Abstract

The development of digital technology contributes significant roles to businesses, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It raises the digital economy and fintech services to the MSMEs market, such as peer-to-peer lending, digital payment, crowdfunding, digital assets, e-commerce, social commerce, etc. This research aims to analyze MSMEs financial and business improvement model by using MSME's digital economy products and fintech penetration strategy in Indonesia. This study employed a mixed research method by integrating the Delphi technique and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The Delphi method was used to identify criteria or construct for the research framework, while AHP was used to evaluate and determine the score and priorities of the MSMEs financial performance criteria, business goals, digital economy's alternative products, and fintech penetration strategies. The Delphi method consists of round 1 - to explore the research framework, round 2 - to rank the research indicators, followed by AHP at round 3. The study involves 20 expert panels of MSMEs in greater Jakarta. This study found that the use of digital economy products - particularly fintech will enhance MSMEs' financial performance by increasing sales volume and business profits. It helps them achieving business goals by increasing their revenue and expanding their business. MSMEs need digital payment and mobile banking as vital fintech services. This study also provides strategic guidance to fintech players and government to effectively penetrate fintech products to MSMEs mainly through knowledge dissemination and digital knowledge improvement.

Abstract

Nanobubbles (NB) have attracted many researchers due to their unique characteristics, one of which is increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen (DO) in liquids, making them a promising technology for various applications, such as water treatment and aquaculture. This study investigates the generation of NBs using a custom-designed cartridge nozzle and evaluates their effectiveness in sustaining elevated DO concentrations. Experiments were carried out under a controlled gas pressure of 400 N/m2 comprising a 30-minute active phase with the generator turned on, followed by a 30-minute passive phase with the generator off, to assess NB formation and stability. The results showed that smaller nanobubbles had higher stability, allowing dissolved oxygen to stay longer in the water. Particle size analysis revealed the production of uniformly distributed NBs averaging approximately 600 nm, which remained structurally stable even after gas input ceased. During the active phase, DO levels increased sharply, peaking at 28.51 mg/L by the 10th minute. Although a gradual decline was observed after pressurization stopped, DO levels remained significantly higher than baseline, indicating the prolonged oxygen retention capability of NBs. This performance is attributed to the slow dissolution kinetics, high zeta potential, and favorable interfacial interactions of the bubbles. Overall, the cartridge nozzle-based method demonstrates strong potential for applications in water treatment, aquaculture, and other processes requiring efficient and sustained oxygen delivery.

Abstract

The government issued a presidential regulation on national entrepreneurship development to strengthen the economic structure, and the government will add 1 million entrepreneurs. Universities play an essential role but must involve the industry and create a conducive environment. Science Techno Park unites the sector and academia by providing an environment that fosters interaction. Presidential Regulation No. 18 of 2020 mandates the establishment of Science Techno Parks based on higher education institutions. We studied the future of science and technology parks in Indonesia by analyzing news articles from websites between 2019 and 2024. The results of the word cloud analysis showed that the word "technology" was the most frequently encountered during coding, followed by "science," "research," "zone," and "innovation," which are the main elements of the STP. From the business model canvas, the most expansive customer segments include students, alums, researchers, startups, and industry. The value proposition is oriented towards technology in line with the university's competencies. The conclusion of the business model for science technoparks in Indonesian universities is in the development stage, with a focus on strengthening the ecosystem through innovation and industry collaboration.
