Abstract

A nutritional status assessment system is an electronic health information system that records toddler growth based on age-specific weight and height measurements. Parents may not always maintain appropriate scheduling or regular visits for periodic monitoring at healthcare facilities. This study presents a usability evaluation of a web-based nutritional monitoring system that implements an Electronic Growth Monitoring Card (e-KMS). Users interact with the system through a user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) designed to support effective interaction. The main contribution of this study is the empirical validation of the usability level of a web-based e-KMS in a healthcare context using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The evaluation involved 20 respondents, consisting of parent representatives and daycare teachers or administrators as e-KMS users, and employed 10 SUS statements measured on a five-point Likert scale. The SUS analysis yielded a score of 77.78, indicating a good and acceptable level of usability. These findings demonstrate that the developed e-KMS is suitable for supporting digital-based monitoring of toddler nutritional status in healthcare services.

Abstract

The process of borrowing and returning medical record documents at the Dental and Oral Hospital of the University of Jember is currently carried out manually using an expedition book. The absence of a tracer as a tool to track medical records makes it difficult for staff to locate borrowed documents, leading to misplaced documents in the filing racks. There are issues with late returns from clinics, which do not comply with the standard operating procedures for medical record document storage at the Dental and Oral Hospital of the University of Jember, and there is no record of these delays, resulting in a lack of problem documentation. The researcher aims to design and develop a web-based medical record borrowing and returning information system at the Dental and Oral Hospital of the University of Jember. The researcher used the waterfall development method, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, documentation, and brainstorming. The results of the study show that the developed information system has several advantages, such as medical record barcode printing features, medical record tracers, and WhatsApp notifications as reminders for overdue medical record returns.

Abstract

Medical record service activities at the Arjasa Community Health Center in Situbondo Regency still often experience missfiles. A missfile is a medical record file that is misplaced or not found on the medical record storage shelf in the filling room. This missfile occurs because there is no device that controls the entry and exit of medical records, meaning that incoming and outgoing medical records are not recorded in either the medical record tracer or expedition book. resulting in delays in returning medical records to both inpatient and outpatient units. The time limit for borrowing medical records in the outpatient unit is 1x24 hours and 2x24 hours for inpatient care. To minimize delays in returning medical record data which can result in missfiles, this project aims to design and create an information system for borrowing and returning medical records at the Arjasa Community Health Center, Situbondo Regency. This type of research is Research and Development research using the Waterfall method. Data collection was carried out by interviews, documentation and observation. This research produces a website-based information system for borrowing and returning medical records with the advantage of reminders on WhatsApp users. Program flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams are used in designing this information system, and the black box testing method is used for testing.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven innovation in the provision of nutrition education and consultation services, one of which is through the implementation of the VANESA (Virtual Assistant Nutritional Care Center for Education and Consultation) system. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the VANESA system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach, which emphasizes two main variables, namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, as the main determinants of technology acceptance. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to active VANESA users. Data was analyzed using regression analysis techniques and validity tests to examine the relationship between variables in the TAM model and the level of user satisfaction. The results show that both perceptions of usefulness and ease of use have a positive and significant influence on user attitudes, which in turn impacts their satisfaction with the use of the VANESA system. These findings indicate that increasing the functionality and ease of access of the system will strengthen user acceptance. This study provides important implications for the development of digital healthcare systems, particularly in designing virtual assistants that are adaptive to user needs and based on user experience.Keywords: nutrition education, satisfaction, TAM, VANESA
