Abstract

Literasi sains penting untuk dimiliki siswa karena berpotensi besar dalam mendukung pembangunan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan berkualitas guna menghadapi tantangan era globalisasi. Rendahnya literasi sains siswa di kelas IX MTs Muslmat NU Palangka Raya harus diatasi dengan implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti eXe Learning. Penelitian ini nertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi media eXe Learning terhadap literasi sains siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain Nonequivalent control group. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan pada kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas IX MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya setelah implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis eXe Learning materi pewarisan sifat karena diperoleh nilai thitung>ttabel, yaitu nilai thitung sebesar 5,147 dan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,665.

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan proses pembelajaran di sekolah berlangsung secara Online, sehingga menyebabkan guru di tuntut bisa mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran secara daring. Hal ini yang menjadi dasar untuk melaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan di SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut Palangkaraya dalam membuat video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 18 peserta dan didampingi oleh 3 instruktur. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di laksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2020 selama 3 minggu, meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Materi pelatihan berupa optimalisasi penggunaan Power point sebagai media pembelajaran dilanjutkan pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi Camtasia. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah 1) Kompetensi guru meningkat dalam membuat video pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia, 2) Guru termotivasi untuk belajar membuat media berbasis teknologi yang lainnya, 3) Video pembelajaran yang di buat guru lebih memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study is based on the problem of madrasah exams that cannot be conducted directly or in writing due to the impact of covid-19 which requires the implementation of madrasah exams to be conducted online. So that madrasah exams are conducted online using TCExam application conducted in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya and what obstacles occur and how the implementation of madrasah exams using the TCExam application is specifically on madrasah exams in the religious field studied. The purpose of this research is to describe the planning of madrasah exam implementation using TCExam application in the religious field, constraints in the implementation of madrasah exams using TCExam application in the religious field and students' response to the implementation of madrasah exams using the TCExam application. The research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The place of this research is MTsN 1 Palangka Raya. The subjects of this study were the Head of Madrasah, Wakamad curriculum, Operator, and Teacher of Religious Affairs. Data collection using interview techniques and documentation. Data analysis is done by collecting data, presenting and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is done using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study show that 1. Planning the implementation of madrasah exams using TCExam application in the field of religion in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya, namely the simulation and explanation from the operator to teachers for the use of TCExam application. 2. Implementation of madrasah exams using TCExam application. 3. Constraints in the implementation of madrasah exams using tcexam application in the field of religion in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya namely in students who are sometimes late to log in madrasah exams using the TCExam application, further constraints in the internet network of students are unstable and also in the implementation of madrasah exams using the online TCExam application is another obstacle also that students can commit fraud or cheating in this case the role of parents is very important to supervise students in the implementation of online madrasah exams using the TCExam application.

Abstract

Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic skin disorder associated with colonization by Malassezia furfur and is commonly treated with topical antifungal agents and corticosteroids, which may cause adverse effects when used long term. Therefore, safer and more sustainable alternative therapies derived from natural products are needed. One such candidate is bajakah root (Uncaria acida), which is known to contain flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, terpenoids, and saponins with potential antifungal activity. This study employed a true experimental posttest-only design involving 24 male BALB/c mice induced with Malassezia furfur and divided into a negative control group (distilled water), a positive control group (ketoconazole), and treatment groups receiving Uncaria acida extract at concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The research stages included extr act preparation using ethanol maceration, ointment formulation, fungal infection induction, and clinical evaluation. Phytochemical analysis confirmed a total flavonoid content of 28.5 mg QE/g. The results demonstrated significant differences across all clinical parameters (p < 0.05), with the 75% extract concentration providing the most optimal clinical improvement. These findings indicate that Uncaria acida extract has strong potential for development as a topical herbal therapeutic candidate and provides a foundation for further studies focusing on formulation optimization and clinical trials.

Abstract

Onychomycosis is a fungal infection of the nail predominantly caused by Trichophyton rubrum and requires safer alternative therapies compared to synthetic antifungal agents. The combination of plant extracts may produce synergistic effects through interactions among bioactive compounds with complementary antifungal mechanisms. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a combined extract of Bajakah root (Uncaria acida) and Bandotan leaf (Ageratum conyzoides) as a topical therapy in T. rubrum–induced Balb/c mice. The selection of this combination was based on the presence of flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, terpenoids, and saponins in both plants, which are theoretically associated with antifungal activity. Extracts were obtained by 96% ethanol maceration and formulated into ointments at concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. Clinical parameters observed included periungual swelling, lesion diameter, nail discoloration, and nail brittleness. Phytochemical analysis confirmed the presence of major bioactive secondary metabolites in both extracts. The results demonstrated clinical improvement in all treatment groups, with the most pronounced effects observed at concentrations of 75–100%. Kruskal–Wallis analysis revealed significant differences among treatments (p < 0.05) for all parameters, which were further confirmed by Dunn’s post hoc test. Overall, the combined extracts of U. acida and A. conyzoides effectively reduced the severity of T. rubrum–induced onychomycosis and show potential as a natural antifungal candidate derived from local plant resources.
