Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi hubungan antara layanan cedera olahraga dengan kondisi remaja saat kembali berolahraga. Sebanyak 259 remaja dengan riwayat cedera olahraga dianalisis berdasarkan karakteristik seperti usia, jenis kelamin, status atlet, kebiasaan pemanasan, dan jenis olahraga yang mereka lakukan. Dari hasil penelitian, rerata usia responden adalah 20,6±1,5 tahun dengan mayoritas responden adalah laki-laki (89,2%). Cedera ringan ditemukan pada 67,2% responden, dan sebagian besar penanganan cedera dilakukan melalui metode tradisional atau pengobatan alternatif (52,1%). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara layanan penanganan cedera dengan indeks massa tubuh, status atlet, dan jenis olahraga. Remaja dengan indeks massa tubuh lebih tinggi dan yang berstatus atlet cenderung menerima layanan medis profesional. Jenis olahraga seperti badminton, sepak bola, dan bela diri lebih sering mendapatkan layanan medis, sementara olahraga seperti voli dan futsal lebih banyak ditangani dengan pengobatan tradisional dan alternatif. Tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara usia dan tingkat keparahan cedera dengan jenis layanan penanganan cedera. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor-faktor lain seperti ketersediaan layanan dan preferensi pribadi mungkin lebih mempengaruhi pemilihan jenis layanan.

Abstract

Pelatihan teknik renang merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dasar berenang serta kesadaran akan keselamatan di air, khususnya pada anak-anak yang tinggal di wilayah pedesaan. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya akses pendidikan olahraga air di Desa Mekarsari, yang berpotensi menghambat pengembangan kemampuan motorik anak serta meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan air. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan mencakup pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif yang disesuaikan dengan tahapan perkembangan usia anak. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada penguasaan teknik dasar renang meliputi pernapasan, meluncur, dan gaya dada, dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 68% dari penilaian awal. Temuan ilmiah menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan teknik renang secara terstruktur dapat meningkatkan koordinasi motorik kasar, rasa percaya diri, dan kesadaran keselamatan air pada anak-anak. Pelatihan ini juga menjadi wadah pengembangan kapasitas masyarakat melalui keterlibatan aktif para orang tua dan perangkat desa. Dengan demikian, program pelatihan ini dapat direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan secara berkelanjutan di wilayah pedesaan lainnya sebagai bagian dari pendidikan preventif dan penguatan budaya hidup sehat

Abstract

Falls are a common public health problem in older adults and are associated with declines in physical function, disability, and reduced quality of life. This study aimed to examine the association between a history of falls in the past six months and lower extremity functional performance among community-dwelling older adults. A cross-sectional observational study was conducted in 50 community-dwelling older adults. Fall history was obtained through interviews, while lower extremity function was assessed using the Five Times Sit-to-Stand Test (FTSTS). Data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test and binary logistic regression. The results showed that 10 of 50 participants (20%) had a history of falls, and this group had a significantly longer FTSTS time (19.26 seconds) than those without a history of falls (14.05 seconds), with a significant association between FTSTS time and fall history (p = 0.018). Each 1-second increase in FTSTS time was associated with an approximately 20% higher odds of falling (odds ratio [OR] = 1.20; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.02–1.40; p = 0.024). These findings indicate that poorer lower extremity function is an important factor associated with falls among community-dwelling older adults, and that the FTSTS may serve as a simple screening tool to identify older adults at higher risk of falls in primary care and community settings.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Peningkatan jumlah penduduk lanjut usia (lansia) di Indonesia menimbulkan tantangan serius dalam bidang kesehatan masyarakat, salah satunya adalah kondisi frailty atau kerapuhan. Rumah Senja di Lombok Timur, yang menaungi lebih dari 100 lansia, belum memiliki sistem skrining rutin, dan kader pendamping belum mampu mngidentifikasi frailty secara mandiri. Program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kader dalam mengidentifikasi frailty menggunakan instrumen fungsional sederhana. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah community-based research (CBR) dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan pendampingan, lalu monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilakukan selama empat minggu, yang diikuti oleh 10 orang kader dan dihadiri oleh 49 lansia. Hasil pemeriksaan dengan pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa 28 lansia (57,1%) berada pada kategori frail, 16 lansia (32,7%) dalam kategori pre-frail, dan hanya 5 lansia (10,2%) tergolong robust. Pemahaman kader tentang frailty meningkat dari rata-rata 85 menjadi 87 poin, serta persepsi terhadap pencegahan melalui olahraga, nutrisi, dan dukungan sosial naik dari 85,7% menjadi 90,9%. Sebanyak 81,8% kader merekomendasikan skrining bulanan, sedangkan 18,2% menyarankan minimal dua kali setahun. Temuan ini menunjukkan prevalensi frailty di Rumah Senja cukup tinggi. Pelatihan kader dengan instrumen sederhana terbukti efektif meningkatkan kapasitas deteksi dini. Model skrining frailty berbasis komunitas ini memiliki potensi besar untuk dijadikan contoh di wilayah lain sebagai bagian dari strategi nasional mendukung penuaan sehat di Indonesia.Kata kunci: Frailty; Identifikasi; Instrumen Fungsional; Kader Kesehatan; Lanjut Usia. ABSTRACTThe increasing number of elderly people in Indonesia poses serious challenges in public health, one of which is the condition of frailty. Rumah Senja in East Lombok had more than 100 elderly individuals, currently lacks a regular screening system, and its field cadres are unable to independently identify frailty. This research-based community service project aims to enhance the capacity of cadres in identifying frailty using simple functional assessment tools. The method applied is community-based research (CBR) through stages of preparation, implementation of fascilitation, and monitoring and evaluation. The activities were conducted over four weeks, involving 10 cadres and 49 elderly participants. Screening results with guidance showed that 28 elderly (57.1%) were classified as frail, 16 (32.7%) as pre-frail, and only 5 (10.2%) as robust. Cadres’ understanding of frailty improved from an average of 85 to 87 points, and their perception of prevention through exercise, nutrition, and social support increased from 85.7% to 90.9%. A total of 81.8% of cadres recommended monthly screenings, while 18.2% suggested at least twice a year. These findings indicate a high prevalence of frailty at Rumah Senja. This community-based frailty screening model has significant potential to be replicated in other regions as part of a national strategy to support healthy aging in Indonesia. Keywords: Frailty; Identification; Functional Instrument; Health’s Cadres; Elderly.

Abstract

Prestasi olahraga yang optimal dalam kompetisi multi-event seperti Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) sangat bergantung pada efektivitas proses pemulihan (recovery) atlet. Atlet bela diri, khususnya, menghadapi tuntutan fisik dan mental yang tinggi, meningkatkan risiko kelelahan ekstrem dan cedera. P enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan recovery atlet bela diri Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) pada PON Kudus Jawa Tengah melalui penerapan sport massage. Program ini dilaksanakan pada 80 atlet bela diri NTB selama periode PON (9-26 Oktober 2025), dengan total 285 sesi sport massage yang diberikan sebagai post-event atau inter-event massage. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 73 atlet, observasi langsung, dan wawancara dengan atlet serta pelatih. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan respons positif yang signifikan: 91,8% atlet melaporkan penurunan kelelahan otot, 88,9% merasakan pengurangan nyeri otot (DOMS), 97,3% mengalami peningkatan relaksasi, dan 87,7% merasa lebih siap secara fisik untuk kompetisi berikutnya. Tingkat kepuasan terhadap layanan sport massage mencapai 95,9%. Analisis kualitatif memperkuat temuan ini, menyoroti pemulihan fisik yang cepat, dampak psikologis positif, peningkatan kualitas tidur, serta dukungan terhadap performa dan pencegahan cedera. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan sport massage terbukti efektif dalam mengoptimalkan recovery atlet bela diri NTB, memberikan manfaat fisik dan psikologis yang signifikan, serta sangat diterima oleh atlet.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of balance training and aerobic endurance on the shooting accuracy of 10 meter air pistol athletes. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest approach. The subjects were 10 athletes from Perbakin Rinjani NTB, divided into two groups: the balance training (core stability) group and the aerobic endurance training (fartlek) group. The training program was conducted for 5 weeks with a frequency of 4 times per week. Shooting accuracy data were collected through the standard ISSF 10 meter air pistol scoring test (60 shots). Data analysis used paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and Cohen's d effect size. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant effect of balance training on improving shooting accuracy (p=0.003; effect size=0.896). (2) There was a significant effect of aerobic endurance training on improving shooting accuracy (p=0.005; effect size=0.938). (3) There was no significant difference in the effect between the two types of training on shooting accuracy (p=0.760). The conclusion of this study is that both balance and aerobic endurance training are equally effective in improving the shooting accuracy of 10 meter air pistol athletes and can be integrated into training programs.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the level of anxiety experienced by Gelora FC football athletes before competition. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey design. The population consisted of 20 athletes, and the entire population was used as the research subjects. The instrument was a 35-item anxiety questionnaire covering physiological, cognitive, and behavioral-emotional aspects. The instrument testing indicated that all items were valid, with item-total correlations higher than the r-table value of 0.361, and the reliability coefficient reached Cronbach’s alpha = 0.884, indicating high internal consistency. Descriptive analysis showed that 18 athletes (90%) were in the high-anxiety category, 1 athlete (5%) was in the moderate category, and 1 athlete (5%) was in the very high category, while none were categorized as low anxiety. The mean interval score was 65, which falls within the high category. These findings indicate that most Gelora FC athletes have not yet reached optimal mental readiness before competition. Therefore, structured mental training is recommended to help athletes manage anxiety and maintain competitive performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan Jumping Jack dan Burpees terhadap daya tahan kardiovaskuler pemain bulu tangkis PB. Gemilang tahun 2025, serta membandingkan efektivitas kedua jenis latihan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 pemain PB. Gemilang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling, kemudian dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok latihan Jumping Jack dan kelompok latihan Burpees. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur daya tahan kardiovaskuler adalah Bleep Test (VO2max). Program latihan diberikan selama 6 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali per minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan Jumping Jack dan Burpees berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kardiovaskuler pemain bulu tangkis PB. Gemilang (p < 0,05). Namun demikian, hasil perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa latihan Burpees lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan daya tahan kardiovaskuler dibandingkan latihan Jumping Jack, dengan selisih peningkatan sebesar 1,53 atau 75,3%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua jenis latihan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan daya tahan kardiovaskuler, akan tetapi latihan Burpees memberikan peningkatan yang lebih besar. Oleh karena itu, latihan Burpees direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif latihan kondisi fisik untuk meningkatkan daya tahan kardiovaskuler pemain bulu tangkis.

Abstract

Massage has long been known to humans, especially people from the east, this massage has been done for centuries by our ancestors. Massage is a simple manipulation that is often used by people around us to overcome discomfort in parts of the body. Massage is an art of hand movement which has the aim of gaining fitness, recovering from injuries, curing disease, and supporting sports and work performance. The mechanical effect of hand movements during this massage will create a feeling of calm, comfortable relaxation, and create a refreshing feeling in the recipient's body. The aims of this research are (1) To determine the effect of sports massage on increasing feelings of comfort for athletes in the single art of standard pencak silat MTsN 2 East Lombok in 2024. This research is experimental research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The research population was 20 MTsN 2 East Lombok MTsN 2 East Lombok martial arts athletes. The sample for this study was 10 people who were determined using purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that there is a difference in the influence of sports massage before and after training on the comfort of athletes in the single art of pencak silat standard MTsN 2 East Lombok in 2024 where sports massage after training has more influence on the athlete's level of comfort with a calculated t value of 13.639 while the t table is 2.262, this means that t count > t table, namely 13.639 > 2.262 and the p value = 0.05.
