping public sector organizations, necessitating enhanced competitiveness through advanced technologies and optimised human resource strategies. This study aims to determine the effect of human resource management and digital talent management practices on public organizational competitiveness, focusing on their individual and combined effects. A quantitative approach employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling was used, with data collected from 380 government employees in a local region via a survey. Human Resource Management significantly strengthens competitiveness by enhancing workforce capabilities, motivation, and commitment (β=0.38; p<0.05), while Digital Talent Management drives innovation and organizational flexibility (β=0.42; p<0.05). The integration of both practices yields the strongest impact (β=0.71; p<0.05), highlighting their synergistic effect. The findings underscore that sustainable competitiveness in public organizations relies on integrating human resource management with digital talent management. Local governments should adopt policies that align these frameworks to foster adaptive, innovative, and citizen-oriented governance, ensuring effective bureaucratic transformation in the digital era. This study enriches theoretical discourse and offers practical guidance for enhancing public sector performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work flexibility and workload on the work-life balance of Maxim drivers in Tana Toraja Regency. The study focuses on understanding how flexibility in organizing working time and the workload experienced by drivers may influence their ability to maintain a balance between work responsibilities and personal life. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 59 Maxim drivers in Tana Toraja Regency. The analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship among work flexibility, workload, and work-life balance. The results show that work flexibility has an effect on the work-life balance of Maxim drivers in Tana Toraja Regency, indicating that flexibility in working arrangements contributes to their ability to manage work and personal activities. Workload has no effect on the work-life balance of Maxim drivers in Tana Toraja Regency. Simultaneously, work flexibility and workload have an effect on the work-life balance of Maxim drivers in Tana Toraja Regency. These findings highlight the importance of work flexibility in supporting the work-life balance of drivers in the platform-based transportation sector.
