Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based information system for recording teacher activities and student achievements at SMK Negeri 1 Suak Tapeh. The background of this research lies in the school’s previous manual data management method using Microsoft Word and Excel, which often caused inefficiency and data loss. The objective is to create a structured and accessible system that improves the accuracy, transparency, and accountability of institutional data management. The system was developed using the Agile Scrum methodology to ensure iterative development and continuous user involvement. PHP was used as the main programming language, MySQL as the database, and Tailwind CSS for responsive interface design. The system integrates five user roles Operator, Teacher, Head of Administration, Principal, and Vice Principal each with specific access privileges according to their institutional responsibilities. Black-box testing was applied to evaluate system functionality, focusing on the accuracy of input and output processes. The results show that all system modules, including activity submission, approval workflow, achievement management, and report generation, functioned as expected and met user requirements. The system successfully replaced the manual process with a digital platform that enhances efficiency and transparency. Furthermore, it provides real-time access through responsive web design across desktop and mobile devices. Future improvements may include integrating data analytics, notification systems, and enhanced security layers to support the school’s digital transformation.

Abstract

Museum dr.AK.Gani memerlukan media promosi untuk menarik masyarakat berkunjung ke museum fisik yang menyimpan koleksi bersejarah peninggalan sang pahlawan nasional. Pada pameran bersama museum di Sumatera Selatan, museum dr.AK.Gani turut berpartisipasi dengan memamerkan sejumlah koleksi namun tidak cukup informatif dikarenakan terbatasnya ruang pamer dan petugas yang dapat mempromosikan keberadaan museum. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan merancang brosur inovatif yang memiliki luaran berupa media promosi dalam bentuk brosur yang dapat disebarluaskan kepada pengunjung pameran secara cepat. Brosur dirancang berbasis teknologi Google Map yang memudahkan pengunjung menuju lokasi museum dipandu oleh aplikasi Google Map. Informasi yang dimuat dalam brosur mendeskripsikan museum dan mengilustrasikan koleksi serta bangunan museum dr.AK.Gani sehingga diharapkan dapat menarik minat kunjungan wisata sejarah masyarakat. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa brosur yang dibuat mempu memberikan informasi yang menarik minat masyarakat berkunjung ke museum dr.AK.Gani. Rata-rata pengunjung setuju bahwa brosur yang dirancang efektif memberikan informasi tentang museum dr.AK.Gani dan meningkatkan minat untuk datang berwisata ke museum fisik. Mitra PkM menyatakan bahwa brosur inovatif sudah sesuai untuk kebutuhan fasilitas layanan informasi museum dr.AK.Gani.

Abstract

Abstract: The Public Health Center (Puskesmas) is a driving center for health-oriented development, empowering societies and families, and first-level health service is responsible for improving the quality of its services by delivering relevant, fast, and targeted information to achieve its vision and mission. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic some time ago, the role of the Puskesmas laboratory as the frontline of the first-level health service center in examining Covid-19 symptoms and carrying out vaccinations is essential. Therefore, this community service activity aims to implement a web-based laboratory application at the Gandus health center to assist laboratory staff in completing, collecting, processing, and presenting data in a more structured, easy-to-read, timely, and accurate manner. The stages of the activity include interviews, discussions, patient data collection and laboratory examinations, application installation, and socialization of its use. This activity can improve the quality of laboratory services and add value to the accreditation of the Puskesmas.Keywords: application; laboratory; Public Health Center; service  Abstrak: Puskesmas sebagai pusat penggerak pembangunan berwawasan kesehatan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, keluarga dan tempat pelayanan kesehatan tingkat pertama bertanggung jawab meningkatkan mutu layanannya melalui penyampaian informasi yang relevan, cepat dan tepat sasaran kepada pasien, dalam upaya mencapai visi dan misinya. Terutama di saat pandemi Covid-19 beberapa waktu yang lalu, maka peran laboratorium di puskesmas sebagai garda terdepan pusat layanan kesehatan tingkat pertama dalam pemeriksaan gejala Covid-19 dan pelaksanaan vaksinasi menjadi penting. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan aplikasi laboratorium berbasis web di puskesmas Gandus dalam upaya untuk membantu staf laboratorium dalam melengkapi, mengumpulkan, memproses, dan mempresentasikan data secara lebih terstruktur, mudah dipahami, akurat, dan tepat waktu. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi wawancara, diskusi, pengambilan data pasien dan pemeriksaan laboratorium, instalasi aplikasi, serta sosialisasi penggunaannya. Abstract

The conventional management of archives using physical files at the Jambi-Betung II Toll Road Land Procurement Commitment Making Officer (PPK-PPTJT) agency results in slow document retrieval, a higher risk of data loss, and limited accessibility to important information. This community service initiative aims to enhance the technological skills of human resources at PPK-PPTJT Jambi-Betung II, particularly in electronic archive management. The methods employed involve socialization and technical training on using e-archive applications for four PPK-PPTJT employees. Evaluation was conducted through questionnaires and interviews to assess the participants' improvement in understanding and skills. The results demonstrated a significant increase in participants' capabilities: 25% reported a better understanding of the benefits of e-archives, 75% enhanced their operational application skills, and 25% felt more confident in managing electronic archives. The implementation of e-archives has successfully reduced reliance on physical documents and expedited the toll road land procurement administration process, ultimately increasing the operational efficiency of PPK-PPTJT Jambi-Betung II.Keywords: e-archive; mentoring; land procurement; archive management  Abstrak: Pengelolaan arsip secara konvensional dengan menggunakan berkas fisik di instansi Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen Pelaksana Pengadaan Tanah Jalan Tol (PPK-PPTJT) Jambi-Betung II menyebabkan lambatnya pencarian dokumen, rentan kehilangan data, dan terbatasnya aksesibilitas terhadap informasi penting. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya manusia di PPK-PPTJT Jambi-Betung II dalam hal digitalisasi dan pengelolaan arsip elektronik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis penggunaan aplikasi e-arsip bagi empat pegawai PPK-PPTJT. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan angket dan wawancara untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan empat peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: 19% peserta lebih memahami manfaat e-arsip, 31% peningkatan kemampuan operasional aplikasi, dan 25% peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam pengelolaan arsip elektronik. Penerapan e-arsip berhasil mengurangi ketergantungan pada arsip fisik, mempercepat proses administrasi pengadaan tanah jalan tol, efisiensi ruang penyimpan, dan kemudahan monitoring dan evaluasi proses operasional PPK-PPTJT Jambi-Betung II.Kata kunci: e-arsip; pendampingan; pengadaan tanah; pengelolaan arsip

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of feature extraction and fine-tuning approaches in developing robust cyber intrusion detection models using the Network-based Security Lab - KDD dataset (NSL-KDD). The role of cyber intrusion detection is pivotal in securing computer networks from unauthorized access and malicious activities. Feature extraction, involving methods such as PCA, LDA, and Autoencoders, aims to transform raw data into informative representations, while fine-tuning leverages pre-trained models for task-specific adaptation. The study follows a comprehensive research method encompassing data collection, preprocessing, model development, and experimental evaluation. Results indicate that LDA and Autoencoders excel in the feature extraction phase, demonstrating precision, high accuracy, F1-Score, and recall. However, fine-tuning a pre-trained Multilayer Perceptron model surpasses individual feature extraction methods, achieving superior performance across all metrics. The discussion emphasizes the complexity and flexibility of these approaches, with fine-tuned models showcasing higher adaptability. In conclusion, this study provides valuable insights into the comparative effectiveness of feature extraction and fine-tuning for cyber intrusion detection. The findings underscore the importance of leveraging pre-trained knowledge and adapting models to specific tasks, offering a foundation for further advancements in enhancing network security through advanced machine learning techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mechanism for detecting machine learning-based cyber intrusions in electronic learning systems. In today's digital era, e-learning systems have become an integral part of education and training, providing global accessibility and more interactive learning efficiency. However, security and privacy challenges are becoming critical issues due to the increasingly real threat of cyber intrusion. Attackers try to take advantage of vulnerabilities and weaknesses in e-learning systems to steal sensitive data or disrupt operations. To overcome this problem, this study focuses on the use of artificial intelligence technologies, especially machine learning, to proactively detect and respond to intrusive threats. Through e-learning security analysis, identification of weaknesses, and potential loopholes for cyber-attacks, the most suitable machine learning algorithms are selected to detect patterns and signs of intrusion attacks on network data. The evaluation results show that several machine learning algorithms, such as SVM and Decision Tree, have good performance in recognizing cyber intrusions with high accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC. By implementing machine learning-based intrusion detection technology, it is expected that electronic learning systems can be more proactive in identifying and responding to intrusion threats before significant damage occurs. This research has significant benefits in increasing security and privacy in the use of electronic learning systems. In addition, this study is expected to be a reference for further research in the world of cyber security and the application of artificial intelligence technology in supporting digital security.

Abstract

Accurate passenger demand forecasting is essential for optimizing the operational efficiency and sustainability of urban rail systems. This study aims to forecast monthly passenger numbers in the Palembang Light Rail Transit (LRT) system using optimized Exponential Smoothing (ES) models with parameter tuning for improved predictive accuracy. Three variants of the ES method are examined: Simple Exponential Smoothing (SES), Double Exponential Smoothing (DES), and Brown's Exponential Smoothing (BES). Furthermore, Seasonal ARIMA (SARIMA) is used as a benchmark to evaluate whether simpler ES models can match or outperform complex statistical approaches. Data from August 2018 to December 2023 are analyzed and split into training and testing sets (ratio 80:20). Model performance is evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Diebold–Mariano (DM), and Ljung–Box Q (LBQ) tests. The results show that the SES model with a smoothing parameter α = 0.9 achieves the best forecasting accuracy on the test data (MAPE = 8.6%), outperforming other ES variants and previous SARIMA-based models. These findings highlight that simpler ES-based models can effectively capture short-term transportation demand patterns in developing urban transit systems. Practically, the results of this study can provide valuable insights for LRT operators and municipal planners in designing responsive, data-driven operational strategies.

Abstract

Optimasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi (IT) dibutuhkan pelaku usaha untuk pemulihan ekonomi pasca pandemi COVID-19. Melalui kegiatan ini diberikan materi penggunaan tool berbasis IT untuk promosi dan pemasaran produk pempek pada media sosial seperti Instagram atau Facebook. Dengan penggunaan tool berbasis IT ini dapat menarik minat calon konsumen untuk membeli produk yang ditawarkan, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan perekonomian pelaku usaha pempek di Kelurahan Talang Jambe. Berdasarkan feedback yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini dapat diketahui peserta dengan rentang usia 15-30 tahun adalah yang paling memahami, ingin menerapkan, dan berkeinginan untuk mencoba (sebanyak 100 persen) materi optimasi promosi dan pemasaran produk pempek yang telah disampaikan. Sedangkan peserta pada rentang usia 0-15 tahun dan diatas 30 tahun relatif moderat, dalam arti sebahagian memahami dan sebagian lainnya kurang memahami/tidak ingin menerapkan ilmu yang telah diperoleh dari kegiatan ini. Harapan penulis semoga kegiatan ini dapat berlanjut dimasa mendatang, dan dapat diikuti oleh peserta dengan jumlah yang lebih banyak sehingga proses pemulihan ekonomi pasca pancemi COVID-19 dapat dilakukan lebih cepat.

Abstract

Academic information systems are one of the information systems most widely used by universities. Academic information systems are designed to meet the needs of universities in providing computerized educational services to improve performance, service quality, competitiveness and the quality of human resources created. The Indo Global Mandiri College of Economics and Sharia Business, known by the abbreviation STEBIS IGM, is a college that has utilized information technology by developing the STEBIS IGM Academic Information System (SIAKAD). The STEBIS IGM Academic Information System is a system that is used as a basis for students' needs to obtain information related to class schedules, filling in KRS, study results cards, student grades, student bills, transcripts of lecture results, consultations, study results and other information. The aim of this research is to determine the level of student satisfaction with the STEBIS IGM academic information system using the Pieces Framework method which consists of six (6) variables, namely Performance, Information and Data, Economic, Control and Security, Efficiency, Service. Respondents in this study were active students in the class of 2021 and class of 2022 who used the STEBIS IGM academic information system. The results that will be obtained from this research are the level of student satisfaction with the STEBIS IGM academic information system.
